The restaurant is long and narrow, with counter seats where you can see them grilling right in front as soon as you enter. I sat at the counter this time, so I don't know what the back looks like. I visited on a weekday lunchtime, and it was quite busy. There is always a savory and delicious smell of meat wafting around the counter seats. Ordering is done via a tablet, a new style. You can choose not only the hamburg steak but also the side dishes, and it's easy to understand the combinations. Additionally, for those who eat lightly, skipping rice or soup is also possible without changing the price, which is good for avoiding waste. There are several menu options, but this time I chose the 100% pork hamburg steak. I wonder what a hamburger without beef tastes like? I'm a little curious ^^ After a short wait, the hamburg steak arrived. Let's dig in. The 100% pork hamburg steak has a stronger meaty texture and a solid flavor than I imagined. However, it also has the sweetness typical of pork, so it lacks the hearty taste of beef and gives a mild impression. The meaty texture remains firm but with a soft texture. Since it is high-quality meat, there is no unpleasant smell, and the natural flavor and sweetness of the ingredients stand out. The sensation of the pork's umami spreading throughout the mouth with each chew is wonderful. The gentle umami of the meat and the soft texture are irresistible! Personally, I preferred it over 100% beef. If you prefer a soft texture and mild umami, you might like the pork hamburg steak better. This time, I added an egg topping. There are also cheese and other toppings to choose from. Without toppings, the price is reasonable, under 1,000 yen. I think it's a delicious and convenient restaurant to visit! The service was polite and I had a good impression. When I'm nearby again, I would like to eat this hamburg steak here ^^

I entered the restaurant just before the last order time for Saturday lunch. I was seated promptly, but there were only 1 or 2 empty seats at the counter. (I wonder if there are table seats at the back? I wasn't sure.) I ordered from the menu on an iPad. I had the Pork Burger Set for ¥1,100 with rock salt sauce (recommended by the restaurant), rice, and corn soup. The pork burger had a strong pork flavor and was very juicy, almost like a delicious sausage when eaten without sauce (complimenting it). The rock salt sauce was also tasty, but I preferred it as it was. The rice was just the right size, I think even women could finish it all (you can also upgrade to a large portion for ¥0 extra, so men should be satisfied too). I thought it was a good deal for ¥1,100. I will try other menu items next time!

The system to order is through a tablet. The Cheese Pork Burger set for 1280 yen was served in about 10 minutes. The set included salad, rice, and miso soup. The pork option didn't have many distinctive features, but it was easy to eat. It was tender, mild, and easier to eat than beef. It's a restaurant with good value for money that you can casually visit. I would like to revisit if I have the chance.

I visited Hamburg Labo-san! This is a must-visit place for hamburger lovers! The dinner menu is particularly attractive because you can choose from three types of hamburger patties. There are two options for lunch. I ordered the beef hamburger with cheese on top. The variety of side dishes that can be added to the set is quite extensive, making it possible to create your own original set, which is also attractive. The interior has a row of 8 counter seats, tables for 10 people at the back, and it seems there are also tatami mat seating. I made a reservation for 1 p.m. and visited, and it was quite popular with many tourists from abroad. While it seems possible to get in without a reservation, it's definitely better to make one. I ordered the collaboration set of pork and black wagyu hamburg set (¥2200). Each was 150g, with habanero-infused tomato sauce and demi-glace sauce. You can choose the doneness of the beef hamburger from medium to rare. The beef hamburger was thick and juicy. I tried a pork-only hamburger for the first time, and it was very light and lacked the meatiness, which was surprisingly delicious. The 100% beef hamburger had a very strong flavor, and I felt that the rich sauce like demi-glace matched well. Since it's a hamburger, I had no trouble eating a total of 300g. There are menus where you can specify the gram amount, so if you have room in your stomach, you might want to order more.

The salty flavor really complemented the rice. It's my favorite topping. I finished the large serving of rice in no time.

