Yakitori restaurant located on Umakamon Street near Mizukagami Tenmangu Shrine in Hakata. I came here to revisit Slarge, but unfortunately they were closed, so I ended up at this restaurant. The interior has a counter with 8 seats and table seating. I sat at the counter just as some customers left. The grilled pork cartilage was delicious and tender. Thank you for the meal.

I visited this restaurant while sightseeing in Fukuoka! It's a cozy izakaya in the back alleys with a delicious atmosphere. My friend and I ordered 4 lemon sours and about 20 skewers, and the total came to 3,100 yen per person. The chicken tenderloin, shiso-wrapped skewers, and chicken neck were particularly delicious!

I visited this restaurant during a business trip to Fukuoka. It was past 10 p.m. but the place was bustling with regular customers. I ordered vinegar motsu and a half course (6 skewers). I went to this restaurant based on a friend's recommendation. It was my first dinner in Fukuoka since I transferred here, and also my first time drinking alone. I didn't really talk much, but it was impressive to see the chef chatting happily with what seemed to be regular customers. The chef also interacted warmly with the staff, creating a very homely atmosphere. I ordered the half course, which included a salad, chicken breast and liver, pork belly, vegetable rolls, and the incredibly delicious tsukune as the finale. Every dish was outstanding, but I especially loved the vegetable rolls and tsukune. I think they are absolutely delicious. If you're dining alone and looking for a great restaurant, I will definitely be coming back here again.

I heard it was delicious so I decided to visit. Today, the two of us ordered: - Umasyabu Ito Shima pork belly and highland lettuce for 1400 yen. It's simple but delicious. The soup is good. - Stingray fin for 480 yen - Potato salad for 480 yen. It has a good amount and is delicious, so I recommend it. The skewers I ordered: - Pork belly for 220 yen - Chicken breast for 180 yen - Chicken skin for 180 yen. The skewers have a delicious flavor. I felt like there were a few types, but having more options with good taste is better. I wish they were a bit cheaper. The drinks I ordered: - Shimabito on the rocks for 400 yen each. The restaurant isn't very spacious, so it's recommended for small groups like two people. You can relax and enjoy your drinks at the counter.

I moved to a new area and couldn't find a good yakitori restaurant nearby, so I came all the way here to Minamikage Tenmangu Koji, which I love. When I entered the restaurant, there was a counter and a small table that could seat about 8 people. The size of the counter is nice. I ordered various dishes right away. As always, I had wine for my drink. The menu is not very extensive, but each dish is well thought out and delicious. I especially recommend the menchikatsu and cheese yakitori. I want to go back again. After multiple visits, I finally tried the shabu-shabu for the first time. It came with a mountain of lettuce and thick pork belly slices. The soup was delicious too, and I am likely to come back again. As of 2022, I have visited this restaurant about 40 times.

I had a small event job that required me to travel far, but I safely finished and returned to the office for more work. It was raining, so I left my motorcycle behind. When I left the office, it was already 7:30 PM. A night like this calls for a solo drink. I decided to go to the alley next to Mizukami Tenmangu Shrine, and I stumbled upon "Yakitori FUJI" - a new place for me. I later found out that it had been open for over a year. I hadn't been checking out this alley much lately. The entrance to this place, like many others in the alley, is narrow. The counter and tables were all full, but I managed to find a seat. A well-chilled draft beer revived me. Now, they had individual items on the menu, but they also offered a skewer course. I opted for the half course with 6 skewers for 1400 yen. First, I had a salad with plenty of dried baby sardines, a nice crunchy texture. In Fukuoka's yakitori places, the usual cabbage was missing, so this salad served as a good appetizer. The first skewer was chicken breast. Delicious! Perfectly cooked with the right amount of salt. You can tell the level of the restaurant from this. Next, I had chicken liver. Another great source of protein. The pork belly was also fantastic, with even the fatty parts tasting sweet. This was dangerous. Each skewer was cooked right in front of me, and I could see the charcoal grill they were using. The chicken breast wrapped in green onions was served with a cute tomato. I was surprised to find out that the tomato had hot juice inside, so be careful. Lastly, I had a tsukune skewer to finish off. I wanted to dip it in raw egg yolk for an additional 100 yen, and it was perfect. I quickly drank a sweet potato shochu with hot water and finished my meal. It was great. The counter has space for a few people, and there is also a table that can seat up to 6 people (although it might be a bit cramped). Thanks to a friend who lives in Fukuoka, I made a reservation over the phone and decided to go. The staff's pleasant response when making the reservation already made me look forward to it even more. When I entered the restaurant, I found it to be a bit small but with a clean and bright atmosphere. I ordered a draft beer and 5 pieces each of chicken tataki and skewers. Since all the items I ordered were grilled, it took a little time, so the staff suggested if I would like some appetizers that could be served quickly. As they suggested, the appetizers went well with the beer, and they brought out the skewers one by one at the perfect timing, so I could enjoy them while they were still hot. The rare chicken breast and scallion rolls were excellent. Everything was really delicious, and the service was very pleasant, so I left completely satisfied!! I will definitely come back when I visit Fukuoka again.

Today, I went to a yakitori restaurant in Tenjin with my senior for a casual year-end gathering. The interior of the restaurant was long and we sat at the counter. We ordered beer and toasted, then ordered some food. The price for one skewer was a bit higher compared to other places, but the quality and portion size were decent. I think it's better to pay a bit more for better quality rather than getting something cheap and small. They also sell shochu by the glass, which is nice. It's a good place for one or two people to drink at the counter. They also have table seating, so it should be fine for a group of four people.

Sasami is delicious! The liver is also tasty. The potato salad with ham and carrots has a good amount of filling. It's a small place where you can enjoy skewers and drinks, more like snacking than a meal. It seems like reservations might be necessary even on weekdays. I want to go again!
