Before, there was a teppanyaki restaurant called Bebe along the Yakushin Kokutai-doro, but now it has moved and reopened in Shirokane. The seating arrangement is like semi-private rooms with teppanyaki grills set up at each table. There are also tatami seating, regular tables, and a counter, making the restaurant quite spacious compared to before. The atmosphere has completely changed. The appetizer was the usual pasta sticks. First, we tried the popular original monjayaki, the Ham Cheese Mentaiko Baby Star Monjayaki for 1280 yen. The staff prepares it for you. The preparation and serving were very quick, which was great as we were hungry. The taste was also satisfying. We also tried the Seafood Yaki Meshi for 850 yen. It was a delicious fried rice with plenty of seafood like squid, shrimp, and sazae, along with a fragrant shiso flavor. Unlike other fried rice dishes where the toppings are just placed on top, this one was mixed in, enhancing the seafood flavor throughout. It was a big hit. The teppanyaki-style Napolitan for 850 yen was served sizzling hot on the iron plate. It was packed with ingredients like sausage, onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms. The crispy onions were particularly delicious. For dessert, they offered complimentary cotton candy, and we also tried the Bebe Parfait for 620 yen, which was a luxurious combination of gateau chocolat, cheesecake, vanilla ice cream, orange, apple, yogurt, and golden kiwi. It was delicious and reasonably priced. Overall, the food was of high quality, reasonably priced, and the restaurant was well-managed with good customer service. Highly recommended.
