It was close to 2 PM, so the line wasn't as long as I expected, and the wait was about 20 minutes. There is a food ticket machine, so I bought my food ticket and waited for my turn.★Nira Clear Salt Ramen (Whole Wheat) 1080 yen★Spicy Scented Ramen (Rye) 1280 yen★Freshly cooked rice (large) 270 yenNishimura porkEach came with "cheese" and "spicy oil". First, the Nira Clear Salt Ramen had a transparent soup as seen in the photos. At the bottom, there was a green layer that looked like a natural lake. The noodles were a special order from Keiji Seimen, made with whole wheat, slightly chewy possibly due to hand-kneading. The chicken chashu, although not large in size, was quite delicious. I enjoyed dipping the French bread into the soup while slurping the noodles. The hot soup didn't cool down quickly. I mixed the remaining soup with the silver rice and added cheese, then seasoned it with spicy oil to finish it off like a risotto. The spicy oil did a great job. The Nishimura pork, which I, a complete amateur, initially thought was tuna, turned out to be a French meat dish called "Japanese-style pork rillettes". I added it directly to the risotto, but it's also delicious when dipped in French bread and then soaked in the soup. I was pleasantly surprised as I'm not particularly fond of Nira. The second bowl was the Spicy Scented Ramen. As soon as it was served, the aroma of spices hit me. The visual impact was impressive with plenty of dried herbs or spices sprinkled on top. The soup was piping hot, and with each slurp, a moderate spiciness emerged. The noodles were made of rye, giving them a Japanese buckwheat noodle-like impression, easy to slurp and delicious. I continued to enjoy the meal by dipping the French bread into the soup while slurping the noodles, but the soup remained hot! I added the silver rice at the end! I felt the gaze of the man next to me saying, "You eat a lot," but I finished it all. It was delicious! I finally got to try the "Nishimura Men" that I had been wanting to eat. I am grateful to my gourmet-loving friend who always fulfills my wishes. In the evening, they offer course menus and a la carte options, as well as sweets, side dishes, and ingredients for takeout. The course menu starts at 4400 yen, which is quite reasonable. I would like to visit someday.
