If you're not a member, the drinks may seem a bit expensive, so the all-you-can-drink option might be good for the first visit. It's a bit disappointing that there are no drinks in the 300 yen range. Highball is 418 yen. The cabbage refill is free, and the taste is average. It seems like you can become a member after one visit, and you can get a 1000 yen discount, so it seems like it will be cheaper from the second visit onwards!

It used to be called Toriki, but it has now changed to Toridan. Toridan offers special benefits for members, such as the first drink for 100 yen and momo skewers for 50 yen. The interior of the store remains the same as the previous Toriki. The prices for drinks range from 380 yen to 480 yen. The food menu includes cabbage, cold tofu, fried octopus, chicken with plum and shiso, fried tofu, green peppers, grilled chicken and more. This izakaya specializes in yakitori and kamameshi, and the quality of the food is stable and reliable. The service is also good compared to other branches.

Every time I passed by, I was curious about how crowded this place must be and what kind of shop it is. They had a menu posted outside, and even though it's a yakitori place, they also have a variety of other dishes like izakaya-style items and even Korean cuisine. They offer around 10 different types of kamameshi rice dishes, and their selection of drinks is also extensive. Intrigued by all this, I decided to go in. As expected, it was crowded, and the first floor was fully booked, so I was directed to the second floor. The menu was overwhelming with so many choices to pick from. Despite the reasonable prices, many yakitori places tend to have a strong smell, but the yakitori here was delicious. The drinks, side dishes, Korean cuisine, and kamameshi rice were all satisfying. Since I didn't eat much that day, my bill came to 2700 yen. If you eat and drink normally, it would probably cost around 3000 to 4000 yen. Despite being busy, the orders were served promptly, and on my way out, the staff even saw me off outside. I now understand why this place is so popular. Thank you for the great meal.

Awa-za Yakitori Restaurant [4-cho, Tatsuimabori, Nishi-ku] One minute south of Awa-za Station on Amidaike-suji, there used to be Torikich***. What will be next? Another yakitori restaurant (laughs) [Toridan Awa-za Store] opened in June. On a Saturday before 9 pm, we stopped by as a shelter from the rain. The place was bustling with young people. We ordered a draft beer and looked at the menu. We had the following dishes: Speed Menu 5 types (octopus wasabi, quail eggs, cream cheese, squid kimchi, plum jellyfish), Yakitori Assortment 5 types, Chicken Breast Avocado, Buttered Potatoes, Grilled Rice Ball. Since it's a chain restaurant, the menu is probably the same everywhere. The staff were energetic but kept bringing the wrong orders multiple times (bitter smile). We didn't drink much, so we were able to resolve it by saying "We didn't order this~", but if someone is drunk, they will definitely end up eating the wrong items (be careful). This day, it was past 11 pm and I was wandering around Abeno looking to go drinking. Before I knew it, the yakitori restaurant had changed, so I decided to check it out. It used to be a cheap yakitori place before. When I entered, I was seated at a booth. The interior didn't seem very new, maybe it was the previous restaurant's layout. I ordered some yakitori and tried them. The gizzard was small but decent, not bad. However, the thigh meat was loose and lacked firmness, like supermarket yakitori. When my friend, who is a foreigner, complained that the meat was still red inside, they brought two more skewers as a service. It seems like the grilling technique of the chef might not be the best. I had a good impression of a related store near Sakaisuji Hommachi Station, where it was cheap and delicious. Maybe there's a difference in grilling methods. I couldn't see the grill, so it might not be the best. The staff, even though they were part-time workers, were attentive and friendly, which I appreciated. There were no staff with dead eyes, which was nice. When I left, they saw me off warmly. Overall, it might depend on the grill and the chef's skill. Thank you for the meal.

A yakitori restaurant that opened on the site of a former high-class establishment. When I looked it up on their website, it seems like they have various perks for members, but I don't really understand all that stuff.

I visited the restaurant using the GOtoEAT campaign as they were offering half-price yakitori on Sundays. The food was delicious, thank you.

There were many types of chu-hai available, which was great. I would like to use it again.

Even during the state of emergency, they are open until 1 am. Momogao is recommended.