I went today to use up my points. I used 2000 points, so I ended up paying about 300 yen. I had a 180-gram pork hamburger with Camembert cheese topping, red miso soup, and extra rice. It looked amazing, with a whole piece of cheese on top. Even the cheese alone goes well with the rice, and eating it with the hamburger makes me really happy. I thought there was too much rice, but I managed to finish it easily. It was truly amazing.

I visited the restaurant for lunch with a friend. We arrived around 12:30 and were told there would be a wait, so we ran some errands and returned after 13:30, and were smoothly seated at the counter. The timing was good as most people at the back tables were finishing their meals. The chef's skill of kneading the hamburger in front of us without using a scale and knowing the weight by feel was impressive. Watching the well-shaped and voluminous hamburger being cooked on the hot plate made us even hungrier. I had the combo of pork and black wagyu hamburger, while my friend tried the BMC black wagyu hamburger! Both were exquisite with the perfect juiciness even at medium doneness. We enjoyed not only the black wagyu hamburger but also the deliciousness of the pork hamburger! I highly recommend it! My friend also praised their lunch with thick bacon covered in melted cheese. By the way, we quickly figured out that the 'B' in BMC stands for bacon, and 'M' stands for sunny-side-up egg. 'C' is, of course, cheese! The cute staff at the counter who checked us out with a smile was lovely too! It's a restaurant we definitely want to visit again!

Visited by making a reservation on the Tabelog website. It was full at 12:00 on Saturday afternoon. Pork hamburger is recommended here. There was also Wagyu hamburger, but I chose a set with diced steak. Recommended sauce is green onion salt. Comes with rice and red miso soup. By the way, ordered with a tablet. Takes about 15 minutes to cook. Can't wait. Hamburger has arrived. First tried it plain. Sweet! The sweetness of the meat is strong. Tried a bite with the sauce. It goes well with the green onion salt, but because the pork is sweet, I also wanted to try the demi-glace sauce. The diced steak also had a good beefy taste. Satisfying. It was good.

This is a restaurant that I visited a few times shortly after it opened when I was living in Kyoto. While there are other famous hamburger restaurants in Kyoto, I absolutely love the pork hamburgers here! The location is quite inconvenient at Shijo Nishi Koji (lol), a bit far from both Omiya Station and Karasuma Station, closer to Karasuma. I usually park at a coin parking lot and drive there. This time, I visited with my sister and mom, and we made a reservation in advance due to concerns. We arrived a bit early at 1 pm on January 4th, around 12:40 pm. The restaurant was full, so we had to wait a bit before being seated. We placed our order using a tablet, opting for the pork hamburger set with an additional raw egg over rice (TKG). We chose the red miso soup and teriyaki sauce. The total came to 1100 yen for the set and 280 yen for the TKG, totaling 1380 yen. I forgot the price of the TKG, sorry about that. The pork hamburger here is incredibly juicy, flavorful, and delicious! And it's affordable too! The teriyaki sauce is slightly soy sauce-heavy without being too sweet, making it a perfect match with the rice. I wish there was a branch closer to my place so I could visit more often! Please open a branch in Gotanda! It had been a while since my last visit, but I was extremely satisfied with the lunch! I rated it on Tabelog for lunch as follows: Taste 90 points, Presentation 85 points, Portion size 90 points, Value for money 90 points, Interior 85 points, Service 85 points, Overall 87.5 points. The evaluation criteria are: 0-49 points - Unbelievable, 50-69 points - Bad! The restaurant was fully booked. Orders were made through a touch panel on the table, allowing us to take our time deciding. We debated between choosing the black wagyu or Kyoto pork. We were served draft beer and a glass of Italian red wine first. I chose the black wagyu for the loco moco rice bowl. The hamburger was rich in flavor and topped with cheese. I ordered the C set with hamburger. I didn't realize I could choose two sauces, so I only asked for one, but the staff kindly came to confirm with me. The meat was juicy and very delicious, and I had a great time during lunch. I would like to visit again when I go to Kyoto.
