This time, I ordered the Banana Custard Brulee Souffle Pancake with Chocolate Ice Cream. It's delicious, but one cup of coffee is definitely not enough, haha. I went to Hoshino Coffee on the second floor of Hankyu Sanbangai. The atmosphere felt more like a hidden gem compared to other Hoshino Coffee locations. Today, I tried the Uji Gyokuro iced tea for 580 yen including tax. I usually drink coffee or black tea, but since they have Gyokuro on the menu, I'll be sure to order it more often from now on.

I arrived at the store around 3 o'clock on Saturday. Everywhere in Umeda was crowded with people, and there was a long line here too. Luckily, there was a chair available so I sat down and waited. I ended up waiting for an hour and a half... I had the strawberry shortcake parfait for 600 yen. Thank you for the meal.

The atmosphere of the shop is nice, and it is very comfortable as long as customers with a lack of morals do not come. My favorite is the Hikoboshi blend, but there is also a Blue Mountain blend available. I usually don't drink Blue Mountain if it's a blend, but I decided to try it for the first time. It was easy to drink but lacked depth compared to Blue Mountain. Next time, I will stick to the safe choice of Hikoboshi blend.

I couldn't forget the delicious Hoshino spaghetti I had at the Tennoji store, so I came to the Hankyu Sanbangai store! It's a bit hidden in the corner, but that makes it a hidden gem where you can relax. The Hoshino spaghetti costs 930 yen including tax. It has perfect pasta texture and a flavoring of garlic and red pepper that I love! It's filled with plenty of vegetables like onions, eggplant, shimeji mushrooms, greens, and tomatoes, along with bacon. When you mix in the onsen egg on top, it's the best! I'm also curious about the souffle dorayaki.

Located on the 2nd floor of Sanban-gai in Umeda, next to Franc Franc, is "Hoshino Coffee Shop". The atmosphere is chic, with slightly dim lighting. The seats are divided by walls, giving a sense of privacy. I chose a seat in the back separate area that was available. Surprisingly, they also have a lunch menu. Food and sweets are available until 2 pm for an additional 300 yen with a drink (limited selection). Regardless of the time, the second cup of coffee is half price, and you can change the type of coffee. I was tempted by the souffle pancakes, but I chose the Vanilla Souffle with chocolate sauce. It takes about 20 minutes to bake, but I had time today. The coffee was served at the same time. It's not too crowded, so you can relax here. It's surprisingly quiet for Umeda, but then you feel the vibration of the Hankyu train passing by. It's Sanban-gai, so it's inevitable. It feels like a private room, great for work or reading! After 15 minutes, the iced coffee arrived in a copper-colored cup, giving off a retro vibe. It was well chilled, with a strong bitterness and delicious taste. Soon after, the Vanilla Souffle arrived with a generous amount of chocolate sauce. The texture was crispy and fluffy, with a gentle sweetness. The hot and fluffy dessert paired perfectly with the cold iced coffee. The chocolate sauce added a delightful bittersweet flavor. The nearby young men in their twenties praised the French toast and pancakes, saying it was delicious. Sweet tooth approved!

I used it during the morning hours as I had a schedule first thing in the morning. Decaffeinated coffee 480 yen (tax included) The taste is comparable to regular coffee, with bitterness and richness. During the morning hours, toast and boiled eggs are included in the price of the drink. The seats have high partitions, ensuring privacy. I visited during lunchtime. I had French toast and iced coffee (set for 1000 yen including tax). During lunchtime, the drink is a little cheaper when ordered as a set with a meal. The French toast was moist and fluffy all the way through. The whipped cream on top was not too sweet, and the waitress brought maple syrup for me to adjust the overall sweetness to my liking. On the final day of my trip to Kyoto on May 22, I headed to Osaka. After visiting Abeno Harukas and Dotonbori, I returned to Umeda for some relaxation. I found myself at the second floor of Hankyu Sanbangai. Unfortunately, there were no power outlets at Hoshino Coffee where I wanted to charge my phone. It was a hot day, so I ordered an iced coffee regular size for 480 yen, along with orange juice and apple juice, also for 480 yen each. The drinks were served in just 5 minutes. The iced coffee was described on the menu as a special blend with a balanced combination of body, bitterness, and richness. I should have read the menu more carefully before ordering. Upon tasting it, I found the coffee to be deeply roasted with a strong bitterness, which was not to my liking. I immediately added sugar and milk to balance it out. I spent a relaxing 1 hour and 40 minutes there. Now, it's time to head to Shin-Osaka! Thank you for the meal.

I visited Hoshino Coffee Shop, where I have been a few times before, because I heard they have a large cream soda. I was excited as I didn't remember it being on the menu before. The cream soda was not jumbo-sized but quite big. It had a good amount of melon soda despite the large amount of ice. It had a unique sherbet topping, which I tried first and enjoyed. I finished it surprisingly quickly! The taste was consistently delicious. The semi-private seating area was cozy and comfortable, making me want to come back again. Thank you for the meal!

