I had lunch with my husband at a Japanese restaurant called "Mokki" located inside the KKR Hakata hotel near our home. We usually have lunch at a Western-style restaurant called "Arkamon", but this time we were attracted by the words "special autumn lunch" and decided to try Japanese food. We had made a reservation in advance, so we were able to enter, but the restaurant was full and it seemed that customers without reservations were being turned away. The dish we had reserved was called "September Limited Autumn Color Jubako (Autumn Leaves)", which came in a three-tiered box with a sea bream dish, among other visually appealing dishes. The meal included fish, meat, chawanmushi, chestnuts, tempura, and ended with a delicious black sesame pudding for dessert. Everything was delicious, and we were very satisfied with both the taste and portion sizes. I decided that I should not only frequent Western-style restaurants, but also visit Japanese restaurants from time to time.

It was a rainy day, but I was able to enjoy a relaxing lunch time with a view of a lovely garden from the window. The dishes had elegant seasoning and were delicious, with a variety of small but tasty items to enjoy. The dessert was a satisfying custard pudding. Overall, it was a meal with a satisfying content.

Today I had a lunch meeting with my mom friends. We exchanged information about our children who are preparing for exams. We had a mini kaiseki meal, which was reasonably priced with a coupon for ¥2800. The meal had a fall theme, and the saury was especially delicious. The matsutake mushroom didn't have much flavor, but considering the price, it was still a good experience to feel the autumn vibes. The atmosphere was nice, so it would be great for gatherings or special occasions.

Meeting at KKR Hotel Hakata in Yakuin, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City. Had lunch at "Wadzukuri Moegi" inside the hotel. The restaurant overlooks a beautiful Japanese garden through its large windows. We tried the limited-time "Sea Bream Set Meal" for 1,500 yen (tax included) in August and September. The set includes sea bream rice porridge, thinly sliced sea bream, chawanmushi, sea bream soup, rice, pickles, and dessert. The sea bream rice porridge comes with taro, burdock, and snow peas. The flavors are gentle and elegant. The thinly sliced sea bream is rolled with leeks and grated radish, served with special ponzu sauce. The chawanmushi and sea bream soup are also delicious and refined. It's a delightful set meal that truly allows you to savor sea bream. They also offer a Tamatebako Set Meal for 2,000 yen and a Mini Kaiseki for 3,500 yen. Takeout bento boxes are available for 1,500 yen or 2,500 yen (reservation required). The generous portions and elegant presentation would surely please female diners. For those who prefer Western cuisine, there is also Cafe&Dining Happy Hill inside the hotel.

I visited "Wasou Moeki" in Yakuin after a long time, it has been about a year since my last visit. They have reopened for business from June 1st. I received a DM offering their lunch special "Hanakago Gozen" (2500 yen) at a discounted price of 1500 yen. This restaurant's concept is to incorporate various food cultures and trends into traditional Japanese cuisine based on their original dashi. You can enter through a dedicated gate from the street and pass through a Japanese garden to reach the restaurant. The large windows inside offer a view of the beautiful Japanese garden. Ordered items: - Hanakago Gozen (1500 yen) - Aged fillet steak - Squid shumai and chicken sesame salad - Shrimp and chicken shellfish salad - Red fish miso grilled - Eel roll - Shrimp and shiitake mushroom simmered - Edamame tofu - Eggplant in Western style - Round ten honey simmered - Japanese sweets - Sweet vinegar chicken dumplings - Satsuma fried dish - Ayu Arima simmered - Other items: sashimi, conger eel minced pressed sushi, red miso soup, salted pudding, rice cake with red bean, milk crepe cake, 2 types of fruit The head chef of this restaurant trained in Kyoto, and the visually stunning dishes reflect that. The aged fillet steak was lean, tender, and had a healthy feel to it. The Japone sauce was also delicious. The sushi, despite using conger eel, had a delicate and easy-to-eat flavor with a slightly sweet seasoning. The lunch was not only satisfying in terms of portion size but also in terms of taste. Even at the regular price of 2500 yen, it offers great value for money. Becoming a member (free) here also means receiving regular DMs with special discounted offers.

