Located on the second floor of a mixed-use building between Ikejiri Ohashi and Sangenjaya. I visited around 8 pm on a holiday. The restaurant was full, with a wait for one group. Luckily, after about a 10-minute wait, we were seated. We ordered the following dishes: - Soy Sauce Yakisoba (950 yen): Thin, firm noodles with a great texture, and a delicious soy sauce flavor. - Chicken Wing Gyoza (600 yen for 2): Juicy gyoza filling stuffed inside crispy chicken wings. - Xiao Long Bao (700 yen for 4): When you break the skin, the soup inside oozes out, with a flavorful meaty taste. - Sweet Black Vinegar Stir-Fried Pork Loin (980 yen): Tender pork loin sticks with a sweet black vinegar sauce. - Pan-Fried Gyoza (550 yen for 6): Homemade thick and chewy skin with a meaty filling. - Garlic Sprout and Clam Bean Paste Stir-Fry (980 yen): Crunchy clam and garlic sprouts in a spicy miso sauce. - Cola (400 yen). Everything was delicious, but the highlights were the Soy Sauce Yakisoba, Xiao Long Bao, and Sweet Black Vinegar Stir-Fried Pork Loin. Even after 9 pm, the restaurant was still busy, showing its popularity. The atmosphere is like a Hong Kong diner, perfect for enjoying a lively meal with friends. I definitely want to go back again!

Pre-gig meal at a restaurant in Sangenjaya, a place I haven't been to since my student days. Originating from Hong Kong, this eatery specializes in Chaozhou-style noodles. I ordered the shrimp wonton noodles with thin egg noodles and a small portion of fried rice. The shrimp in the wontons was firm and delicious, paired with the Hong Kong-style noodles. The menu is extensive, so I definitely want to come back to this place.

Shrimp wonton, char siu, and beef belly noodles without soup, Hong Kong-style noodles with pan-fried dumplings. The dumplings seemed to have been pre-cooked and then reheated by frying. The taste of the dumplings was not bad, but there was a complete lack of hot temperature. It was 3 pm on a holiday, not even during the peak lunch hours, so it was unacceptable.

I had lunch at a Hong Kong cuisine restaurant. It has been a while since I last visited Hong Kong, so I was happy to enjoy some authentic Hong Kong cuisine. I ordered the black vinegar chicken with mini ramen set. It was similar to sweet and sour pork, but with chicken instead. The sweet and savory sauce was strong, overpowering the taste of the chicken. The rice was a bit too tempting, leading me to overeat. For an additional 100 yen, I could change the mini ramen to Hong Kong noodles. The mini ramen came with a clear broth and Hong Kong noodles, but it reminded me of clam soup for some reason. It had one slice of char siu, which had a slightly unfamiliar taste to me. I had been expecting shrimp ramen, so it was quite different. I hope to visit Hong Kong again soon.

A friend had visited this place in the past, so we checked the menu in advance. The restaurant has a lot of small dishes and the fact that they offer noodles without soup is great. The main branch is in Hong Kong, but they have a branch in Japan as well, operating for 29 years. We met outside around 1:30 and took the elevator to the second floor. The restaurant was bright with windows on two sides, and the tables were quite close together. We arrived for a late lunch, and the place was about forty percent full. We were greeted by friendly staff and were seated at a table for two. We found a daily lunch special on the outdoor menu, which we didn't see on their website. Since they had sweet and sour pork on Thursdays, we decided to go for that along with three small dishes. The grand menu also looked good. My friend ordered the daily black vinegar chicken set, while I opted for the shrimp wonton as an addition to a half ramen. The half ramen was served first, followed by the additional shrimp wontons. The wonton skin was soft and sweet, with a smooth shrimp filling that was not too overpowering. The Hong Kong-style noodles in the ramen were quite thin, and the soup was light and salty, with bok choy and char siu. I prefer soy sauce flavor, so I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't available. The noodles got soggy as I took my time eating. The three small dishes arrived - the char siu was juicy with a strong Hong Kong flavor, the bok choy was refreshing, and the daikon radish had a lack of radish but came with chili sauce. The black vinegar chicken stir-fry was served with rice. Both dishes were simple and tender with no strong flavors. The almond jelly dessert was soft. After the meal, I found the restroom near the entrance, where there was warm Chinese tea available in self-service paper cups. I didn't notice it when I entered, but it was a nice surprise. The meal, including rice, half ramen, and dessert, for only 900 yen was a good deal. The fact that they have been in business for 29 years and have several branches in Japan after the Hong Kong store closed down shows that they have adapted their flavors to suit Japanese tastes. The restaurant has a casual cafe-like atmosphere with a wide variety of small dishes and daily specials, which is a nice touch of Hong Kong style. The staff were friendly and had a good vibe. Thank you for the meal. Takeout is available.

