Where is a place in Osaka with a big Ferris wheel? They are particular about Tanba's ingredients and carefully bring out the flavor of the ingredients with a colorful presentation. The recommended dish is the Tanba (Ninona) satisfying plate. I chose the Kyoto Tanba Kogen pork assortment plate, while Mayu chose the Tanba black chicken assortment plate. Surprisingly, you can have unlimited rice and miso soup, plus all-you-can-eat side dishes! The side dishes are delicious, especially the sweet and savory simmered beans. There are also various dishes such as hijiki, spinach with white sesame dressing, koya tofu, okara, eggplant, and more, all of which are healthy ❤️❤️❤️ It's nice to be able to try a little bit of everything. The dressings and tea are recommended as they use Tanba black beans. For dessert, we had the standard French toast at Pompom San. It was a very pleasant time sharing with Mayu. Oh! I was happy to have a raw egg this season.

I had a lunch plate with all-you-can-eat Obanzai (Kyoto-style home cooking) included. The main plate was filled with plenty of vegetables, and you could have unlimited rice and miso soup refills. The main dish options were a plate of Kyoto Tanba Kogen pork or a plate of Tanba black chicken. They use ingredients from Tanba, so you can enjoy a healthy meal to your heart's content. After the meal, I had the fluffy French toast made with the chewy natural yeast bread from Panetteria Triton. I ended up overeating because of all the vegetables, but I would love to try a different plate next time.

Visited in November 2022. Went shopping at Lalaport EXPOCITY on a holiday. After shopping for a while, we had a late lunch. There were no appealing options at the food court, so we ended up at a restaurant area near the entrance of Lalaport... "Oyasaiyama Tannna Terao" as the name suggests, they use plenty of vegetables from Kyoto's Tanba region in their menu. In addition to the main dish, they offer around 6 side dishes, miso soup, dessert, and rice as all-you-can-eat. This restaurant is popular with my family because the vegetables are delicious. We ordered from our smartphones and then served ourselves the side dishes, miso soup, and rice. The side dishes for that day were white sesame salad, udo flowers, simmered dried radish, hijiki seaweed, five-bean mix, potato salad, and komatsuna and bamboo ring with vinegar miso dressing. They also had dressings for the vegetables like "black bean dressing," "lemon dressing," and "French dressing," so we chose lemon dressing and black bean dressing. The main dishes arrived in less than 10 minutes. - Oil-drenched chicken plate - Mushroom feast plate (for my family) ■ Oil-drenched chicken plate The plate includes a vegetable salad using Tanba-grown vegetables and oil-drenched chicken. We also had rice and miso soup on the side. We prepared our all-you-can-eat side dishes with 6 varieties! The oil-drenched chicken had a generous amount of sweet vinegar sauce with paprika instead of green onions. The all-you-can-eat side dishes included: - Hijiki seaweed - Udo flowers - Five-bean mix - Potato salad - White sesame salad - Komatsuna and bamboo ring with vinegar miso dressing There were not many options, but the quality of each side dish was high. Especially the udo flowers and white sesame salad were not common, so it was nice to have them available. The dressings for the vegetable salad were also self-serve. All dressings were homemade. This time, we chose lemon dressing and black bean dressing (for my family). I tried a bit of my family's and the black bean dressing had a rich sesame oil flavor and was delicious. We didn't have seconds of rice or dessert this time, but we'd like to visit again when we're hungry. It was delicious. Thank you very much.

It was a nice atmosphere in the restaurant. The staff were friendly. Many people were enjoying their meals, and they looked delicious. I visited for the cafe, and the French toast was quite sweet. It may depend on personal preference, but for me, it was a bit too sweet.

