Suddenly dango! That's right! Apparently, there is something like this in Kumamoto, but... Suddenly! Kushi Hachi! Today's companion is... a lady from the personnel department who loves Japanese sake... I'm a little nervous, but if there is any trouble... it's off to the inquiry committee!!! But you know, I was taught the goodness of junmai sake... and that made this night quite enjoyable!!! Now, when it comes to casual drinking in Shinjuku, I often use this place, which is a bit dry tonight... So, here we go! First, pour in the beer, then... - Matsumae pickles and salted firefly squid, - The appetizer is thick-fried tofu with chicken soboro, - Pour soy sauce over the salted butter of Hokkaido potatoes, the richness of the butter is... really good! - Now, we have bell pepper cheese-wrapped pork rolls! A favorite of the sea lion!!! If you don't order this firmly, you'll get meat-stuffed bell peppers instead, so be careful! - The classic natto-wrapped grilled dish and grilled fish head... this is a classic! Enjoy the grilled natto and the miso of the grilled fish head! At this point, it's time to introduce the junmai sake! This junmai sake is... not too intoxicating... well, no, I'm still getting tipsy tonight... oh well, it's fine! Sexual harassment! Power harassment! Three bellies! Whether these three rituals happened or not, I don't remember, but I went home in a slightly tipsy mood... I didn't overdo it today! It's great to be with young ladies!!! Well, when I asked about her age, it wasn't that different...! It's a mysterious shop!!! Well, once you're drunk, that's how it goes! I just hope it doesn't affect my job transfer... (laughs)

I think the cost performance is good. The ramen, negima, and tsukune were delicious. There is no button to call the staff at the counter seats. It takes a little time for the yakitori to come out. The potato salad comes with a biscuit. It felt like they were a bit short-staffed. I also felt it might be a little difficult to go alone.

I went to Kushichanchin in Shinjuku for the first time in a while and had a great time eating and drinking. My personal favorite is the grilled liver, followed by the harami. My colleagues who went with me also really enjoyed it. Good, cheap, and delicious - that's the basic principle of a good izakaya. I'm looking forward to going again.

Well, considering the time that has passed and the current social situation, it's understandable how things have changed. But the fact that Raku is still around is a good thing. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices are low, which used to be the hallmark of this place. However, it seems like things have changed. The salt stew looked the same, taste-wise, but overall, the menu had changed. It makes me wonder if it's due to sourcing issues. I've heard that chain restaurants are on the decline, so I'm relieved that the quality of the skewers hasn't dropped. They were still delicious. It feels like a turning point. I'll be keeping an eye on their future moves. Thank you for the meal.

I was hopping around in Shinjuku and ended up here by chance. I ordered a mixed plate of yakitori and a few other dishes for starters. The yakitori was cooked by boiling the chicken skin first and then grilling it. It might be recommended for those who are health-conscious. I stayed for about an hour and it cost a little over 1,000 yen per person. It seems like a good place to enjoy yakitori and drinks quickly in Shinjuku.

We visited on a weekday night in May 2023 with a reservation for 6 people. We were guided to a spacious and comfortable private room. The food was plentiful and more delicious than a certain yakitori chain. There were various drink options available. The course was very cost-effective. We would like to use this place again. The banquet course with all-you-can-drink was 3800 yen and included: - Appetizers (boiled komatsuna and smoked cheese) - Potato salad - Chicken sukiyaki - Fried chicken and sweet potato sticks - Two skewers of yakitori each (negima and forgot the other) - Garlic toast - Grilled rice balls.

This is my second time. Some skewers come with original miso. I definitely want to try the natto roll. I prefer salt over the tangy sauce. There were a lot of salty snacks. I ended up ordering a drink. Strategy?

The restaurant had a moderate level of crowds and checked all the boxes for being fast, cheap, and delicious. While the menu isn't extensive, there are no disappointing dishes to worry about. The zousui (rice porridge) for finishing the meal is unexpectedly made with chicken skin and chili oil, so it's not a light option for those looking for a refreshing end to their meal.

