I came to Ohashi once again. After finishing my errands, I headed straight here today without getting lost, haha. The typhoon has passed, and it has completely become autumn, so I came to eat matsutake mushrooms with a half-price coupon for dobin mushi while it's still valid. There are many menu options, but for a limited time, they have matsutake mushroom sukiyaki sets! There are 4 grades of meat to choose from, and after much consideration, I chose the Japanese beef with marbled fat (3410 yen). It's so luxurious, haha, excessively luxurious. I chose the 16-grain rice for the rice option. I also ordered the dobin mushi as an additional order (half-price at 880 yen). It's a lunch full of matsutake mushrooms and autumn flavors. However, it's crowded today as well. Most of the customers are groups of older ladies. The table seats were full, and I was guided to a sunken kotatsu table in the large hall, which was also quickly filling up. I arrived early before lunchtime, but it's so busy! When I left, there were several groups waiting. It arrived! The sukiyaki is already prepared, so I couldn't see how marbled the meat was, but it's very tender and delicious. However, it was too rich for me, so I might have been fine with one grade lower, the domestic beef loin, haha. There were 5-6 slices of matsutake mushrooms hidden at the bottom, and although thin, they had a unique texture and were delicious. But if you want to further enjoy the aroma and texture, maybe the Matsutake Mushroom Assortment (1980 yen) from a different menu would be better? It's a bit too luxurious for a solo lunch, so I'll save it for next year, haha. The dobin mushi arrived a bit later. It was full of ingredients like shrimp, conger eel, chicken, and ginkgo nuts, and there were more matsutake mushrooms than I expected. The elegant broth was very delicious. It resets the rich flavor of the sukiyaki. I feel like I could eat as much as I want. It really makes me feel the appetite of autumn, haha. After a delicious meal, it's time for a delicious dessert! I was tempted by the chestnut Mont Blanc, but I chose the grape and pear anmitsu (660 yen). It's full of autumn fruits. The unique split spoon makes it easy to eat, and it's delicious until the last bite with the black syrup drizzle. The autumn lunch set also looked delicious, and I'm still curious about the shabu-shabu. I'll visit again. Thank you for the meal!