Visited in December 2021. Went shopping at the Lalaport EXPOCITY on this day. After lunchtime had passed, the food court was still crowded with no available seats, so we headed to the restaurants on the first floor. However, every place was also crowded, with KFC's buffet having a waiting list of 36 groups. In the midst of that, there was only a wait for 2 groups at this place. "Oyasaiyama Terao" - just from the name, it was hard to tell what kind of restaurant it was, but upon checking, it turned out to be a restaurant that mainly uses vegetables from Kyoto Tanba. The restaurant is operated by Terao Shoji, a company that runs supermarkets in Kyoto Tanba, and they seem to particularly focus on Tanba's ingredients. There was hardly any wait in front of the store, so we wrote our names on the waiting list board and were seated in just 5 minutes. The order was made by scanning a QR code on the smartphone and ordering online. Here's what we ordered! - Tanba-grown delicious egg plate - Red chicken cutlet with Daikoku Honshima mushrooms (for my partner) The dishes included a main dish, a small side dish, a mountain of Kyoto vegetables salad, special rice, and an obanzai buffet. The Tanba-grown delicious egg plate I ordered consisted of 4 egg dishes - rolled omelet, omelet, soft-boiled egg, chawanmushi, along with egg over rice and a mountain of vegetable salad. We first went to the buffet counter to get some obanzai while waiting for the dishes. The self-served obanzai we got were... - Shiraae (tofu and konjac salad) - Konnyaku and small potato simmered dish - Renkon (lotus root) kinpira - Tonjiru (pork miso soup) Don't underestimate the all-you-can-eat obanzai!! The seasoning of these side dishes was spot on and incredibly delicious. The main egg dishes (rolled omelet, omelet, soft-boiled egg, chawanmushi) were also well-seasoned and used quality ingredients. The mountain of vegetables could be enjoyed with a choice of dressing, and the homemade dressing was also exceptionally tasty. We went for seconds of obanzai! - Shiraae - Namul - Gomoku beans The obanzai was so delicious that we had to hold back on the rice, and finally, we made a Tamago Kake Gohan (egg over rice) using the Tanba eggs. The TKG was rich in yolk and had a great flavor. It was a great way to get plenty of vegetables while enjoying the taste. Plus, with the all-you-can-eat obanzai, the price was really worth it. However, due to the COVID-19 situation, the entrance was open, and we were seated near the entrance, so it was a bit cold. But if you're at EXPOCITY, this place is a must-visit! In fact, I'd like to eat here next time too! It was extremely delicious. I'll come back again! Thank you very much.

I was drawn to this new restaurant at Expo City by the idea of an obanzai buffet for dinner. I ordered the Morimori Salad Plate for ¥1280. However, the self-service obanzai buffet only had 6 items: daikon radish, pumpkin, konjac, white miso, fried tofu, and bean sprout namul. The pictures of 15-16 items on the sign were misleading. Despite the limited menu, many items were already sold out. I wish they had informed us about this when we entered. If I had known the obanzai buffet only had 6 items, I wouldn't have entered. Very disappointing.

The food is served in a one-plate style with the main dish in the center and salad around it. It was recommended to dip the salad into the dressing instead of pouring it over, but it was difficult to eat that way. The miso soup and side dishes are buffet style with unlimited refills, but the miso soup lacks ingredients, especially pork.

A restaurant in Expocity. The interior is bright. The service was quite polite. This time, I ordered the Seasonal Mushroom and Melty Cheese Risotto for 1380 yen. It comes with a salad and side dish buffet. The risotto was well made and the buffet was slightly on the salty side, but dishes like simmered eggplant, tomatoes, and bracken rice cakes were delicious. The salad was a huge portion, but I felt like it was a bit too much as I wanted to focus more on the side dishes.

I visited 'Vegetable Mountain Terao' on the 1st floor of EXPO City, which is known for its vegetable buffet lunch. The interior was bright and spacious with natural wood tables, creating a simple and clean atmosphere. The menu offered colorful lunch plates with a choice of two recommended options: 'Kyotamba Black Chicken Plate' and 'Tamba-raised Delicious Egg Plate'. I chose the 'Kyotamba Black Chicken Plate', which included a variety of chicken dishes, salad, chawanmushi, black bean side dish, and rice, along with the all-you-can-eat buffet of side dishes. The buffet had a wide selection of dishes like simmered eggplant, konjac in soy sauce, lotus root kinpira, and okra salad. The amount of vegetables was impressive and the meal was satisfying and healthy. It was a great value lunch that left me feeling full and happy.
