This is a review of the breakfast at a hotel in Osaka Kyobashi. Due to the pandemic, they have switched from a buffet to a one-plate style breakfast called the "Morning Plate" for ¥2,200. The menu changes every two days. For the first meal, I had a shrimp sandwich with cocktail sauce and a grilled chicken tomato gratin. For the second meal, I had white rice porridge with pickled plum and kelp, along with a main dish of salmon mousse with yuzu pepper jelly. The breakfast is luxurious, but the side dishes are the same every day. I wish there was more variety in the side dishes. I also enjoyed the acai bowl with fruit, honey, and yogurt every morning.

I participated in a buffet tour at a certain jewelry store, and although the dining time was a bit short, I was satisfied after enjoying plenty of food with the grand chateau right in front of me.

My high school had a commercial course. While there is a reunion for the third year graduates, there isn't one for the second year. It is a co-ed school with three mixed-gender classes and four all-girls classes. The reunion was held for the 2nd year Class 3, where the girls mentioned that the times in mixed-gender classes were the most fun. The reunion took place at the banquet hall on the 7th floor of Hotel Keihan in Kyobashi, Osaka. The fee was 8000 yen, which included a commemorative photo. The event was held on November 11, 2017, from 12:00 to 15:00. Although I initially said I couldn't attend due to work, I ended up joining at 14:00 without paying the fee. The cuisine served was Japanese, including soba and nigiri sushi. At 63 years old, Japanese food is quite enjoyable. I made it just in time for the final dessert and coffee. The dessert was also Japanese-style and quite delicious. There was a somewhat picky old man when it came to the coffee. As expected from Hotel Keihan, the aroma was nice, and it had a rich flavor. Since I had free drinks due to the reasons mentioned earlier, I won't give a rating, but it would be around 3.9 (Thank you).

Kawachiya has reached 600 reviews! Half of the reviews are about Osaka. I started actively participating in reviews in June 2014, and it feels nostalgic. Kyoto is in second place, which is next to Osaka, and Kawachiya is in the city where I spent my university days. Kagoshima is in third place! I will definitely have more reviews when I visit my wife's hometown. I plan to increase the number of reviews this year as well. It's a coincidence that I reached 600 reviews here... but still. I need to think about Osaka 301. Kawachiya loves Western food. The Hotel Keihan is conveniently connected to Keihan Electric Railway Kyobashi Station. It's also convenient for both Kyoto and the center of Osaka. I stayed in a single room and had breakfast included. The room was clean and had a sense of cleanliness, although it was small. I used the restaurant on the 7th floor for breakfast, and they had a decent variety of dishes. The selection of drinks was also good! The vegetable salad is my favorite, so Kawachiya passed the first point to check when choosing a hotel breakfast. The carrot soup was also delicious. The view is decent as it's on the 7th floor. The bright space left a good impression. Well, it's Kyobashi after all.

I stayed at Hotel Keihan Kyobashi in Higashinoda-cho, Miyakojima-ku, Osaka in August 2012 and had breakfast buffet. The hotel is located above Keihan Main Line Kyobashi Station. The first to sixth floors are connected to Keihan Mall/Keihan Department Store. The restaurant is on the seventh floor near the front desk and has an open atmosphere. The overall impression is that the variety of dishes is not great for a city hotel. The taste is also average. However, they have a decent selection so it may be suitable for busy business people. Kyobashi is also a business district with Osaka Business Park nearby, so they may cater to business guests. For tourists, it may be a bit disappointing. The service is decent for a city hotel. Being on a high floor, the view is decent. It doesn't match the height of Hotel Monterey La Soeur Osaka nearby. I heard that they have been renovated and improved, so I will visit again. Thank you for the meal.

The breakfast buffet had a variety of breads, curry, and Japanese dishes. Personally, I really enjoyed the rich and delicious corn soup. The mini chawanmushi was also tasty. The xiaolongbao was like a mini meat bun. The view from the glass window was amazing, allowing me to watch planes and trains. The manager seemed to be constantly observing the restaurant. The breakfast buffet was satisfying with a good amount of food.

The breakfast was included in the room rate. I usually don't eat breakfast, but I had it today and I was really satisfied! I recommend the mixed juice, tamago kake gohan (rice with raw egg), and omelette. The omelette is cooked by an Italian chef and it was delicious. The mixed juice was amazing, my favorite flavor. The eggs for the tamago kake gohan were also very fresh. I was very satisfied with this breakfast and I definitely want to eat it again next time!

It's a party venue, and although various dishes are served, they seem quite cheap. Maybe they charge a lot for drinks at the station? The food includes sushi, junky french fries, sausages, two types of chicken, and a lasagna-like dish. And to top it off, takoyaki again... I'm tired of it. They don't serve skewers, but something seems to be missing. Kansai-style oden would be nice. It's surprisingly light and delicious, and goes well with alcohol.