Having lunch at Sancha was quite a pleasant surprise! I pondered for a moment on what to eat, and then I came across this unfamiliar Hong Kong noodles dish. The thin noodles paired well with the flavorful soup, and it also went great with the beef belly rice. I can see why it's in the top 5000 on Tabelog. It was a satisfying meal indeed!

I visited the restaurant on a Sunday around 2 PM. The place was crowded with four people, so I had to wait a bit, but I got seated fairly quickly. I ordered the Hong Kong noodles, which are known for being full of ingredients. The noodles were very thin and had a unique taste. It was delicious, but I don't think I would come back again.

It had been a while since I last went. The soy sauce yakisoba was absolutely delicious, that's why I went to eat it. I wanted to order various dishes like stir-fried bean sprouts and hollow heart vegetable, but the opportunity was lost. It was disappointing that the xiaolongbao, fried rice, and yakisoba were not warm. I wished they were hot so I could enjoy them.

Located between Sangenjaya and Ikejiri-Ohashi, the Misuku intersection is a standout spot with a neon sign that shines brightly at night, rivaling the Matsuya on the first floor. Curious, I looked it up and found out that this place is ranked in the top 5000 on Tabelog! I happened to visit this place when I had some business at Showa Women's University nearby. The interior of the restaurant is cozy, with tables lined up closely like in a family restaurant. There are only about 3 seats at the counter, and the atmosphere is more suited for larger groups. The diverse clientele makes it a great place for solo drinkers, as everyone is focused on their own food and conversations, creating a carefree atmosphere. The service is incredibly fast, almost like they had everything prepared in advance. The efficiency of the staff, who seemed to be from Taiwan or China, added to the authentic vibe of the place. The menu offers a wide range of Hong Kong-style dishes, with flavors closer to the authentic taste rather than catering to Japanese preferences. The portion sizes are just right, not too overwhelming, making it easy for solo diners to enjoy a few dishes. I tried the signature Hong Kong noodles, which had a mild and slightly sweet curry soup that perfectly coated the thin noodles. It was truly delicious! Overall, this place is perfect for enjoying authentic Hong Kong cuisine while having a casual drink. I highly recommend it for a quick solo drink session!

I went to a famous Chinese restaurant in Sangenjaya. Shin Ki is a Hong Kong-style Chinese restaurant with good cost performance. The interior of the restaurant is not very spacious, with only about 7 tables, so it quickly becomes full due to its popularity. I was drawn to the system where you can choose 3 small dishes for 1,260 yen, so I ended up ordering a lot. The most delicious dish was the famous Hong Kong noodles, but I accidentally forgot to take a photo. I ordered the "all toppings" with wontons and char siu. The soup had a gentle taste with various flavors, and the extremely thin noodles like vermicelli were delicious. The fried rice with pork belly and egg was also incredibly tasty. I ended up spending a bit more than I intended because I drank too much alcohol, but this restaurant has very good cost performance. I definitely want to go there again. It was very delicious.

I've been wanting to experience Hong Kong instead of China, so I decided to visit Shin-ki Sanjuku store. When I arrived around 12:20, it was almost full. I was seated near the entrance that happened to be available. I ordered the E set lunch: shrimp wonton noodles (Hong Kong noodles), small fried rice, almond jelly for 1080 yen (980 yen for Japanese noodles), and a draft beer for 580 yen. When I placed my order, I was asked in a brusque manner, "Noodles? Soup?" giving me an Asian-style baptism. This also included in the Hong Kong experience. The fried rice arrived first after just a couple sips of beer. The fried rice with delicious char siu was crispy and tasty! Shortly after, the wonton noodles arrived. The noodles were extremely thin, which might be a hit or miss for some people. However, the soup was delicious. It was so tasty!! I finished off with the not-too-sweet almond jelly. It was delicious!

A Hong Kong noodle shop in Sanshuku that is within walking distance from Ikejiri Ohashi Station. It is located on the second floor. For just under 1000 yen, you can enjoy noodles, rice, and almond jelly, which seems quite luxurious. I had the wonton noodles, which had thin noodles with a salty soup that was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

I had the Lunch Menu A set (Wonton Noodles/Hong Kong Noodles, Pork Chop Rice, Almond Tofu) at a famous Chinese restaurant near my house for the first time. It was my first time trying Hong Kong noodles, and it was a unique experience with the thin noodles having a good texture. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also exotic, so people who like it may really enjoy it.