The pancake plate remains the same, but the main dish changes at Hoshino Coffee... a winter recommendation. Spaghetti, omurice, and doria, classic Western dishes are all available. It's cold, so I chose the hot doria. This doria is a special dish with beef tongue stew added to the rice. The doria is coated with a fluffy soufflé and served with a small plate of vegetables and mini pancakes. The maple syrup gives off a sweet aroma. During weekday lunchtime, you can add a drink for only 300 yen. The thick soufflé is soft and cotton candy-like. When you dig in with a spoon, it slides smoothly all the way through... it's a delightful sensation. The soufflé's taste is elusive, but the doria part has a rich flavor, especially with the tender beef tongue stew contrasting with the soufflé egg. You can also enjoy the famous soufflé pancakes in a smaller size. The whipped butter is drizzled with maple syrup. When you put the fork in, it feels like sinking into a soft and moist sensation, similar to sitting on a cozy sofa. It's a relaxing time in a quiet and tucked-away spot. The atmosphere is calm, somewhat retro, or rather like a typical coffee shop ☕️ The interior is suitable for spending time alone, but it was crowded on the weekend (^^;; The souffle in the souffle doria is fluffy! ( ˙⃘˙⃘)♡ With mozzarella cheese inside, the cheese stretches out beautifully! The beef tongue stew itself is delicious, and it was perfect with the fluffy souffle on the doria ☺️ The portion size is just right! It also comes with a few vegetables!

I wanted to eat pancakes but also have lunch, so I went to Hoshino Coffee where I could enjoy both souffle and a meal. The cafe has a retro atmosphere with a sophisticated vibe. I was happy to sit on the sofa. I ordered the cream soup spaghetti and pancake set. It came with coffee for 1,180 yen. It was nice to have a variety of coffee options, including decaf. The al dente spaghetti with sauce was delicious. I topped the pancakes with plenty of maple syrup for a sweet treat. The pancakes were fluffy and sweet inside. It was a relaxing time.

I fell in love with the menu sample in the storefront window. In the current situation of the coronavirus pandemic, each table in the separated interior of the restaurant provides a safe and secure dining experience. The floor, walls, and ceiling are all unified in a calm dark brown color. The pendant lighting and spotlights create a very moody atmosphere. Although I had already decided what to eat before entering, I found myself hesitating when I looked at the menu again. I ultimately stayed true to my initial choice and ordered the Souffle Doria, but secretly decided to try the Egg Topped Meat Sauce next time. The Souffle Doria was served in a bright red dish, with steam rising from the fluffy souffle. The dish was so hot that I had to be careful not to burn myself. I first tested the bounce of the souffle with a spoon - it was truly fluffy. When I took a bite, I could taste the savory cheese flavor. Digging further into the dish, I found a goldmine - it was ketchup rice with ham and shimeji mushrooms as the main ingredients. Being cautious not to burn my tongue, I savored each bite. The combination of white sauce was excellent, and the portion size was satisfying. I added an iced coffee for an extra 250 yen, making the total cost 1,243 yen including tax. In times when evening expenses are reduced, I think it's okay to indulge a little with such a luxurious lunch. Bon appétit!

I went after work! I had a seasonal French toast topped with Mont Blanc. When I tried to eat it, the Mont Blanc quickly fell off! (laughs) It seems like it was a perfect balance! French toast goes well with ice cream, right! It was delicious! This restaurant seems to be in a hard-to-find location, but there is always a line! It was my first time going there! It feels a bit like a hidden gem, which is nice! And as I was leaving the restaurant, there was another line... I definitely want to go back again.

I went to the Hoshino Coffee shop after a long time to confirm if they still had the Egg Slatt for breakfast, even though I thought they might not have it anymore. To my disappointment, not only was the Egg Slatt gone, but the breakfast menu had deteriorated completely. It was just toast with boiled eggs, with optional toppings like sweet red bean paste, blueberry jam, and raw chocolate for an additional 100 yen each (I thought they would be spreads for the toast, but there was no mention of any other toppings). I lost my appetite for breakfast, so I decided to have an early lunch instead. The staff's lack of efficiency in taking a simple order made me even more frustrated. It's just a brand name without any substance now. Melting mozzarella cheese souffle risotto with rich porcini cream and a drink (Hoshino blend).

Hoshino is always crowded but it's worth it for lunch or coffee. The blend coffee is explained well, so I was able to choose the right one. The pancakes and cakes were delicious. The seating is spacious, so it's a great place to relax after shopping. I always come here spontaneously, but I'll leave it to chance next time. Thank you for the meal!

I stopped by to chat with a friend. It's located under Hankyu Umeda Station. There were about 5 people in line, but we waited for about 15 minutes to get in. The seats separated by glass partitions are very nice for privacy. I called the staff with a button and had a cafe latte first. Then I had the strong bitter Hikoboshi blend for my second cup. Both were delicious. It's also great that the second cup is half price. This is a coffee shop recommended for long stays.

I visited the café for a morning gathering and it was almost full by 10 o'clock. I ordered iced coffee and beer this time. The menu was quite extensive, with soufflé-style doria and pancakes being famous here. I had them before at a different branch and they were delicious! I hope to come back and try them here next time. Since I haven't had a chance to fully evaluate it yet, I'll give it a 3 out of 5 for now.

I came to Umeda, but it was crowded with people during the consecutive holidays...(*´-`) I wandered around and stumbled upon the mysterious second floor of Hankyu Sanbangai, where I found Hoshino Coffee. Since I was hungry, I decided to skip the sweets and ordered pasta instead! The Napolitan had a generous portion size and really satisfied my hunger (*´∇｀*) They have a variety of light meals in addition to sweets, so it could be a nice hidden spot to escape the hustle and bustle of Osaka and relax.
