It's been a while since I had Isshin Nabe. It's the most famous hot pot restaurant in Nishiiin. The unique pot has a deep center, and it's fun to eat by gradually breaking down the ingredients around it. On this day, I chose the Isshin Nabe Course for 3000 yen! The hot pot (Japanese beef loin), grilled rice cakes, and champon noodles with rice porridge are included. I didn't quite understand about the rice cakes and having two types of finishing dishes, so I got carried away and added another Isshin Nabe for two, beef intestines, and red intestines. After eating the rice cakes, champon noodles, and rice porridge, I was so full that I was rolling around. But it was delicious, so it's all good!

I went to have a meal with my friend in Kyoto after visiting USJ, and we wanted to eat something quite hearty, so we went to a restaurant recommended by my friend! This time, we had hormone hot pot as the main dish and enjoyed some drinks. The Korean seaweed was grilled on a hot plate, and the garlic soy sauce was also served on a hot plate. The hormone hot pot was more like cooking the hormone on a hot plate rather than in a pot, giving it a mysterious feeling of stir-frying while simmering? We finished our meal with rice porridge and enjoyed everything deliciously.

■Date and Time: Reserved for the first day of the 3-day weekend at 6:00 PM, arrived to find it fully booked with reservations■Food:◎Seared Meat - 1400 yen. The portion is small, but it has a nice rareness and decent fattiness, very delicious! Feels like quite a rare steak. Goes well with garlic!◎Chef's Choice Hot Pot - 2400 yen. Extremely delicious!!! It has a slightly different taste, like a unique spicy stew. They say you're supposed to dip it in the sauce, but it's actually better without! Sometimes changing the taste by dipping in the sauce is refreshing and also good! Especially the vegetables like bean sprouts are tasty, and the variety of hormone meats are all delicious, including the Japanese beef. The style of breaking up the vegetables and meat from the embankment little by little and eating them is fun and good! The udon noodles served at the end were also a great choice!■Cost Performance: With drinks, it's around 4200 yen per person. Even without going for a set course, you'll be satisfied and the cost performance is excellent!

I came here after a long time! When it gets cold, I crave hot pot! On this day, I ordered the hormone hot pot! It's a unique type where you grill and eat the hot pot on a hot plate! The hot pot comes with mochi, rice, and udon for the finishing touch, but I can never finish all of it. Maybe they could add more ingredients instead of having all three options for the finishing touch...

Visited on a Friday at 5:00 PM and it quickly became full, so it's better to make a reservation in advance. A few days ago had made a reservation and saw many autographed boards from famous celebrities! The assorted hot pot with both pork loin and offal was delicious. We ordered the "Assorted Hot Pot" for ¥2400 per person (tax not included), with the option to order for multiple people. The raw tripe was ¥750 (tax not included), and the kimchi assortment was so tasty that one serving per person wasn't enough - it also had a light amount of vegetables. We added various extras later on! Finished off with ramen and porridge. Ate and drank a lot, so it came to around ¥11,000 per person including tax. The staff's service was good too. Will definitely come back again. Thank you for the meal.

Are you going for a course meal or ordering a la carte? Even with ordering a la carte, I still enjoyed it to a certain extent. There were various items I wanted to try if I had a bit more space in my stomach. Since I can't drink alcohol right now, I found the flavors to be a bit strong. I think I could have enjoyed it more if I had some alcohol with the meal.

I went to Isshin Nabe after a long time! This time, I ordered the Isshin Nabe course (3000 yen + tax, I think?). Before the hot pot, we were served appetizers. In the photo, you can see champon noodles after the hot pot, but actually there was also rice porridge after that, but we didn't have time to get there. Haha. The meat and vegetables really match well with the sauce. No matter how many times I eat it, it's always delicious! It's a wonderful restaurant that makes you want to go back regularly!

One of the few locations in Kyoto, Isshin serves the popular chiri-nabe hot pot. Their version features Kyoto vegetables, beef, and a light soup, differentiating it from Korean hot pots. With a focus on beef, they also offer a variety of side dishes, making it a favorite among many fans.

A unique hot pot restaurant near Nishioji Station that serves a sweet and savory flavored dish that whets your appetite. I tried it for the first time last winter based on a friend's recommendation. It has a taste that becomes addictive. As it's getting cold again this year, I felt like having the Isshin Nabe again and revisited the restaurant. I ordered the Isshin Nabe course again this year. It's a delicious hot pot with a sweet and savory flavor!

