I went around 8:00 PM and there were no customers. I ordered the flavored egg ramen. They were sold out of rice so I couldn't buy any. The table was wet and a bit dirty. The taste was good, especially the soup, but everything else was just average.

It had been a while since my last visit. This ramen shop in Namba was one of my relatively favorite places! However, when I went there again after a long time, the taste seemed to have become quite bland, like a watered-down version of a typical house ramen flavor... Disappointing.

I tried out a recommended ramen place by my favorite wrestler. I had my first taste of tonkotsu ramen in May. I went to a place in Isezaki-cho, Yokohama, where I ordered the ramen with extra noodles, firm texture, and strong flavor - a combination I had always admired. I was actually not a fan of strong flavors, but surprisingly, it wasn't as salty as I had feared. It was actually quite good, especially when eaten with rice. So, I decided to give tonkotsu ramen a try without any hesitation. I visited Ajido in Nihonbashi, which stays open until late at night. The restaurant has a counter seating area separated by thick vinyl curtains and you order using a ticket machine. On this day, I had already eaten at several places, so I opted for just the ramen without rice. I wanted to try the flavor as soon as possible. I also wanted to take a photo with the T-shirt of my favorite wrestler that I bought at a wrestling event. The ramen I ordered was the basic one with no customization. The broth was so delicious that I ended up finishing the whole bowl, even though I thought I wouldn't be able to. The noodles were thick and easy to eat. As I progressed through the bowl, I started to get a bit tired of the flavor, but then I tried adding some vinegar, which completely changed the taste and made it even more delicious. The balance of flavors was just perfect. I was surprised that I finished the whole bowl of soup, as I thought I wouldn't be able to. I decided to visit again and order the ramen with rice next time. The price was reasonable considering the quality of the food.

A house-made ramen shop located just a short walk from Senichimae Shopping Street. They are open from evening to 5am on weekdays. When I visited around 8pm on a weekday, there were 2 customers already there and 1 customer came in after me. I ordered the Tamago (egg) ramen with extra noodles for 950 yen, and added a side of rice for 100 yen. You can customize the amount of oil, noodle firmness, and soup flavor. The toppings included chashu pork, spinach, seaweed, and green onions. The medium-thick straight noodles had a good chew to them. The soup was a soy sauce-based tonkotsu broth with a moderate amount of oil, but if you choose the normal flavor, it's quite light compared to other house-made ramen, so I recommend going for a stronger flavor.

This is a family-style ramen restaurant. In Osaka, there are chain family-style ramen restaurants like Konjiki Hototogisu, but this one seems to be independent. It's inspired by the family-style concept, but lacks the authentic tonkotsu flavor like Yoshimura-ya. The soup is quite rich and salty, making it a good match for drinking alcohol.

I thought the taste was bland and the broth was not very fatty despite its appearance, so maybe ordering with a stronger flavor and more fat at Coal could eliminate the dissatisfaction. (I usually order everything normal.) I also think the bland taste was a factor, but I regret that the spinach did not mix well with the soup and was increased. They are open until midnight, so I would like to have a rematch as a late-night drink after drinking.

"I wanted to eat ramen for my last meal in Namba, so I visited 'Ramen Ajidono.' It's a ramen shop specializing in tonkotsu (pork bone broth) ramen, with only counter seating available. I purchased a 'Ajitama Ramen' from the ticket machine, and found the ramen to be just right after finishing it. Not good or bad, but just the right amount of flavor."

The first stop was a famous yakiniku restaurant in Seoul! Then I hung out with my friends who are regulars at Malaysia JIS at JIS in Namba. We had drinks at a bar... Now, where should we end the night... I wandered around and found "Ramen Ajidono" with an empty seat. I think it used to be a different ramen shop before?? I'm not too familiar with Minami as it's not my main area. I ordered the Toriaz▪️Ajitama Ramen. It was around 850 yen, I think? After a while, the ramen arrived. It's a tonkotsu ramen. The soup is thick and heavy, which is not ideal after drinking, but it's the kind of taste you crave. The spinach and nori help balance out the greasiness and make it delicious. The noodles were honestly a bit rubbery and not very tasty. It was a delicious ramen to have when you're tired from playing and drunk. PS They seem to have been in business for over 10 years, so maybe my initial impression was that it was more of a Namba-style ramen shop.

I visited Ramen Ajidono in Nipponbashi, Osaka for the fifth time. I had the Ajidono Ramen with flavored egg (firm noodles) for 850 yen. It's a Yokohama-style ramen that is easy to eat and has decent flavor. The flavored egg was delicious! The noodles are medium thickness and typical of Yokohama-style ramen. The soup has a thick texture. However, it seems to be adjusted for the Kansai region, so it's not as rich and heavy as traditional Yokohama-style ramen, but rather light. The complimentary kimchi is appreciated. This was my fifth visit, and for some reason, I always crave this ramen after drinking. It was the most delicious I've had so far.

Ramen Ajidono-san serves ramen with firm noodles and lots of them. When it comes to house style ramen, it usually has thick noodles, but these are on another level of extreme thickness. They go really well with the rich and oily soup. Delicious. I wonder if they also have an option for extra oil. I'm curious. They only open for dinner on weekdays, but they open from 12 pm on weekends and holidays.