I chose this restaurant because I felt like there used to be unlimited refills of grated daikon at Kushihachi, but it turns out that only the original Kushihachi offers that. However, as a regular yakitori chain restaurant, the food was delicious. The restaurant was busy and the staff seemed a bit short-handed, so it took a while for the food to come out, which was a little disappointing.

The yakitori was voluminous, well-seasoned, and delicious. Other side dishes were slightly on the salty side, but overall the flavors were quite pleasing. We started with draft beer, then finished a bottle of shochu, and ended up ordering two highballs each. We might have had a bit too much to drink!

Located on the second floor of a building in Shinjuku Sanchome, the restaurant is quite spacious and clean. The atmosphere is not cramped, but very pleasant. We tried various dishes and they were all delicious and satisfying. I recommend trying their original cocktail, "The Lark".

I had been consistently taking a break. During that time, several affiliated shops have closed, and I feel a strong hatred towards Corona... so I decided to have a casual drink since I had plans next. I realized it was my first time trying regular french fries, but they were delicious. It's obvious that they were freshly fried, but everything was just right. When the assorted grilled pork arrived, I could smell something and thought, hmm... but when I tried it, it was the usual taste. However, there was a lot of moisture in it. I'm not sure if they freeze it, but if you store it incorrectly, moisture can accumulate inside the meat... but if you release the moisture in advance, the meat juices will come out too, so it's still difficult. As I mentioned before, they stand out among chain restaurants, so I will take it as a cautious approach and look forward to the future. Oh, and by the way, the chicken is still divine. Thank you for the meal.

After having dinner at Pizza Capoli, I visited and used it as a second party. I only remember ordering a lemon sour, which was freshly squeezed with lemon and quite tasty. Citric acid is good for the body, so it shouldn't affect work the next day. By the way, I vaguely remember that the appetizer was surprisingly delicious. It was a sweet and savory simmered chicken with mayonnaise on top, which was a bit overwhelming but had a straightforward flavor. I took one bite and a fashion industry beauty asked me for some with drunken eyes, so I ended up giving it to her.

17 years ago, when I was a college student, I was brought here by a colleague at my part-time job. It's amazing that this place is still going strong in the ever-changing izakaya industry. The fact that the prices have hardly changed since then, yet the quality has not dropped, is truly commendable. The motsu-yaki in particular stands out. If they were serving something weird, it would smell and not be firm, but the motsu-yaki here is fantastic. And to think they can serve it for just 100 yen, there's nothing to complain about. The other dishes also have great value for money, and most of all, the quality of the eggplant simmered in broth for the appetizer is outstanding. I am truly impressed. Thank you for the meal.

I entered with a friend around 8:30 on Friday night without a reservation, and we were seated as soon as the cleaning was done! The atmosphere inside the restaurant was calm and had a nice Japanese feel. We started with an assorted skewer plate and shrimp tempura, which were both delicious and the shrimp tempura was large! My friend ordered a limited-time plum sour drink, which was quite sour and not to their liking. For our last dish, we ordered cheese risotto and were told to add the cheese once the fire goes out, but it took about 10 minutes! Not recommended if you're in a hurry! It was surprisingly a large portion, almost like 4 small rice bowls, but the flavor was a bit bland. The chicken kamameshi seems to be popular, so that might be a better choice!