A friend recommended a delicious hot pot restaurant, and when I visited, the interior was filled with autographs of famous people. The hot pot had an original shape, with a hollow in the middle where you pour the broth and gradually add ingredients from the sides. The hot pot set costs around 3,000 yen and includes beef belly, loin, chicken, and offal that you can add in as you like! The broth was sweet and savory, a taste I hadn't experienced much before but found delicious. The set also comes with Chinese noodles, mochi, and porridge. I left feeling very full and satisfied with the delicious meal.

While strolling around Nishioji, I stumbled upon a restaurant with lots of food options. They offer hot pot with a variety of toppings, including kimchi and sashimi. The taste was average, and the hot pot was a bit saltier than before. The cost performance is good, so I recommend giving it a try. Personally, I couldn't help but notice the chef peeking out from the kitchen, which was both amusing and intriguing. I believe they are watching over the diners in a good way! Haha. I will definitely go back when winter comes.

When I was single, I was taken to Isshin Nabe Honten for the first time, and I was surprised to see such a hot pot! It's been 2-3 years since I started coming to the Nishiin branch, where celebrities often visit. I've seen them too. On this day, four of us went to eat Isshin Nabe! Isshin Nabe is completely different from what you would imagine a normal hot pot to be. There seems to be a similar pot in Kyushu, but... my knowledge is limited. The round pot has square edges like a straw hat brim. At the restaurant, they mix lots of vegetables with meat, top it with tofu, and bring it to the table. You can eat plenty of vegetables as shown in the picture. The staff pours soup into the middle and explains the precautions. They instruct you to gradually add vegetables and meat to the center and eat it while simmering. The soup already has flavor, but there's also dipping sauce. There are also side dishes to enjoy while waiting. (Not included in the course) It's quite a deal to reserve a course at this restaurant. Although I've been here several times, this time I reserved a course for four people for the first time and ordered additional items to add to the pot. Despite drinking, eating, and ordering extras as usual, the bill was cheaper than ordering everything a la carte! The course includes mochi and a closing dish. You can choose between udon or okayu. Both are delicious! If you don't have preferences for offal, the Omakase Nabe course for 3200 yen (per person) is recommended. We reserved the Isshin Nabe course for 3000 yen (per person) for four people. It includes beef loin but no offal, so we ordered our favorite offal as an extra. The bubbling pot with plenty of vegetables, meat, offal, tofu, etc., pairs well with the unique broth. The dipping sauce goes well with a slightly spicy beer. We ate the mochi and okayu for the closing dish and were satisfied! I want to have a lively time with everyone again... How long do I have to wait... It's the delicious season for hot pots. It's a hot pot that I want to eat again. Thank you for the meal.

I went there yesterday. When the hot pot first arrived, I thought I had never seen such a pot before and wondered what it would taste like. But surprise, surprise, it was incredibly delicious! The finishing touch with champon noodles and ojiya was also outstanding! I will definitely go back again!

The weather has been getting warmer these days, or rather hot to the point that wearing a suit feels uncomfortable, and I suddenly felt like having hot pot. So, I remembered Ishin where I visited the other day and decided to write about it. On this day, it was a gathering for those celebrating their birthdays in the same month at work. The attendees ranged from their 20s to 50s, and it was a group of members I don't usually see together. Since we don't organize such events ourselves, it was a delightful initiative. As for the food, we had the recommended course menu along with some individual dishes. Regarding the hot pot, as mentioned in other reviews, we were completely satisfied and full. However, the conversation ended up taking the spotlight, so next time, I'd like to leisurely enjoy the hot pot. Thank you for the meal.

We went for a last-minute reservation on a weekday night with two people. Since it's a hot pot restaurant, I think reservations are often necessary. We had the 3000 yen course for the Ishin Nabe. The hot pot, shaped like an octagon, was filled with Japanese beef loin, plenty of vegetables, and a delicious sauce. It's simmered in the tasty sauce and then dipped in a sweet sauce. The bean sprouts, green onions, and cabbage are delicious. The Japanese beef loin is tender and flavorful with a sweet oiliness. The tofu has a smooth texture and is delicious when piping hot. It tastes like yakiniku in a hot pot, which is quite addictive! After enjoying the hot pot, there's mochi, champon noodles, and okayu waiting for you, so it's quite a filling meal. The champon noodles and okayu make for a fantastic finish, leaving you feeling satisfied! It's great in the cold season, but it's also a stamina-boosting delight in the hot season! Thank you for the meal.

I have frequented the unique Kyoto hot pot restaurant "Isshin Nabe" multiple times. They serve a hot pot dish where you gradually add beef, vegetables, and tofu monjayaki-style into the pot while eating. It's a unique style, but incredibly delicious. I will definitely revisit this restaurant when I have the chance. Thank you for the delicious meal!
