I ordered the pure tonkotsu with egg and mentaiko rice set. The soup was not too rich and the noodles were slightly firmer than usual, which I liked. Adding an egg made it cost 1030 yen, which I wish was a bit cheaper. The fact that it came out quickly after ordering was really nice.

I had some time at the airport, so I went to a place called Mankai where you can eat all the pickled vegetables you want. The ramen was delicious, of course, but what I really liked was the all-you-can-eat pickled vegetables. However, they serve the pickled vegetables in small plates, so as a pickled vegetable lover, it was a bit of a hassle to keep asking for more.

Flight is approaching but I got hungry, so I decided to end my visit to Fukuoka with ramen. I found Mankai-san at the Ramen Street inside Fukuoka Airport. I ordered the Jun Tonkotsu ramen. The pork bone soup had a gentle flavor that paired well with the thin noodles, and it even came with two thick slices of chashu. It had a rich taste but was still light enough to enjoy the tonkotsu ramen fully. It seems to be crowded due to its location, but if you can get a seat, you can quickly enjoy your meal, making it convenient. I will definitely stop by again when I visit Fukuoka Airport next time.

I ordered the Katamen Chiodon and Gyoza set. I initially had doubts about the difference between the menu photo and the actual dish. The amount and color of the three types of blended flavors seemed lacking. I first tried the soup, and it was different from the usual tonkotsu Hakata ramen I eat, which was refreshing. Hmm, then I tried the noodles, but I felt that the soup and noodles didn't mix well. I should have just ordered the Jun Ton. With that thought, I left.

At Fukuoka Airport, it's customary to go to a place like Ramen Alley before boarding and eat before getting on the plane. I had never seen this shop before, but I decided to try it because of the Osaka-style sign outside! I was curious about what it would be like, but it was delicious. It wasn't too smelly or too rich, but just the right amount of richness with the pork fat. I have a weak stomach, so I felt a little heavy afterwards, but I think it's an easy-to-eat tonkotsu ramen even for women. When you don't have time to wait in line at popular shops, this might be a hidden gem!

Thank you for always viewing ✨ If you like it, please try bookmarking the store with the "Save Store" button. A shop located at Fukuoka Airport. When walking along Ramen Street, every place was full of waiting customers! I was able to get in right away here due to good timing. The shop trained in Fukuoka, opened the main store in Osaka, and expanded its stores, so it felt like a reverse import shop in Fukuoka ✨ I thought about the main store in Osaka, but it was really delicious ✨ It's a recommended shop where I finished the soup as well (*^▽^*) I ordered the Jun Tonkotsu for 880 yen. Thank you for reading until the end ✨ If you leave a comment, I will reply ✨ I hope this information on gourmet food can be helpful to everyone, even a little bit. ▽I also update my Instagram. I arrived back from a business trip in the early afternoon and waited in line for a bit before sitting at the counter. It's summer vacation season, so everywhere is crowded, but trying out the ramen is a must. I ordered the Special Tonkotsu Ramen. It arrived quickly, and I took a sip of the soup. It had a refreshing taste, with a clean aftertaste, and the noodles were ordinary. It's a tonkotsu ramen without any strong flavors. Towards the end, I added some pickled ginger for a different taste, and before I knew it, I had finished the whole bowl. This popular restaurant seems to attract a lot of female customers.

Visited with a friend during a trip. Had some time before the flight, so we decided to have ramen! (But ended up cutting it close with time.) I ordered the light pork ramen. As the name suggests, it was light and the soup was delicious! Not only that, you could also taste the richness of the pork, so I think it's perfect for those who like light flavors but also enjoy the taste of pork.

Fukuoka Airport has an area called Ramen Runway with many tonkotsu ramen shops, making it easy to find your favorite ramen. Mankai's ramen was also light and to my liking. It was delicious.

During a gourmet trip to Fukuoka, I rushed to have some tonkotsu ramen before heading back. I had to catch a morning flight, so I barely made it in time, but I really wanted to have one last bowl of ramen before leaving. I headed to the ramen street at the airport. Even though it was still early and not lunchtime yet, there were already lines forming at some popular shops. I only had time for one bowl this time, but if I had more time, I would have loved to try multiple shops. I chose a bowl of Jun Ton Ramen for 880 yen. The noodles were cooked al dente. This ramen is made from a purebred Tonkotsu broth using domestic "Wamoton" pork, simmered for about 16 hours. The soup was light and the thin noodles paired well with it. I finished it all in no time. I really enjoyed the quick and tasty ramen street experience. Next time, I'd like to come with more time and try two bowls for sure.

I unexpectedly arrived at the airport early and walked around the building trying to decide where to have lunch after checking in. I ended up choosing Manzai and opted for ramen, debating whether to get the extra pork bowl. In the end, I went for the most basic tonkotsu ramen with extra chashu. The chashu was a bit tough and average, so maybe I didn't need the extra portion after all.

