Domino's Pizza is a nationwide pizza delivery chain, and the Awaza store is located in Tachimawari, Osaka (a bit of a walk from Awaza Station or Nishi-Nagahori Station). The store has a few 4-person table seats next to the cashier, but it seems like takeout is the main option (they don't offer water for dine-in customers). There are long chairs for waiting in front of the cashier, giving the place a trendy fast-food restaurant vibe. When ordering, they asked for my name and phone number, which was a bit surprising. I bought the "Pizza Sandwich Charcoal-Grilled Chicken Teriyaki" for takeaway. It consists of firm buns like French bread with the toppings of a charcoal-grilled chicken teriyaki pizza inside (it was still hot from being baked in the pizza oven). It's not exactly pizza, but the crunchy texture of the buns and the sweet, juicy chicken teriyaki combination was quite delicious. At 550 yen + tax per piece, it may seem a bit pricey, but if you think of it as a high-end burger from a burger chain, it's not bad. They have various pizza sandwiches ranging from 450 yen to 650 yen, and you can also purchase regular Domino's Pizza menu items (convenient for takeaway). Brothers often have completely opposite personalities, right? I went out to eat with my quiet older brother, and then our younger brother joined us. The younger brother, who loves junk food, suggested going to the recently opened Domino's Pizza. Since we rarely see each other, we decided to eat together. The new store was clean and spacious, with seating areas, chairs to wait for the pizza, and even a restroom. We could see the kitchen, too, which was nice! You can choose the type of dough for the pizza, and we opted for the standard one. My older brother ordered a Margherita pizza, while the younger brother got one without tomatoes. Isn't a Margherita without tomatoes just a Margherita? The extra tomatoes went on my brother's pizza. The pizzas were ready in about 10 minutes and cost around 1800 yen for two. We took them home and enjoyed them together. It had been a while since I had pizza, and the taste was nostalgic. Although I'm not a big fan of delivery pizza, I was impressed by how much pizza has evolved over the years. It was not greasy and easy to eat! It was a nice treat. Pizza is a snack! Domino's Pizza has thick and delicious pizza crust. I got the teriyaki chicken pizza and Hawaiian pizza for takeout. Both me and my family love the pineapple and ham topping. Some people might say "eww" but we just don't get it.
