I knew about the existence of the store but it was my first time entering. The entrance is hard to see when cars are parked, so I feel like I'm missing out. It was 20 minutes before closing time, but there was quite a variety of bread available. I bought a walnut and cranberry bread for 250 yen, a rye and dried fruit bread for 150 yen, a mini baguette for 140 yen, and a croissant for 120 yen. There were also sweet bread available, but what caught my eye were the bread with less sugar and fat displayed prominently on the central table, and they looked very deliciously baked. The baguette seemed unimpressive at first glance, but I mistakenly bought it thinking my husband signaled that we didn't need it. It seemed like the baking temperature was too low, even a regular electric oven would bake better. But the flour was good, so I give it 3.0 stars. Regarding the baguette, I felt that they used better quality flour compared to another bakery I visited recently. The croissant, however, all ten of them were uniformly chocolate-colored. I thought, "What a strange color?" but I didn't think they would sell something burnt like that, so I wondered if there was something mixed in or painted on them. Maple croissant? Chocolate croissant? I was overthinking it, they were just burnt. (-_-;) Compared to onikuma's photo of the croissant, it looked completely different in color, right? It was so burnt that it was inedible. Selling something like that is unacceptable. This is 2.0 stars. The pale baguette and over-burnt croissant, was the oven malfunctioning? However, the cranberry bread was incredibly delicious! 3.6 stars. This taste offsets the two negatives. When you chew, you can taste the delicious flavor of the flour. The cranberries are plentiful and for 250 yen, it's a great deal. The rye bread also had a soft and fluffy texture with raisins and orange peels scattered throughout, which added a nice accent. 3.4 stars. The prices are affordable, and from the display and customer service, I found it very easy to make a purchase. If I had only bought the other two items without the baguette and croissant, I would have rated it 3.5 stars as "the best in the area!" On the other hand, if I had only bought the baguette and croissant, I would never visit again with a rating of 2.5 stars. I hope they have the courage not to display failed products on the shelves for the sake of immediate profit. I would like to try buying again, but next time I will definitely not overthink it.
