On my way home from work, I discovered a shop on the roadside and decided to stop by to buy some yakitori. I got 2 skewers each of negima, chicken liver, and gizzard for 862 yen. I quickly microwaved them at home for about a minute and enjoyed them with my current favorite drink, a gin and soda. The saltiness of the skin was perfect and really delicious, making the alcohol go down smoothly. The sauce was also tasty and added to the overall enjoyment. It was a great deal and I felt like I was in a yakitori restaurant.

The restaurant was supposed to close at 9 pm, but they happily accepted orders even 5 minutes before closing. This led to a couple stopping by to order, followed by another woman placing an order, resulting in a sudden increase in sales right before closing time. The pork had a lot of fat, but some people may like that. The chicken karaage was surprisingly crispy and crunchy, with a ball-like shape.

This is for takeout from a yakitori restaurant. I bought yakitori as a lunch substitute. They offer bento boxes as well, but I chose to buy individual yakitori items. I selected skewers of green pepper and minced chicken, leek and chicken skin, chicken wing, chicken tail, and half-fried "battakiri chicken". They wrap them in a paper bag, which is convenient because you can microwave them in the bag. Each item is skewered, making them easy to eat. I prefer salt seasoning, so I chose salted skewers, and they were delicious.

At 19:00, I stopped by the store and got a takeout. You can use the premium vouchers in Osaka city. I thought I could just go with a salad, but ended up getting a roast chicken bento with no salt. They didn't have tsukune, so I got seseri with salt instead. I also got two orders of gizzard with salt, and since they didn't have salt, I got them with sauce.

This is a yakitori restaurant located near the station in Gokamachi 9-chome. It specializes in takeout only.
■■■ Food ■■■
▼Chicken thigh skewer (with sauce) 129 yen (as of October 22)
It was served at room temperature. If you ask for it freshly grilled, they might give it to you. The sauce has a strong sweetness that I didn't like.
▼Chicken liver skewer 97 yen
The charcoal-grilled flavor is strong, and it's a bit dry.
▼Chicken and leek skewer (with salt) 129 yen
It has a strong saltiness and a taste of chicken breast.
▼Assorted fried chicken 600 yen
I couldn't tell which was which, but it seems to include chicken breast. The soy sauce-flavored chewy fried chicken doesn't have that sweetness.
▼Half fried chicken with spicy sauce 650 yen
Again, there is a strange sweetness... maybe mirin? Sugar soy sauce? No, it seems different. The chicken itself is juicy and delicious.
■■■ Conclusion ■■■
The prices are reasonable, but the taste wasn't to my liking. However, if you like this kind of flavor, I recommend it.

There are more takeout-only shops opening recently, and I called to reserve some fried chicken (3 types) as I was cutting it close to their closing time at 9pm. However, my plans changed and I arrived 20 minutes early. I was surprised to find that the fried chicken was already prepared and cold. In Tsuruhashi, they usually fry the chicken twice after you order, but here it seems like they just provide what has already been fried for the night. I wonder how their bento boxes are. I took it home and reheated it in the oven. It was only 500 yen and had a generous portion! It included thigh, karaage, and breast fried chicken. The breast was the most delicious. If it was freshly fried, I'm sure the thigh would have been tasty too. It's a type of dish that goes well with beer or as a side dish with rice. The menu seems to be the same across all their stores!

A specialty shop for fried chicken. Even when not freshly made, it tasted delicious when reheated!

It would be convenient to have fried dishes available as a single item. All the yakitori were delicious.
