Today is my dog's birthday. I heard there is a recommended restaurant where you can enjoy a meal with your dog, so I made a reservation and visited the restaurant "Teppan Dining Hakata Yakimon". Despite entering at 6:15 pm, the restaurant was almost full, with almost everyone in groups with their dogs. It was like a dog cafe (laughs). The restaurant had treats for dogs and a water server specifically for dogs, which was impressive. Since it is primarily a teppanyaki izakaya, we ordered tonpei-yaki, harami steak, grilled meat skewers (yam, enoki), and mentaiko rolled omelette. We also ordered the daily menu item for dogs, "Hanaajitori's hamburger" small size for 200 yen. The mentaiko rolled omelette was served in an impactful shape with a length of over 30 cm, allowing you to cut it into your preferred size. It was exciting. The tonpei-yaki was like an omelette with plenty of vegetables and no wheat flour. My wife particularly liked the harami steak, which went well with the Japone sauce. The main dish was the dog's "Hanaajitori's hamburger". It was properly cooled and ready to eat, with no seasoning as it was for dogs. The dog was delighted and quickly finished it. Finally, we requested a dog cake to celebrate the occasion. If you make a reservation well in advance, the restaurant can provide a cake that looks exactly like your dog using beans, potatoes, and other ingredients (the quality is amazing), but there is currently a 3-month wait. Since we couldn't get it in time, we celebrated with a standard cake. It's rare to find a restaurant where you can enjoy this much with your dog. I will definitely visit again with my dog. Tonpei at Yakimon...Yakimon, a teppanyaki dining located along Kiyomi Street in Shimizu. It's within walking distance from my home. I always see it from the outside, but it's a nice dining place. Even though I'm alone, I choose a table seat. It's a cozy bar indeed. I order a draft beer and a tonpei from the teppanyaki menu. I've had tonpei at various places, but it's rare to see such different recipes depending on the restaurant. This one is more like an omelette, it doesn't seem to use much flour. It's filled with plenty of ingredients. For my second drink, I have a highball. The total bill comes to 1690 yen, which I pay with PayPay. Thank you for the meal~

Boston Terrier is the staff's favorite shop♪ I finally got to visit this long-awaited place! The beef sagari cheese fondue, mentaiko-wrapped oysters and mushrooms in foil, and camembert cheese ajillo were all delicious, hearty, and reasonably priced. It was just amazing! I visited from Aichi Prefecture, so I can't come back right away, but I will definitely visit again, so thank you in advance!

I visited this restaurant for lunch and dinner in a row, and it happened to be the last night of the Heisei era! There were 9 humans and 5 dogs, and we put the most well-behaved one in a cart. They were all very good and didn't bark at all! The course was 3500 yen and it was all-you-can-drink! The dishes cooked on the hot plate kept coming one after another! I was impressed by the dog food. They had chicken, sweet potatoes, watermelon, and strawberries! How wonderful! And for the dog with allergies, they brought boiled pork separately. Amazing! There are pet-friendly restaurants, but there aren't many that are truly pet-friendly... The food was delicious and we had a great time chatting. I would love to go again. So would my dog Kouchan!

I ordered the hamburger lunch set, which came with salad, soup, a drink, and unlimited rice for 800 yen. Inside, the shelves are lined with bottles of alcohol. I feel like having a drink now! The restaurant was not very spacious, with counter seats surrounding the teppanyaki grill and a few large table seats behind. I enjoyed watching the food being cooked on the grill, it was a sight that never got boring. Soon, a simple consomme soup was served followed by the main dish - a surprisingly large and flavorful steak served with a side salad. The meat was spicy and tender, with a yogurt marinade making it moist. It paired well with beer. I don't remember the exact lunch price, but I remember thinking it was a good deal for the quality of the food. I visited the restaurant a few more times for lunch and noticed that it was popular among office workers. The reason I gave the food and taste a 3-star rating is because I always ended up with leftover rice. It's not that the rice wasn't delicious, but I felt like one more side dish would have made the meal perfect. The dinner menu also caught my eye, with a selection that seemed perfect for pairing with alcohol. I hope to visit for dinner one day.