Lunch at the Japanese restaurant "Washou Moegi" located in KKR Hotel Hakata in Yakuin, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City. The popular lunch option, "Washoku Buffet," priced at 1,850 yen, which includes a choice of 4 main dishes, appetizers, salad bar, rice dish, soup, and dessert, is currently on hold. However, takeaway bento boxes (1,500 yen/2,500 yen with reservation) are still available. This time, we tried the "Hanakago Gozen" for 2,500 yen (tax included). The meal included roast beef with summer vegetable salad, fried vegetables, three kinds of appetizers, grilled fish, and shrimp in a basket. The next course featured sashimi, assorted tempura, conger eel sushi, and red miso soup. For dessert, there was matcha mousse, seasonal cake, hojicha pudding, and two kinds of fruit, all of which were refillable. Coffee after the meal was also refillable. The restaurant overlooks a Japanese garden from its windows, providing a great value for the price.【Restaurant Name】Washou Moegi【Address】KKR Hotel Hakata, 4-21-1 Yakuin, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka【Business Hours】11:30-14:30 (L.O. 14:00), 18:00-21:00 (L.O. 20:30) *Please confirm【Closed】Irregular holidays *Please confirm※3-minute walk from Yakuin Odori subway station. 1-minute walk from Nanyakuin bus stop. This is a restaurant located on the first floor of Hotel KKR in Yakuin. I have been there once for lunch, where they offer a main dish with a buffet. This time, I visited with my relatives and we had a private table in a tatami room. The appetizers included sea urchin panna cotta and salmon spring rolls. The soup was conger eel and white asparagus. The sashimi was decent. The grilled dish was miso-grilled Isaki fish. This was followed by steamed dishes and tempura. The tempura was crispy and delicious. I love prawns, so I was happy to see them on the menu. We also had red miso soup, conger eel sushi, and tofu rare cheesecake. We left feeling full and satisfied. If you dine here, you can enjoy free parking for up to three hours. Thank you for the meal.

This is a Japanese restaurant on the first floor of KKR Hotel that has recently switched to a buffet style. I visited with my family, including children. They were having a Kikuchi Fair featuring dishes and ingredients from Kumamoto. The menu includes a set meal with sashimi, buffet with a choice of main dish, and a kids' lunch for 650 yen. I opted for the buffet with a choice of main dish on weekends for 2000 yen. The buffet presentation was beautiful, with cute small dishes. They offered dishes like mixed rice, simmered noodles, vegetable tempura, and Kumamoto's spicy lotus root. There were also mini desserts and self-serve coffee and tea. For the main dish, you can choose from 4 types of fish. Overall, it was a good value for the price on weekends. The menu seemed to cater more towards women. Despite being a buffet, the calm atmosphere of the restaurant allowed us to relax and enjoy our meal. There were many families with children, so it felt family-friendly. Thank you for the delicious meal.

This restaurant is located inside the KKR Hotel. It is on the first floor, and you can enter directly into the Japanese restaurant. Being inside a hotel, it has a very calm and luxurious atmosphere. If you dine here, parking is free for a few hours. I think there was a minimum spending amount required. This restaurant offers a buffet-style appetizer selection followed by choosing a main dish. They had both fish and meat options. I ordered the tofu cream stew, which was light and nutritious. It had a gentle flavor and was delicious. I was happy that they served grated yam on rice. The presentation and serving dishes were top-notch, just as you would expect from a hotel restaurant. Everything was delicious, stylish, and elegant. The price is reasonable considering it's a hotel restaurant. You can also enjoy the view of the garden and have a relaxing lunch. I would love to go back again! Thank you for the wonderful meal!

It's a Japanese restaurant on the first floor of KKR Hotel, less than a 5-minute walk from Yakuin-Odori Station. The restaurant has table seating and private rooms at the back, with a relaxing atmosphere and a view of the garden. They offer a lunch set with a choice of four main dishes, along with appetizers and desserts in a buffet style for 1800 yen. The appetizers are beautifully presented on individual plates, not all served on one big platter. The black bean and kuri salad was delicious. I chose the braised pork as my main dish, which was tender and flavorful. They also have tempura and chirashi sushi available. The carrot pudding for dessert was very tasty, I ended up having two servings. It's a calm and leisurely place to enjoy a meal. If you dine in, you can get free parking for two or three hours, I can't quite remember. Thank you for the meal.

