After drinking in Hakata, I stopped by here on my way home! I used to frequent this Hyakunenbashi branch back when I was a student or just starting out in the workforce, it was always my go-to ramen spot (now it's Hakataya)! It's been 290 yen for 30 years, right? What's the secret behind that? A friend to the common people. Thank you very much. The clear soup is a pork bone ramen that is "light" to the last drop! Sprinkle plenty of sesame seeds with a spoon, and also plenty of bright red pickled ginger. I'll have it with firm noodles! Slurp... The soup allows you to feel the pork bone flavor even within its lightness! Thin slices of chashu, floating lard. Full of junk food vibes! Perfect for a post-drinking meal! It goes well with the "Asa Ramen" that the parent company Showa Food Industry was pushing at one point (lol). Another delicious night! Thank you for the meal! The night breeze after eating ramen on the way home always feels oddly pleasant.

This is good. Tonkotsu ramen 290 yen. Toppings: pickled vegetables +100 yen, boiled egg +120 yen. 8 dumplings for 250 yen. The tonkotsu ramen is light and easy to eat. It goes down smoothly, and the soup has a strong flavor, so there is a satisfying feeling. The pickled vegetables topping was a good choice. The dumplings are bite-sized and easy to eat. I think 4 dumplings (160 yen) would have been enough. I left feeling full. I wish there was a place like this near my home. It was around 10 pm on a Saturday, and the restaurant was popular with customers coming in continuously. When in Hakata, I would choose this over going to a food stall.

Surprisingly affordable price. I was amazed. Is it a light ramen? It might be good for those who don't like strong pork bone smell. It could be just right for a second round of food. It's a taste that was not found in the Tokai region.

A bowl of ramen for 290 yen. It's surprisingly cheap these days. The soup is light and refreshing. However, unlike the fake soup made with lard and skim milk at a Tokyo chain of Hakata-style ramen shops, this one has a proper tonkotsu flavor. The noodles are also their own thin straight noodles. The portion is generous, and there's no hint of trying to upsell you on extra noodles. This time, I tried the Char Siu Ramen (490 yen) with added wood ear mushrooms (+50 yen). The Char Siu is thin but plentiful, which is nice. The wood ear mushrooms are crunchy and satisfying. This is good. No, this is great. If they can offer this taste for 290 yen, it makes you wonder what other restaurants are doing. I highly recommend this ramen positively. This review is from "Tokyo Totteoki!!". I visited "Hakataya Hyakunenhashi" to try the amazing 290 yen ramen that I had been wanting to check out for a while. The nearest station to the restaurant is Nishitetsu Hirao Station. The nearest station to my hotel is Watanabe-dori Station. It took me about 13 minutes to get to Nishitetsu Hirao Station. When I arrived, I used a map to navigate to the restaurant. Oh? It seems like my hotel is showing up on the map. It's only about a 10-minute walk from my hotel. Without local knowledge, it would have been difficult. I ended up taking a roundabout way for no reason. I actually wanted to go to the Nakasu Kawabata branch, but they stopped being open 24 hours, so I chose this restaurant instead. They are not open 24 hours either, but they open at 10 a.m. Now, after that long introduction, I ordered the following from the ticket machine: Hakata Ramen for 290 yen and double mushrooms for 100 yen. It's so cheap! In Kagoshima, the cheapest is "Menmentei" for 400 yen (it used to be 200 yen about 30 years ago), so 290 yen is truly amazing in this day and age! I ordered the Hakata Ramen and double mushrooms with extra firm noodles! The noodles are straight and thin, and they go well with the soup. The soup is light but has a good depth, with a mild tonkotsu flavor and a hint of salt ramen-like taste. Well, considering it's a 290 yen ramen, I think the taste is more than enough! There are condiments on the table such as chili oil, pickled ginger, ramen sauce, and pepper, so you can enjoy changing the flavor halfway through! The taste is at a normal delicious level, but for 290 yen, it's more than enough! Thank you for the meal!

Located in the middle of Hirao and Kiyokawa, near the river, "Hakataya Hyakunenbashi-ten" is a ramen shop where you can enjoy a bowl of tonkotsu ramen for only 290 yen. With a parking lot available, this shop stands out for maintaining its affordable price amidst price increases at other establishments. Currently, there are 8 "Hakataya" locations in Fukuoka Prefecture. I ordered ramen and gyoza from the ticket machine and found the simple bowl with green onions and chashu to be delicious with its light seasoning. Adding sesame seeds and pickled ginger from the table keeps the flavor interesting. They used to be open 24 hours, but now have set hours from 10:00 to 23:00. The option for an extra serving of noodles for 100 yen was popular among taxi drivers. Overall, it's a high cost-performance restaurant. My companion suggested we have a snack of ramen! Let's go try the 280 yen ramen at Hyakunen Bridge! When we arrived, we found out that the price had been raised to 290 yen. Still, it's incredibly cheap! Most of the customers seem to come from the pachinko parlor next door. Thank you for the meal!

I was planning to go to a restaurant for lunch, but it was closed, so I decided to go to this place instead. I ordered my usual ramen with firm noodles. It came out quickly and was delicious. The soup was refreshing and the chashu was tasty. I also got an extra serving of noodles, added garlic and sesame for extra flavor. The ramen was only 290 yen, with the extra noodles costing 100 yen. I was very satisfied. This place is a happy ramen shop.

