I was worried because I saw reviews on Google and other sites giving it 2.5 stars, but when I actually went there, the food was delicious and I was very satisfied! For those who are planning to go, I went 20 minutes after opening and there were already quite a few people there, so I had to wait for about 10 minutes to be seated. The customer service was a bit hard to hear due to the sound of the hamburgers cooking, the music in the restaurant, and the masks for COVID-19 precautions, but it didn't bother me too much. If you are thinking of going, it might be better to go when you have some extra time!

I went to this restaurant because I saw it on Instagram and it caught my interest. I arrived at 10:30 as mentioned on Instagram for the ticket distribution, but it actually started at 11:20, so I had to wait. There were about 3 groups ahead of me in line. Inside the restaurant, there were counters where everyone was seated. The hamburg steak was very delicious with plenty of condiments. The steak was mostly rare, and you could cook it further to your liking. They told us we had 30 minutes to eat, so it was a bit rushed for me as I wanted to cook the steak thoroughly. The only downside was that the staff's service felt a bit cold and lacking in smiles. I don't think I'll go back for a second visit. They only accept cash or PayPay, no credit cards.

Is this really the best way to enjoy a hamburger? This is a simple impression that came to mind when leaving. The restaurant visited was "BeefMan", known for its charcoal-grilled hamburgers and kettle-cooked rice. At night, it is called "BeefMan Tenjin Nishidori Store". The lunch menu consists of a "Charcoal-grilled Hamburger Set (1,500 yen, tax included)" with only one type. The hamburgers are grilled over charcoal on a small table-top stove. The restaurant is popular for its slogan "Same price for up to 3 hamburgers". I remember seeing this method being trendy in Tokyo before, so I decided to try it out. The restaurant is located along a street facing the south side of the former Daimyo Elementary School. I visited at 11:35. Inside the restaurant, there is an L-shaped counter seat in front. There are also table seats in the back, but they seem to be unused during lunchtime. I was able to just make it in and sit down. (There were customers waiting outside after me...) Since there is only one lunch menu, when you sit down, miso soup is served without saying anything. The water is self-service. The staff's service was not very friendly. Their manner seemed a bit mechanical. After a while, three hamburgers were placed on the small stove in front of me. The staff explained, "You can eat it as it is, but please enjoy it cooked to your liking." The outside looked grilled, but the inside was completely rare. I tried cutting one open, and indeed... the inside was a rare rose-pink. (^_^;) I didn't come here today to eat raw meat. (laughs) I tried putting it back on the stove, but the charcoal heat was weak, so it took time to get a grilled color. The meat juices dripped before the cut part could be grilled solid, causing the smoke to billow. Is this the right way to cook a hamburger? It seems like the meat might end up dry. In the meantime, the miso soup that was served initially gradually cooled down. I felt pressured as if silently urged, "The miso soup will lose its flavor if it gets cold. Please eat it quickly while it's still warm." (ーー;) I wish they would consider allowing customers to order the miso soup at their own pace. (It seems like it's served first on purpose to increase turnover.) I had no choice but to break down the hamburger into smaller pieces on the stove to cook it more thoroughly. It was no longer a hamburger but more like a dry meatball... (ーー;) I tried it with various condiments in front of me. Rather than the taste, I was filled with a sense of disappointment and regret, thinking, "If the hamburger was cooked more thoroughly and enjoyed with warm miso soup, it would definitely be delicious..." It's a bit disappointing. There is certainly a lot of talk about it, but... I probably won't be coming back for a while. Thank you for the meal.

I had passed by this restaurant a few times in the past and was intrigued by their meat plate lunch. When I finally went to try it, I noticed a different signboard advertising a limited 50 servings of "Charcoal-Grilled Hamburger Steak Set." Since I didn't feel like searching for another place, I decided to give it a try. As I waited at the counter, I read through the instructions and descriptions of the condiments. The restaurant had many enticing features to build up expectations, but the food turned out to be quite ordinary. The rice cooked in a kiln didn't leave much of an impression, and the miso soup was lukewarm and lacking in quantity. The "Taste Treasure Egg" that I delicately picked up with my chopsticks cracked too easily, and the three hamburger steaks became a bit tough towards the end. The homemade condiments, however, were creatively prepared and delicious. Looking around the restaurant, I noticed many young customers who seemed to have come based on Instagram posts. It appeared that they had already reached the limit of 50 servings, as I saw them turning away incoming customers. The restaurant was not bad by any means, but it didn't quite live up to the high expectations. Thank you for the meal.

Charcoal-grilled hamburgers and pot-cooked rice are very popular and crowded, so they distribute numbered tickets. It's a place where lines form!!! The three hamburgers are a satisfying amount, made with fresh meat that can even be eaten medium-rare. The pot-cooked rice is all-you-can-eat, and you can enjoy changing the flavor with plenty of condiments while eating the delicious hamburgers! Especially the condiment of green onion soy sauce is amazing! ✨

On March 4, 2022, in Fukuoka's Tenjin area, the Beefman Tenjin Nishidori store has been revamped to offer a limited edition charcoal-grilled hamburger set with kettle-cooked rice. I visited the restaurant at the opening time of 11:30 and was able to get ticket number 35. The interior features a main counter with around 20 seats facing the newly opened kitchen, as well as about 10 tables with a total of around 60 seats. However, only the counter seats were being used for lunch service. Despite expecting a 40-50 minute wait for a seat in the second or third round, due to COVID-19 measures, it was not too crowded, and I was seated after 13:00. The meal includes up to three 90g hamburgers that can be cooked to your preference on a tabletop charcoal grill, as well as rice cooked in a kettle. The hamburgers are served rare on the grill, which can create smoke in the restaurant and prolong the dining time. Various condiments such as yuzu pepper, chili oil, garlic, miso, green chili, soy sauce, chive soy sauce, and herb salt are provided to enhance the flavors. The first hamburger is served with a special egg yolk on top, and the remaining hamburgers can be enjoyed with different condiments. Personal favorites were the green chili and herb salt.

When I arrived at the restaurant right at opening time, there were a few people already in line. The food was served immediately after entering, so I was able to eat right away. The meal was delicious and satisfying!