I visited a restaurant in Setagaya that accepts Seetaga Pay after a long time. I chose the Singapore Curry, which is available with beef or chicken. It has a taste similar to soup curry, which I really like. I also had the Cold Noodles, which was beautifully presented with shrimp, jellyfish, chicken, cucumber, and egg. It also had black vinegar in it, although I couldn't really taste it. Thank you for the delicious meal.

On a Friday evening in July 2023, after work, I enjoyed a drink. The Setagaya Pay cashback campaign is really helping to increase my drinking opportunities with its 15% to 20% cashback offer. It's hard to resist. I visited "Hong Kong Noodle Shin Ki Mishuku Main Store," a popular spot known for serving authentic Hong Kong cuisine. As someone with no particular attachment to Hong Kong, I wasn't sure what to expect from Hong Kong cuisine, but I was drawn to the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant. Despite being a popular spot, I was able to make a reservation for the evening, although walk-ins are also possible. The menu included a variety of dishes, and we ordered beer, lemon sour, Shaoxing wine, and a selection of small dishes. The stir-fried bean sprouts with garlic, steamed prawns in garlic sauce, and stir-fried pork belly with glass noodles were all delicious. The yakisoba with extra fine Hong Kong noodles was a standout dish with a unique sweet and sour flavor. Overall, the bill for two people came to 9,250 yen, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the authentic atmosphere of the restaurant. I look forward to visiting again.

We entered the restaurant as soon as it opened. Three of us, colleagues from work, enjoyed the meal together. Every dish was delicious and the portion size was just right. The cost performance was excellent. We were talking about how this place will become our go-to restaurant in the future. Thank you for the wonderful meal. We will definitely come back again.

On July 17, 2023 (Tuesday) at 12:39, I entered the restaurant as a party of one. The place was almost full, and I was seated at the counter. I ordered the E set with fried rice and shrimp wonton noodles for 1,250 yen. The fried rice arrived first, and it was delicious with a satisfying texture. When the shrimp wonton noodles arrived, I used a small plate as it was hot. The noodles were also delicious, and surprisingly filling. Overall, I had a good experience and would consider coming back next time.

Setagaya-ku campaign with setapay 20% point reduction participating store. Seen on TV, etc. A restaurant where you can eat Hong Kong noodles. I wanted to try their Hong Kong noodles, so I visited. I registered with setapay, so it was a good deal. Ordered the E set (with soup, Hong Kong noodles) for 1250 yen. Arrived on a Sunday at around 11:23 AM and parked the car on a road with street parking. There was no line, waited in front of the store, and it opened right away. There were about 6 groups of customers until I left, and all the table seats seemed to be full. Looked at the menu and was a bit indecisive, but placed the order around 11:26 AM. The fried rice came at 11:29 AM, and the wonton noodles at 11:31 AM. Used setapay for payment when leaving. The fried rice was a bit firm with a slightly oily and salty taste. The wonton noodles in Hong Kong style were served in a small bowl, so the soup portion was also small (similar to eating tonkotsu ramen in terms of volume). The noodles had a nice chewy texture and the Hong Kong noodle flavor was good. The soup was okay, but I didn't like the unique smell of the noodles.

I tried Hong Kong noodles for the first time! It's like somen noodles. I'm not sure how it's different from somen. For lunch, I had noodles, half fried rice, and almond jelly for 980 yen. I couldn't resist ordering the hot and sour soup noodles, which had a unique taste. It was delicious though. The dry noodles that the person next to me was eating looked delicious as they were mixed with sauce. This place might become my go-to spot when I'm in Sangenjaya.

Monday Lunch II
Mapo eggplant, half ramen (Hong Kong style noodles), rice, almond tofu ¥900
Dumplings ¥700
The mapo eggplant is slightly spicy. The Hong Kong style noodles in the ramen are thin and have a chewy, rubbery texture. The dumplings are chewy, but next time I want to try the pan-fried dumplings. The almond tofu is quite subtly sweet.

I waited for about 20 minutes in front of the restaurant because it was full again that day! Whether it's the stir-fried vegetables, yakisoba, or seafood noodles, everything is delicious! If you feel like having Chinese food around Shibuya-Sancha, be sure to visit ShinKi! Since it can be fully booked, it might be a good idea to call ahead before going.