This used to be a shop I frequented often before the pandemic, but it had been closed for about 2 years so I had drifted away. However, when I happened to pass by and saw the lights on, I was drawn in and entered. When I used to go to places in Kanto frequently, I tried various types of ramen, but I couldn't find a delicious house-style ramen in Kansai. At that time, I tried the ramen at Ajidono and it was incredibly delicious, so I have been a fan ever since. Kansai locals, don't be fooled by other house-style ramen shops, let's go to Ajidono. LOL

In May of the 4th year of Reiwa, the operating hours are from 12:00 to 29:00. Ramen costs 750 yen. You can choose the amount of oil, the firmness of the noodles, and the richness of the flavor. You can also enjoy a change in taste with garlic and red pepper added midway. Most importantly, it's great that they are open until 5:00 in the morning.

Just a simple tonkotsu shoyu ramen with the name "Ramen Family" but nothing special about it other than long opening hours. The spinach was not tasty. It's not necessarily better just because it's free of additives. If using additives makes it tastier, then they should go ahead and use them.

I visited Ajidono in Nipponbashi, Osaka for the fourth time. I had the Ajidono Ramen with seasoned egg (firm noodles) for 810 yen. It's a Yokohama-style ramen, easy to eat with decent flavor, but it tends to lose its appeal towards the end. The noodles are medium thickness typical of Yokohama-style ramen. The soup has a thick consistency. However, it has been adjusted for the Kansai region, so it's not as rich and heavy as traditional Yokohama-style ramen. After drinking, for some reason, I always end up craving this ramen.

It's a Yokohama-style ramen that is easy to eat and has decent flavor, but it tends to lose its appeal towards the end. The noodles are medium thickness, typical of Yokohama-style ramen. The soup has a thick texture. However, it feels like they made it lighter for the Kansai region, so it lacks the boldness of traditional Yokohama-style ramen, which leaves it feeling somewhat lacking. It's not bad by any means, but it falls short of being a great Yokohama-style ramen.

While walking along Senri-dori, I came across "Ramen Ajidono" which was open for lunch, a surprise as they usually operate in the evenings. They are open on weekends and holidays from 12 pm. There is a ticket vending machine outside the store. Upon entering, the interior was quite warm, possibly due to the sun shining in from behind. The ramen came with toppings of chashu, spinach, 3 nori sheets, and green onions. The noodles were thick and straight with a chewy texture, in a pork bone soy sauce base with just the right amount of oil and a rich flavor. The plentiful, soft-boiled spinach harmonized well with the rich soup, making it delicious. There was a lot of spinach, so towards the end, it felt like I was eating spinach soup. You can choose the amount of oil, noodle firmness, and flavor intensity for the ramen. There are condiments like pepper, red pepper, garlic, and sesame on the table. The counter has 9 seats without partitions, managed by one staff member. Behind the plastic curtain is the sidewalk, giving a sense of openness and surprisingly cozy atmosphere.

I stopped by after eating sushi. The counter is covered with vinyl sheets, so there is a draft and it's cold. The vending machine only accepts 1000 yen bills or 2000 yen bills, which is a strange setup. They have a system where you buy tickets outside. I had the one with egg on top. The soup was described as tonkotsu shoyu, but surprisingly light. It didn't feel particularly special, but it was easy to eat and had a good balance. The noodles were thick and curly, with a good chewy texture. It was quite tasty overall, so it's not as bad as the review may suggest, perhaps it was more about the service?

I visited 'Ramen Ajidono' in Osaka, Nipponbashi for the second time. The first time was about four years ago. The ramen costs 710 yen and it's a Yokohama-style ramen. It was easy for me to eat and tasted decent. The noodles were medium thickness, typical of Yokohama-style ramen. The soup had a thick texture. However, it seemed to be adjusted for the Kansai region, so it lacked the strong taste typical of Yokohama-style ramen and was rather light. Some people might find it lacking in flavor. In that sense, I felt it was suitable for after drinking.

"Senichimae no Kakei" in Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture. Ordered the ramen for 710 yen in December 2019. It was served in 9 minutes with a salt concentration of 1.9%. The previous and subsequent customers were unknown. Started drinking since morning and it was already a new day when entering the shop after drinking for about 18 hours. It seems to be a rare type of ramen in Osaka. The soup was rich in pork bone flavor and the noodles were deliciously chewy. The balance was impressive. Compared to a popular ramen shop in Shizuoka, it was a very compatible type of ramen that did not fall short. The drunk customer kept saying "delicious" over 100 times. Always in a good mood. Now that my stomach is full, let's have a little more to drink. Osaka is always fun to visit."

Family ramen (seems to be an arrangement for Kansai people). I made it too strong because I was too hungry. The taste is delicious, a rare family-style - tonkotsu shoyu flavor with curly thick noodles. It has a strong flavor and is quite satisfying. However, it is really strong, so although I enjoyed it at first, my mouth started to feel spicy and I needed more beer. People who usually prefer a moderate flavor might think the normal taste is better. Unfortunately, there is no cleanliness. I wonder if there are any clean family-style restaurants, but I don't think so. I want to find one. But I love this taste, so it's a bit tricky. The interior plays J-POP music loudly. There were no other customers on a Saturday afternoon around 3 o'clock. The restaurant has about 10 seats at the counter. It is located along a main street and separated by simple curtains. It looks cold at the foot during winter. The service is average. The spinach topping was piled high and felt like a good deal.
