It's about a 5-minute walk from the Subway Yakuin-Odori Station. The restaurant is located on the second floor of a building a little off the main street. The interior has a cozy and slightly messy vibe, with table seating, sofa seating, and a counter. For lunch, they offer dishes like Scotch Egg, Hamburg Steak, and Curry, as well as a variety of drinks and desserts. The Chicken Nanban set meal for 1400 yen includes two small side dishes, salad, and miso soup. The side dishes were pickled radish and coleslaw. The Chicken Nanban was made with tender chicken breast, but the sweet vinegar sauce was a bit lacking in flavor and didn't pair well with the chicken. The miso soup was delicious with plenty of ingredients. It's nice that they offer two side dishes. It's also convenient that they serve lunch until late. The restaurant was quite busy with customers. Thank you for the meal.

I found a trendy café on the second floor of this hidden back alley. It's definitely a hidden gem! As I entered, I noticed it was filled with girls...! Everyone seems to know about this place. I ordered the Scotch Egg set, which I would never make myself. When it arrived on a warm wooden plate, I was surprised to see that the egg was runny inside. The sweet sauce, juicy meat on the outside, and the runny egg all mixed together were delicious. The miso soup was also hearty with lots of vegetables. The cozy atmosphere with wooden decor made it a perfect place to hang out. Although the prices for the set menu were a bit high considering the location away from Tenjin, I think it's worth it for the whole experience. Thank you for the meal. I went to this restaurant for lunch! It's on the second floor up the stairs. The seating area is spacious and nice. The interior is clean and cute. We arrived right at opening and the place quickly filled up with customers. I chose a main dish, which came with a side dish. It was healthy and the miso soup was soothing! It was delicious! The dishes were also lovely. The desserts looked delicious too! I would like to go back again!

A cozy cafe with a retro exterior, but inside, it offers a soothing atmosphere that is very welcoming. Personally, I really liked this place. The cafe is more spacious and stylish than it looks in photos, and all the dishes were delicious. The food seemed to be good for the body, with a gentle and loving touch. I felt very satisfied. The music playing was relaxing, and just being in the cafe made me feel refreshed and soothed. I would love to visit again.

A warm and cozy shop with a wooden interior, decorated with dried flowers and herbalium, creating a calming atmosphere. While Scotch eggs and hamburgers are famous here, this time I opted for desserts. The "Gâteau au Chocolat" (700 yen) tasted incredibly rich, like eating real raw chocolate, ranking high among the ones I've tried. It also comes with fruits on the side for a refreshing touch. The "Homemade Strawberry Syrup Milk" (500 yen) has syrup at the bottom, so you mix it while drinking. It's sweet and sour, making you want to gulp it down, and the glass is adorable. Apparently, they have candle nights on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays from sunset, which sounds like a great experience. They also serve dinner sets and alcohol at night! With a great atmosphere, it's recommended for dates or girls' nights out. Check out my Instagram account momono._.o for more Fukuoka gourmet recommendations! https://www.instagram.com/momono._.o/

I climbed a slightly steep staircase and found a stylish restaurant at the top. The atmosphere was nice. Today, I had the hand-kneaded hamburger with Japanese-style sauce for lunch. My friend had the Scotch egg lunch. The salad and side dishes were a nice touch. The hamburger was soft and delicious. There were many other menu items, drinks, and desserts that looked tasty. I want to try a different menu next time.

Today, the weather was nice after a long time, so I went for a stroll around the Yakuin area with my wife. We didn't have any specific information beforehand, but we felt like having Western food, so we decided to go in. The interior of the restaurant had a very nice and stylish atmosphere. It's definitely not the kind of place you would go to alone. When we looked at the menu, we saw that all the lunch options were 1,400 yen. It felt like a place I wouldn't normally visit. I ordered the mille-feuille cutlet, and my wife ordered the hand-kneaded hamburger (demi-glace). The dishes that came out included salad, miso soup, and a small side dish. The taste was decent and met our expectations, but as someone who usually looks for lunches under 1,000 yen, I couldn't help feeling like it was a bit lacking. Maybe it's just not my thing. It seems more suited for a girls' night out. The restaurant probably doesn't cater to old guys like me (laughs).

A cafe restaurant located on the second floor down a small alley from Ujinohashi Street. It is always crowded with customers. They were having an "Almond Fair" so I decided to try it out since I can't eat mackerel. The almond-crusted fried chicken (1,300 yen including tax) was delicious. The fried chicken pieces were decently sized and there were four of them. They came with regular ketchup on the side. The almond coating wasn't too hard and had a nice crunch, adding a delicious flavor to the chicken. The dried daikon radish was sweet and tasty, and the boiled greens were also flavorful. Both were generously portioned, which was a good impression. The salad was mostly cabbage and could use a bit more dressing. The rice was mixed grain and you can get one free refill. The miso soup was a bit light but had plenty of Chinese cabbage and fried tofu. The almond fried chicken was tasty with a nice almond flavor, and the salad and side dishes provided a good balance of nutrients. With free rice refills available, the portion size seemed sufficient.

