I watched "Arashi ni Shiyagare" and had a restaurant in Tokyo that I wanted to visit, and now it's in Imazufukurumi! Of course, I love the Shirasu Peperoncino pasta, especially with fresh noodles! I was excited! When it was brought to the table, the staff said, "Please say STOP when you've had enough!" The staff kept reminding me to say "STOP" as I was eating, but it wasn't easy to stop. The excitement was at its peak! Finally, I said, "STOP!" Later, when I looked at the photos, I realized I was holding back, and the amount wasn't that much. The taste of the sweet broth Peperoncino pasta was a bit underwhelming. The oiliness, spiciness, and garlic are what make Peperoncino pasta delicious. The noodles were fresh and chewy. It would probably go well with other types of pasta like Bolognese or creamy sauces. However, for an oil-based pasta dish like this Shirasu pasta called Peperoncino, I wonder if it's the right choice. Personally, I was hoping for a more flavorful Peperoncino. It was a weekday lunchtime, but there were many electric bicycles parked outside, and the inside was full of families and ladies. If it weren't for COVID, seeing the place so busy on a weekday lunch would have been exciting! I wanted to eat at the outdoor terrace, but it was already taken by a family who arrived just before us, so we had to sit inside. The customers seemed to be having some sort of interview, as they were discussing documents after finishing their meal. I could see the efforts the restaurant was making for infection prevention, like keeping the entrance open, but personally, I couldn't feel comfortable eating in a closed space, so I think I'll avoid it for a while. The restaurant itself had a lively atmosphere, and the staff were trying their best with the service. It felt like a casual Italian restaurant. Grazie!
