"No, no, this is quite surprising, it's really well done." That was my reaction to the creative shaved ice topped with cold chicken skin that I recently tried here. I have used the unique takeout service called "Gachi Don" in the past, where the contents change like a fortune cookie, but on this day in late July, I tried the limited-time menu centered around the theme of "Exciting Summer" inside the restaurant "Gochisoumura." The "Tuna Fresh Spring Rolls" with a separate dipping sauce for flavor variation and the "Cold Roast Beef Basil Pasta" with a slightly thicker and satisfying roast beef were interesting and unusual dishes that I enjoyed. However, the most impactful dish was the "Frozen! Chicken Skin Sweet and Spicy Tempura" and the "Super Frozen! Chicken Skin Sweet and Spicy Tempura Shaved Ice." The chicken skin tempura was fried and then frozen with a sweet and spicy sauce, which was a first for me to eat fried food in a cold state. The balance of sweetness and saltiness in the sauce, combined with the flavor of the chicken skin, made me feel like I was enjoying a sweet treat like mitarashi dango or black honey while eating the cold tempura. And to top it off, the cold chicken skin was placed on shaved ice with lemon flesh and whipped cream in the "Super Frozen! Chicken Skin Sweet and Spicy Tempura Shaved Ice." In recent years, there has been a growing interest in shaved ice desserts with more savory ingredients, known as "side dish shaved ice," but I never expected to find such a dish in an izakaya. Before eating, I honestly thought it might be a gimmicky menu item prioritizing novelty, but when I tried it, the refreshing lemon shaved ice paired surprisingly well with the chicken skin, sweet and spicy sauce, and whipped cream, creating a fun contrast between the expected taste and the actual taste. The limited-time menu with the theme of "Exciting Summer" is available until the end of August. While other limited menu items are great, if you're looking for unique dishes like "side dish shaved ice" or other unusual items, I highly recommend trying the "Frozen! Chicken Skin Sweet and Spicy Tempura" and the "Super Frozen! Chicken Skin Sweet and Spicy Tempura Shaved Ice."

First time trying the limited quantity lunch. I arrived early, so maybe that's why I was able to order. The plate was big with lots of small dishes on it, making it visually appealing. The daily special was also delicious. A drink was included as well. The portion size was just right for me. Overall, nothing in particular stood out. I'll probably try a different menu item next time.

My husband had fried oysters, and I had a sushi set meal with freshly fried tempura and chawanmushi. The soba was a bit disappointing, lacking in fragrance, maybe it was frozen? Haha. They cut it into bite-sized pieces, making it easy to eat. Of course, it was delicious. The restaurant has private rooms, so you can feel safe even during the pandemic.

This is a dining bar with a large parking lot. Most of the seating is in private rooms. During this time of the coronavirus pandemic, you can dine here with peace of mind. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. The "Fortune Telling Highball" is fun - you never know what you'll get. If you get "Great Luck," it's free! The dishes are creatively prepared in various ways.

It's been a while since I had lunch at Gochimura. Today's special was "Miso Katsu set" which included "Miso Katsu", 4 kinds of tempura, a small serving of salmon sashimi, and delicious chawanmushi. The miso soup with seaweed was also tasty. I was really satisfied and full after the meal.

They didn't have Super Dry on tap before, so I always drank Asahi in a bottle, but I'm happy that they now serve Super Dry on tap.

I was running a bit late, but when I contacted the restaurant, they kindly accommodated me. Gochimura is known for being affordable and delicious, but the sashimi served late was not good. However, everything else was delicious.

Gochimura is a place that is both affordable and delicious. The staff are very friendly, so even if something is confusing, you will feel at ease (laughs). There are many semi-private seating areas, which are very calming. The omikuji highball is interesting and I always order it a few times.

The plate lunch included a variety of dishes, with my favorite salmon sashimi being the first to be enjoyed. The healthy side dishes were beautifully arranged, and I had the option to choose between white rice, multi-grain rice, or mixed grain rice. Another delightful surprise was the choice of dessert, which came with chocolate fondue and coffee. My son, who was the designated driver, opted for the tempura rice bowl and grated yam soba. The restaurant offered a wide range of menu options suitable for everyone from children to the elderly, making it a family-friendly and welcoming place. The spacious interior and parking lot added to the overall pleasant dining experience.

There is no disappointment in anything you eat here. The dishes seem to be very well researched. The staff and the manager are very warm. Even though there was a slight mistake when the drinks didn't come with some of the dishes, their apologetic faces made me want to say, "It's okay. Thank you☆". They were very kind even when I accidentally deleted the prepayment email. I highly recommend this place.

Today, I went out drinking at night for the first time. All the dishes had flavors that everyone enjoyed. It's more casual than elegant, but there are various dishes and they are all delicious. I had this much food, three medium-sized beers, and three highballs, and it didn't even cost 7000 yen. I think I'm going to be hooked for a while. (=^^=)

The fortune-telling highball game was fun - I got a free drink for a great fortune, half-price for a good fortune, and had to pay extra for a larger size for a decent fortune. I got a decent fortune all three times!

I was excited to go since the open announcement half a year ago. The sashimi was delicious in moderation, and the mini seafood bowl with sesame oil dressing was tasty and went well with the rice! The motsunabe was also delicious with just the right amount. We requested a tatami room and were able to relax in a private space.