"Saba (mackerel) tempura with colorful vegetables (¥1300). It's been a while since I had lunch here. I arrived just after lunchtime, around 1 pm, and the popular restaurant was almost full. They were having an almond fair, so I ordered a fair-exclusive menu item. The saba tempura was served with a variety of colorful vegetables and a generous amount of almond burnt butter sauce. The roughly crushed almonds were very fragrant, added a nice texture, and were delicious. It's great to know that something so tasty is also good for beauty and health. Thank you for the delicious meal ☺︎"

I arrived around 4 pm for my reservation. The restaurant was about half full. I couldn't order just dessert, so I had to get a set drink which made it a bit pricey at 1700 yen. However, the peach with vanilla ice cream inside and the tart at the bottom were delicious and satisfying!

It's been a while, but it was delicious! There were so many other things I wanted to try, but since I came here, I had to try the Scotch Egg. It was so good that my friend and I both ordered the same thing. Even the custard pudding was delicious. #fukuoka #fukuokacafe #cafe #fukuokafood #JoytripCafe #ScotchEgg #CustardPudding #pudding #FukuokaCity #ChuoWard #FukuokaGourmet #Gourmet #FukuokaCafe

This is a lovely cafe with a natural atmosphere. The lunch was delicious and highly recommended. I had the Scotch Egg this time. It came with two small side dishes, and the miso soup was full of ingredients which made me happy. The Scotch Egg was perfectly cooked with a runny yolk. The demi-glace sauce was also tasty, and I was very satisfied with the lunch.

I arrived at the restaurant right after it opened, but it was already full due to Golden Week. It seems like you can make reservations. Even though it was full, the turnover was quick, so the wait wasn't too long. I ordered the Miyazaki Harmony Pork shoulder loin with plenty of sautéed vegetables. The meat was tender and the Japanese sauce was very delicious! My sister ordered the Scotch Egg, which seems to be a popular menu item. We shared the Matcha Kado Chocolat for dessert, and as a matcha lover, I really enjoyed the strong matcha flavor! There are also various dessert options that I would like to try. When we left, we were surprised to see a long line waiting. I recommend going early or making a reservation. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, and the staff were calm and very good. I would love to visit this restaurant again.

I visited for lunch and ordered the Scotch Egg that I was curious about. It came with salad, miso soup, and a side dish, so I was able to get a balanced nutritional meal. The rice also had mixed grains in it. The main Scotch Egg was fried but not greasy, with a gentle flavor. It was topped with demi-glace sauce. Personally, I thought it could use a bit more saltiness and a richer demi-glace sauce, so I'm giving it 3 stars. However, it is healthy and delicious, and the staff were polite and provided great service. It's a wonderful restaurant.

I will have lunch at "Joy Trip Cafe," a renovated beauty salon or restaurant located in the middle of the street connecting Imaizumi and Yakuin. The cozy interior with exposed beams exudes a warm wooden feel, and the place is filled with mostly female customers, including groups of mom friends living nearby. I tried their signature dish, the "Scotch Egg," which features a perfectly seasoned soft-boiled egg wrapped in a flavorful hamburger patty. The juicy and well-seasoned hamburger paired perfectly with the demiglace sauce, showcasing the restaurant's popularity. The dish came with a side salad, spinach and enoki mushroom appetizer, and a warm dish of cabbage and minced chicken, all meticulously homemade. The miso soup was also filled with neatly cut daikon radish, cabbage, carrots, and fried tofu, making it a hearty and delicious meal.

I often see this restaurant on SNS and my friend happened to be interested, so we decided to visit. When we arrived, it was already packed. I ordered the Scotch Egg, which had a crispy coating and delicious meat inside. I wanted to try the Mont Blanc parfait, but it was sold out quickly.

I went to a cafe called "Joy Trip Cafe" in Kagurazaka looking for something sweet. It was my first time there, so I couldn't decide what to eat and ended up ordering three items haha. I got the Mont Blanc parfait for 1200 yen, custard pudding for 350 yen, and pumpkin baked cheesecake for 600 yen. The Mont Blanc parfait had custard pudding at the bottom, about half of the normal portion, but I love pudding so I enjoyed both the parfait and the pudding. The pumpkin baked cheesecake was also delicious. The lunch menu seems to be very tasty too, so I'll try it next time. Thank you for the meal!

I had been curious about this shop that was popular on Instagram. What I had that day was the "Scotch Egg"! A boiled egg wrapped in hamburger meat. The hamburger was a bit tough, maybe overcooked, so I rated it 3.0. However, it came with salad and miso soup, so the cost performance is good! There were many other menu items that caught my eye, so I would like to try something else next time.

I met up with a friend after a long time and found this cozy restaurant to relax in. Located in a back alley in Kego, the restaurant has a calm atmosphere with wooden decor. Arriving before 12 pm on a Sunday, there were a few other customers already there. The lunch options were either 1000 yen or 1050 yen, with the choice to add a drink and dessert set. I ordered the hand-kneaded stewed hamburger set this time. The set came with rice, stewed hamburger, miso soup, salad, and two side dishes, showing a well-balanced meal. The main stewed hamburger was fluffy and delicious when paired with the demi-glace sauce. The miso soup and side dishes were also tasty! I thought I could leisurely enjoy the meal, but as more customers started lining up, I had to leave. It's a shame. This restaurant offers delicious, well-balanced meals, so it would be handy to visit when around Kego.

I found this place on Instagram and came right away. I don't usually eat Scotch eggs, but the taste and atmosphere were great. It has a casual vibe and I felt comfortable dining here.