Order the pure tonkotsu ramen for ¥880. There are several ramen shops on the 3rd floor of the domestic terminal at Fukuoka Airport! This shop near the entrance has large chashu with a satisfying texture. The tonkotsu soup is soft and just to my liking, especially when eaten with thin noodles and crunchy wood ear mushrooms. Perfect for a meal in Fukuoka! Definitely give it a try!

I had over an hour until my flight, so I decided to visit a traditional tonkotsu ramen shop that I had never been to before, called Tsukiya. It was a great choice! #FukuokaAirport #RamenTaxiway #Ramen #Average #PurePork #AokiShokusan #Lunch

Order the "Light Pork Ramen" with a clear soup that even those who don't like pork bone can enjoy. It comes with thin noodles, two thick slices of chashu, seaweed, wheat gluten, green onions, and a seasoned egg. The noodles are cooked in clean boiling water, so you may have to wait a bit if you hit the right time, but you'll get to enjoy delicious noodles.

I arrived at around 11:30 on a regular day and was able to enter smoothly. I ordered the Juntan Ramen with a boiled egg. The soup was a rich pork bone broth with straight thin noodles. The toppings included bean sprouts, wood ear mushrooms, green onions, chashu, and a boiled egg. There was one thick slice of chashu and one thin slice of chashu. The pork bone soup was similar to Ippudo's. It cost 1,030 yen.

Special Tonkotsu Ramen for 1250 yen. I arrived at the ramen shop at Fukuoka Airport's runway around 11:30 on a weekday, but it was already full. I bought a meal ticket and the ramen arrived in less than 5 minutes, as expected from a Hakata-style ramen, the noodles were served quickly. I took a sip of the soup, the Hakata-style tonkotsu broth was delicious as expected, but I didn't feel any significant difference compared to other shops. The noodles were thin, typical of Hakata-style, and I ordered them firm so they had a nice chewy texture. The seasoned egg topping was flavorful but a bit too firm for my liking, the yolk was completely solid. The chashu was impressive with thick slices similar to Jiro-style, and there were 3 slices in the special bowl, very satisfying. The wood ear mushrooms added a nice crunchy texture as well. Overall, the tonkotsu ramen didn't have any standout features, but the chashu was the highlight, so if you love chashu, definitely go for the special option.

Juntom Ramen for 830 yen. No line on Sunday after 7 PM. Waited about 5 minutes for the ramen. This is your typical Hakata tonkotsu ramen. Not too strong pork bone flavor, just the right amount of salt, a well-behaved Hakata ramen. The chashu is thick and you get two slices, plenty of green onions and wood ear mushrooms, so the higher price is justified. Probably the best airport Hakata ramen? A bit disappointing that they charge extra for takana.

On a Sunday with a shift to work in Hakata ward, I brought my Lunch Passport (LP) and first headed to Fukuoka Airport for lunch. (laughs) I visited "Mankai Fukuoka Airport Store" in Ramen Slide, according to the LP. The store owner learned how to make ramen in Hakata and opened a shop in Osaka. I arrived just before the crowds at 11:30. As soon as I entered the store, there was a ticket machine. A family with children was bustling around like in a commercial. (^^; I asked the staff nearby, and they said the LP menu requires cash payment without going through the ticket machine. I handed the cash to the staff and was able to enter smoothly. There were counter seats and two large shared tables on the floor. Since I was dining alone, I chose a counter seat. The counter seats had alternating seats with and without backrests, and I chose the one with a backrest. However, both were high chairs, so it was a bit uncomfortable to place my feet. I ordered the "Light Pork Ramen with Egg and Char Siu Rice (1,460 yen → 1,000 yen)". The serving time was about 5 minutes. First, the ramen arrived, and shortly after, the char siu rice was served. - Light Pork Ramen There were three pieces of wheat gluten on top of the ramen, which is rare in Hakata. The soup was a light amber color, perfectly matching the word "light". What floated in the soup was not lard, but chopped onions. Together with the noodles, the crunchy texture of the onions added an accent to the dish. The noodles were very thin and I asked for them to be firm, resulting in a perfect texture. - Char Siu Rice The diced seared char siu with plenty of green onions and a sprinkle of seaweed on top. The aroma of each component whets the appetite. Both dishes were delicious and of good quality, but they come at a price. If it's normally priced at 1,460 yen, this level of quality is to be expected, right? It was a treat.

"Pure Tonkotsu Ramen with Egg - 1030 yen. Flavor breakdown: Soup - 3.5 Noodles - 3.4 Char siu - 3.0 Egg - 3.1. The soup is light and enjoyable, but the ramen overall feels a bit lacking. The pork bone smell is not overpowering, so it should be okay for those who are sensitive to it."

I really wanted to have a bowl of tonkotsu ramen before departing from Fukuoka Airport, so I hurried into this ramen shop. It was a weekday afternoon, so I was able to get a seat right away. When I ordered my ramen, the staff immediately offered me an apron and brought a basket for my belongings. Their kindness was wonderful! Both the ramen and gyoza were delicious. Highly recommended!