This time, I went to "Moegi" for lunch with a friend. Child-friendly lunch♪ The restaurant is located on the 1st floor of KKR Hotel in Yakuin. You can enter from the hotel or from the side of the hotel. The interior is made in a calm Japanese style. ⚫Obanzai bento (1380 yen) The bento box looks more attractive than a regular bento. It comes with mixed rice, green tea soba, red miso soup, and various items in wooden drawers. On the top left tier, there was something like stick chicken dipped in sesame sauce. On the bottom left, there were fried foods and rolled omelette. On the right tier, there was vegetables with sauce. Everything was delicious. It's satisfying to try a little bit of everything. The wooden box that the food came in was also visually appealing. The cozy atmosphere is lovely, and there were two other families with children, so I think it's a popular spot for families. The prices are reasonable, so I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

There are two favorite bakeries in this area, so I went to buy bread on this day, but the surrounding coin parking was full due to many construction vehicles. I ended up having lunch here while parking at the KKR Hotel parking lot. If you use this place, you get 3 hours of free parking. There are cafe options in the hotel as well, but I'm not sure if the same conditions apply. I used this place with a friend a while back, but I didn't write about it at that time. The restaurant has table seating, counter seating, and private rooms in the back. The lunch menu has several options, but I chose the "Weekly Special Obanzai Bento" for 1380 yen. The 3-tiered container is stylish and the presentation is lovely. Most female customers ordered this. The bottom drawer contains dishes like "Dashimaki Tamago," "Duck," "Chicken Karaage," "Kumquat Sweet Simmered," and "Sesame Tofu," all carefully prepared and delicious. The top left section has "Steak" with tender meat and tasty sauce. In the middle section, there is a "Tomato-flavored Seafood Dish" with shrimp, squid, and clams in a soup-like style, but unfortunately, the taste didn't suit my preference. There is also "Root Vegetable Salad," "Pickles," and "Miso Soup." The rice had "Ume Hijiki" mixed in. The content for the price is satisfying, but since it's a hotel restaurant, I think there is room for improvement in terms of service.

This is a Japanese restaurant located inside Hotel KKR Hakata. You can enter from the hotel lobby, but if you enter from the side street and pass through the Japanese garden, you will feel a majestic sense of luxury. Today, a group of 4-5 housewife friends gathered for a chat, so we used a private room. We were planning to spend around 2,000 yen for lunch, but to our surprise, we were overwhelmed by a 1,050 yen two-tiered meal set. The private room had tatami mats and low tables. The adjacent room was separated by sliding doors, and we could hear the sound of children running around. The seating was beautiful. We started by drinking tea and then placed our order. After a while, our lunches arrived simultaneously for each person. The meal consisted of rice, soup, pickles, chawanmushi, and a two-tiered box with 7 small side dishes, and even dessert. The sashimi was bonito, the grilled dish was saury, and the thick-fried tofu in sauce was particularly delicious. We were impressed by the luxurious presentation. The dessert was a mochi with kinako and black syrup. Although the portions of each dish were small, with 7 varieties, it was quite filling. The lunch we had, called "Yukari ~ Enishi," seems to have different contents and side dishes depending on the season. I thought the prices would be high because it's a hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent value for money. It was surprising to see only one review before mine. The restaurant is located near the famous "16 Quarters" (French confectionery) and along the Oshinamisaido Street, but the access may be a bit difficult. However, since it's a hotel, there is parking available. It seems like a hidden gem in a way.

I went to a Japanese restaurant called "Moegi" located in the KKR Hotel in Yakuin for lunch during this year-end season. Unfortunately, my printer broke down, and I still haven't sent out my New Year's cards. The restaurant is located along Yakuin Odori and offers a variety of lunch options such as the Yutari set, weekly special set, tempura set, sashimi set, Matsukado set, and daytime course. I tried the Yutari set which came with a two-tiered bento box filled with various side dishes, soup, rice, chawanmushi, and dessert. The dishes were delicately flavored and suitable for older customers. Overall, the meal was delicious and elegantly presented. The restaurant also offers evening courses with fugu hotpot and other dishes starting from around 2500 yen.
