I have been stopping by more often after work☆ With the situation improving and work getting busier, I can fill up my stomach and enjoy drinks without spending over 2000 yen, which is super reasonable☆ My favorite is the mega highball♪ I prefer drinking over eating, so I'm happy with the mega size and sometimes leave after just 4 dishes, spending around 1300 to 2000 yen. It's cheap, delicious, and makes me feel happy and content, giving me the energy to work hard again tomorrow. Due to my job, I often enter the restaurant after 11:30 pm, and sometimes they have sold out items, but that's understandable since I come late. Even as a single woman in her thirties, the staff always treat me nicely, and it's become my favorite place. When I'm feeling down or exhausted from work, it's really heartwarming when they tell me to take care on my way home. It's so cute when the new staff almost says "one person only" but then corrects themselves to address me respectfully. It's a lovely place with great staff, and of course, the food is delicious too. It used to be a bit intimidating for single women to go to izakayas alone, but now with the touch panel ordering system, it's even more welcoming for solo female customers. So if any ladies want to try going to an izakaya alone, I think this place is very easy to visit. Sometimes I feel an irresistible urge to go to Torikizoku. When that desire arises, it's not like it's nearby, but on this day, I was in Osaka, so I could fulfill my wish to go. My friend asked me if it was necessary to come all the way to Osaka just to go to Torikizoku, but that's just a luxury of city dwellers. Consider the feelings of us country folk. For us, it's a precious opportunity. Eating yakitori while thinking of Okura from Kanjani is especially delicious. (I'm not a Kanjani fan) It's always a cheap and delicious yakitori restaurant. Despite being cheap, they say they skewer fresh every day at the shop. That's why this affordability is amazing. Focusing on domestic ingredients is probably the pride of the industry's leading company. It's also nice that they have mixed juice available. You can easily experience the feeling of Osaka. I enjoy some Torikizoku-yaki while chatting with my friend. It's a good time. I can only be grateful to Torikizoku for providing such a space. According to a Nikkei article, Torikizoku struggled a bit when they raised prices and sales dropped. It's a shame that I can't support them by eating, but I want to support them from afar.

JR Tennoji North Exit, standing in a town where old men and exam students come and go, is the Torikizoku Tennoji North Exit store. Both drinks and food are a flat rate of 280 yen each (excluding tax), so it's easy for housewives who slack off on household chores to stop by! Despite it being a Wednesday, there was not a single salaryman in sight! The establishment was filled with guests in their 20s, with a 95% ratio, and the staff were also young and full of energy. While there was a slight feeling of being out of place, we were seated at a table and ordered our first drink. A glass of Ichiban Shibori (medium) or a large draft beer (Asahi Super Dry) for 280 yen. The first drink might be Ichiban Shibori, but afterwards, you might as well go for the 700ml Asahi Super Dry, right? So, we ordered a draft beer and the recommended dishes marked on the menu - Torikizoku grilled chicken thigh and breast with sauce, Torikizoku chicken breast with spices, as well as the bonjiri (tail meat), and we added some cartilage as per our preference. The dishes arrived quickly despite the crowd! The grilled chicken (thigh and breast) were huge and quite satisfying on their own. Then, the bonjiri might be more suited for the younger crowd, as it might be a bit too fatty for middle-aged and older folks. We proceeded to enjoy some fried chicken, and finished off with a rice dish. The rice dish was confirmed when we placed our first order, and even though it took about 30 minutes, it was worth ordering early because it was delicious. Typically, the bill for two people is around 3,000 yen, which is quite reasonable! In November 2017, after a long time, we visited Torikizoku again, and it happened to be a slow period (rainy days or during the World Cup), so we received a 10% off coupon. What a delightful surprise! Since the renovation about a year ago, the seating capacity has slightly increased, and the waiting time has reduced. The interior is like a box with unnecessary space eliminated. However, as always, the place was bustling with young people, creating a lively atmosphere. It might be a bit cramped now, but it's better than waiting in line outside. There are no designated non-smoking seats, but if you mention that you dislike smoke at the entrance, they will guide you to a quieter counter seat at the back, allowing you to enjoy your time without worrying about smoke. I personally prefer the fourth counter seat at the back (secret). It's spacious, quiet, and smoke-free, which is perfect for me. And, the highlight - the "280 yen flat rate" had slightly increased, but it was still very affordable. The beer selection had changed from Kirin to Suntory, and from Ichiban Shibori to Premium Malt's, and from Asahi Super Dry to Kinmugi. The menu had also been revamped! First up, the all-you-can-eat cabbage in large or medium size. As a housewife, this menu item is a godsend during the high vegetable prices. The size of the meat in the grilled dishes remained the same, but there were new additions like garlic chip topped yakitori, fluffy chicken nanban, various ramen, and a variety of side dishes, making the menu even more exciting! Whenever I receive a service coupon, I will definitely go back again...

It is located on the back street on the north side of Tennoji Station. I thought Torikizoku was on the second floor or higher, but this one is a ground floor store. Maybe because it's on a back street? I visited at 5:30 on a holiday and about 70% of the seats were taken. All the staff here, as far as I could see, were Japanese. The taste and portion size were very satisfying. Of course, it's yakitori. I don't think they had any raw items. I ordered a Jim Beam highball and a Chita highball. Everything here is 308 yen including tax. The Chita highball was served in a smaller glass compared to the Jim Beam highball. It's interesting how they adjust the portion size to keep the price the same. The former had a fresh taste while the latter was smoky. Lastly, even though I didn't ask for it, they kindly offered me tea and ice water with a smile. It left a very good impression.

It's been a while since I had yakitori (*´∇｀*)❤️ I thought it would be empty since it's a back alley, but there were five groups waiting. I hadn't eaten much in preparation for this, and the wait was hungry because it was cold (´･_･`) I ordered a tonic water to get in the mood for drinking. I ordered randomly, and the freshly cooked chicken rice in a pot was too delicious (*´∇｀*) Despite the close seating and bustling atmosphere with neighboring tables, the food is delicious and has great value for money at only 280 yen for all items. It's a good restaurant.

Torikizoku is cheap and delicious, so I used to go there often! There was one in Tennoji, so I decided to try it out. The moment we sat down, the server came to ask for our drinks before we even had a chance to look at the menu. It was a bit surprising. We ordered "Momokizoku-yaki," "Sunazuri," "Bonjiri," "Yagen nankotsu," "Cabbage salad," "Tulip Karaage," "Yakitori-don," etc! Everything was only 280 yen each! And they were consistently delicious. However, our seating was not great, as the server near the entrance kept walking by our table. There was no wall next to us. The server kept loudly saying "Irasshaimase," "What table number," "Order number," over and over again. It was so noisy. I was startled multiple times, had to cover my ears, and our conversation was constantly interrupted by the loud server. In the end, I left with a headache. Is energetic customer service meant to disturb the customers...? Shouldn't there be more consideration for customers, like speaking a bit farther away? Is it just something to endure because it's cheap...? It's disappointing.
