It was delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant, the friendliness of the manager and staff, everything is refined. The sushi is a bit small, but each piece has a delicate flavor. The appetizers before the sushi were also excellent and paired well with sake (Japanese rice wine). I would like to go again.

I had a full meal with the omakase course and a la carte dishes ☺️ The portions were small and easy to eat! There are not many places where you can order only a la carte dishes like this, so I would like to visit again for a second round or something! The staff were also friendly and nice.

The second branch of Sushidokoro Kurosugi, which has won a Michelin star, was delicious. Especially the medium fatty tuna and cabbage sushi were outstanding. It was my first time trying cabbage sushi. The quality of the fish and rice was the same as the main branch. Here, you can also order a la carte and they are open until late, making it very convenient to visit.

I had heard from a close friend that a new second branch of Kurosugi-san, where you can enjoy à la carte dishes, had opened. I had been wanting to visit this place, and finally made a reservation for 7:00 pm on a weekday with my sushi-loving girlfriends. Location: Located along Route 2, it is easily accessible from Umeda underground shopping area. Just take the exit for "Kitanozaurus" near the JR Kitashinchi station, and you'll find it right away. It's convenient being so close to the underground shopping area! Interior: Located on the 10th floor of the building, the entrance exudes a sense of tranquility and sophistication. Upon entering, you'll find a unique counter and a bright and spacious atmosphere. There are two course options and an à la carte menu. As we are getting older and have smaller appetites, we opted for the 8,800 yen course, which includes one appetizer and 12 pieces of nigiri. Food: - Appetizer: Marinated squid - Nigiri: Red snapper, horse mackerel, yellowtail, marinated tuna, ark shell, sweet shrimp marinated in miso, cured mackerel, medium fatty tuna with salmon roe, red clam, conger eel, egg - Soup (clam and white miso) - Additional dishes: Sea urchin, steamed egg custard sushi The rice was firm and vinegared, and the nigiri pieces were beautifully presented. The seared red snapper had a delicate balance of flavors, while the horse mackerel surprised us with its lightness. The yellowtail was tender and flavorful, and the marinated tuna had a rich taste. The ark shell was sweet and delightful, and the sweet shrimp marinated in miso had a unique aroma. The cured mackerel was sharp and refreshing, and the medium fatty tuna melted in the mouth. The red clam was delicate and delicious, and the conger eel had a subtle smoky flavor. The sea urchin was rich and elegant, and the steamed egg custard sushi was a unique combination of flavors. Overall, the experience was delightful, and the fact that you can enjoy a meal for under 10,000 yen is a plus. The option to enjoy each nigiri piece individually is also a great feature. I often struggle to finish a full sushi course, so this style of dining was perfect for me.

This is a sister restaurant of the famous restaurant "Kokusugi." It seems that they prepare the ingredients at Kokusugi, so the taste is exceptional. Instead of the usual course menu, you can order individual items. You can enjoy your favorite sushi in your preferred amount, making it a great option for a second restaurant to visit. It is rare to find a restaurant where you can enjoy this quality in individual items. The best part is being able to enjoy the meal at your own pace. The staff are friendly and made the dining experience enjoyable. I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again. Thank you for the meal!

The course with 2 appetizers is 11,000 yen, quite cheap for eating sushi in Shinchi. The restaurant prefers customers to order the course, but I think it would have been better to order a la carte and eat as much as you like.

This is a sister restaurant of a Michelin-featured establishment. They aim to offer delicious sushi to more people by keeping the prices reasonable. The rice is cooked to just the right firmness. The sushi pieces are slightly small, with a good balance between the rice and toppings. The bonito tataki served that day was seared with straw right in front of us, not only a great performance but also delicious. Each piece of sushi was carefully crafted, creating a consistent experience throughout the course. We also enjoyed a few drinks, and the total bill for two was just under 30,000 yen, making it great value for money. The owner and staff were friendly, and we had a pleasant time. I will definitely be coming back.

Located near JR Kitashinchi Station, this restaurant is a branch of the Michelin-starred Kurosugi-san. Unlike the omakase course at Kurosugi-san, you can order a la carte here, so you can enjoy as much as you want of your favorite dishes (of course, omakase is also possible). The sushi rice is slightly smaller, making it perfect for sake drinkers but a challenge for those who don't drink. The carefully crafted sushi paired with premium ingredients, enjoyed with Japanese sake, is a delightful experience. Some of the dishes we enjoyed included bonito tataki from Wakayama, eel and salmon roe mini donburi from Kagoshima, and various nigiri sushi. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant and trying out their offerings.

This is a high-end sushi restaurant in Kitashinchi where you can enjoy a variety of dishes a la carte. It's so convenient! You can order your favorite dishes and pair them with your favorite sake. I think this is the best way to go. Depending on your mood, you can order what you like. It's so kind of them. And to finish off, the tekka maki is always a favorite. Thank you for the feast. But if it becomes too popular, I might not be able to go whenever I want!

It had been a while since I visited Osaka, so I searched for a place that stays open late at night. I found a single shop in a building with an elevator that led straight to the shop. The shop had a counter-style seating and served appetizers (typical in Kansai for drinking) followed by small but delicious sushi. The place was fairly new and not very crowded, but it had a great atmosphere.