On a certain day in June, Tokyo, at night... I'm back again♪ I arrived and headed straight to a bar I had planned to drink at, dragging my suitcase along. But to my disappointment, it was closed. The abnormal weather in Tokyo, and indeed all of Japan, has me worried about the future. It feels like the seasons may disappear altogether... It's so hot... I just want a cold beer soon... "Kushi Hatchin Shinjuku Chuo-guchi Branch" Well, my gas tank is empty, but who cares! Now, for today's order. Draft beer 490 yen, Sapporo Red Star large bottle 690 yen, Macaroni salad 290 yen, Harusame salad 290 yen, Chicken gizzard Chinese cold dish 290 yen, Negima sauce 120 yen, Kawa salt 100 yen, Seseri salt 100 yen, Seseri sauce 100 yen, Kasira salt 100 yen... The beer has arrived! Cheers! ...gulp gulp gulp... Huh? It's warm... This beer is warm! I can't drink this... I'll have to switch to a bottle beer. "Excuse me." "Yes?" "I'll have a bottle of Red Star beer." "Sure. Would you like a glass?" ... The small glass for the bottle beer is warm too. I pour the beer into it... still warm. The appetizer is lukewarm too. I feel so disappointed. I realize the importance of a restaurant that does the basics right. The Asian staff struggling with Japanese makes it even more stressful. But finding a staff member who seems capable makes a big difference. The skewers are delicious, especially with the secret miso. Maybe they should serve cabbage as the appetizer instead. Pour the beer properly, please. Thank you for the meal.

If you're in Shinjuku and looking for a quick meal, let's go eat! I didn't make a reservation, so I wandered around looking for a place to eat. After being turned down by a few places, I finally found this one. It was empty, which was nice because we could relax, but it's tough when a restaurant lacks personality. We had seseri (chicken neck), which had a chewy texture and went well with the miso sauce. The amireba (juicy chicken meat) was tasty and fatty. The tan (chicken tongue) was juicy and had a nice kick from the mustard. The tamagoyaki (rolled omelette) was clearly store-bought and too sweet, so we rolled it up with kimchi. We ordered the chicken suki to share, and surprisingly, it was a generous portion with momo (chicken thigh), liver, skin, and kinkan (kumquat). We finished with udon, which was thick and chewy, soaking up the broth and tasting delicious. The food wasn't bad, it was affordable, but the restaurant was empty. It's tough, being in the food industry.

I love Kushihaccho in Ikebukuro, and I also tried the one in Shinjuku, it was great! It's like a popular chain with few branches, but the food is delicious and affordable. Perfect for a casual drink at the second or third spot, great value for money! When in doubt, go to Kushihaccho!

The chicken wing skewers and ham cutlet were delicious. The tomato slices were large and satisfying. They had Sapporo Red Star bottled beer available. I was already a bit drunk so I couldn't really taste the difference, but it made me feel good. There was a smoking room inside, which made it easier for my friend. I had about 3 or 4 beers while snacking, and it came out to a little over 4000 yen per person. I thought it was a reasonable price. It was a fun time. I know it's still tough, but I hope they can continue running the business.

串八珍 in Tokyo is a great spot with good value. A must-try are the yakiton and kashira, which you dip in their special miso sauce that is really delicious. The side dishes, achala pickles and chicken skin with ponzu, are also fantastic. The pickles go well with the seven spice blend on the table, and the crispy chicken skin with ponzu is addictive. The ponzu sauce is so tasty that you might want it in a separate dish. And don't forget the drink, Raku! After the first two beers, you'll keep drinking Raku, an original shochu cocktail with various herbs that is refreshing and easy to drink. When in doubt, go to串八珍. Thank you for the meal!

I suddenly decided to drink in Shinjuku, so I used my smartphone to find a place with a large capacity and delicious yakitori, which led me to this restaurant. Normally, I go to a small place near Shinjuku Sanchome where the seating is limited, but the yakitori is always packed and delicious, so I compared it to that. Honestly, I didn't find it very tasty, it was kind of disappointing or just average. The prices seemed cheap at first, but the bill ended up being higher than expected, so I thought I should have just gone to my usual place. I ordered the rolled omelette and it came out in about 3 minutes, and it was obvious they just microwaved a pre-made one. Many other customers were ordering chicken hot pot, so maybe if you don't order that, the cost-effectiveness and taste might not be great. Overall, I feel like I don't need to try this place again for a second time.