I had been curious about this place for a while and finally paid a visit. Despite the sign saying it's open 24 hours, it actually closes at 11 pm. I was shocked by the prices when I saw them on the ticket machine. A bowl of ramen costs only 290 yen, and a set meal with gyoza and rice is 580 yen. Ramen Set Meal 580 yen: The ramen had thin noodles in a light tonkotsu broth that was close to a salt-based flavor. It was light but not bland, with a gentle taste. The broth gave the impression that it would also be good as ochazuke. On the table, there were condiments like chili oil, pickled ginger, ramen sauce, and pepper, so you could adjust the taste as you like. The gyoza was a light and not too strong flavor. They were small in size but easy to eat and went perfectly with the rice. You could get an extra serving of noodles for 100 yen. I definitely want to come back.

I purchased a ticket at the Hakata Ramen Hyakunenhashi store, informed the staff of the firmness of the noodles, and sat down. Water is self-service. The food comes out quickly, so it's perfect for those in a hurry. The prices are very cheap. You definitely need to get an extra serving! The taste is light, so you can adjust it to your liking. I hope it continues to thrive for a long time.

Located about a 5-minute walk from Nishitetsu Hirao Station, this place received a rating of 3.06 when visited. It is a famous shop for Hakata ramen, with a bowl of tonkotsu ramen priced at 290 yen and a special chashu ramen at 490 yen. They offer tonkotsu ramen at an incredibly low price of 290 yen per bowl. I never imagined finding a bowl of ramen for less than 300 yen in this day and age. The ramen comes with thinly sliced chashu and features a rich tonkotsu soup. I requested the noodles to be cooked firm. The taste of the soup may seem a bit light to some, but considering the quality, even at 490 yen, it is still a great deal. I was pleasantly surprised. Thank you for the meal. Definitely give it a try!

During the state of emergency, some ramen shops have already resumed 24-hour operations. I noticed a sign posted on one of the ticket machines, indicating that they are back to being open 24 hours. While I usually prefer a quick meal and leave, I find that each Hakata ramen shop has its own unique flavor due to their individual soup-making methods. Among them, I don't frequent the Hyakunenhashi shop as much, as I find the taste to be lacking. The Katagasu shop is the best in my opinion, while I'm not a fan of the Nishijin shop. The Hyakunenhashi shop seems to have a slightly off-putting taste, with a lingering starchy smell in the noodle broth. Despite the ongoing state of emergency, many people are happy that these shops are open, making them valuable establishments.

Hakata Ramen KATAYA Hyakunenhashi is operated by Showa Food Industry as a franchise. The store is located right across from the Wonderland Hyakunenhashi store. There is also free parking available, so those coming by car can rest assured! It operates on a ticket system, where you enter, put money into the ticket machine on the left, and order your favorite ramen, set meal, or side menu. This time, since I visited right after waking up, I ordered the simple ramen for 290 yen with extra firm noodles. Although the ramen shop used to be open 24 hours, the current hours are from 10:00 to 23:00 until the end of 2021. It takes less than 2 minutes from ordering to serving, so it's stress-free! You can also enjoy changing the flavor by adding free toppings like pickled ginger, sesame, and ramen sauce! A refill of noodles costs 100 yen! Even then, the total comes to 390 yen! You can get full for less than 500 yen! There are also branches in Nakasu Kawabata and Nishijin, but the taste may vary slightly depending on the store, so find your favorite one! The gyoza is also cheap and delicious, so I recommend it! Hakata Ramen Hakataya is a well-known cheap ramen shop in the local area, offering a bowl of tonkotsu ramen for 290 yen (tax included). The first branch opened in 1976, and now there are multiple branches in Fukuoka. I visited the Hakataya branch located in Minami-ku, Fukuoka, near Nanokawa, which is open 24 hours a day and popular among customers from the nearby pachinko parlor. The menu includes various options, and you purchase your order from a ticket machine. The tonkotsu ramen is light and watery, but satisfying to eat quickly. I opted for the moyashi ramen as the vegetable ramen was no longer available, along with a side of gyoza. The gyoza is more like frozen dumplings you would find in a supermarket. Overall, it was a good and affordable meal.

At night, I stumbled in to have a bowl of ramen. It's amazing that you can eat ramen for only 290 yen! Even though I shouldn't have, I got an extra serving and now I'm full. By the way, I noticed that most of the male customers there ordered their noodles "extra firm". It seems like Hakata locals prefer their noodles that way. Thank you for the meal.

Here it is! Eating ramen late at night is not recommended, but when you want to indulge, go for the healthier option - Hakataya Ramen. Located next to a pachinko parlor called Wonderland on Hyakunenhashi Street towards Hirao. Only locals seem to know about this place! However, as the night gets later, more customers start coming in. The interactions between the late-night staff are quite entertaining. A bowl of ramen costs only 290 yen, a steal. I always order the same thing - ramen, spicy pickled vegetables, bean sprouts, and an extra serving of noodles. All for 590 yen, making it a decent-sized meal. The taste is average, reminiscent of the traditional light Nagahama ramen. But the best part is, it doesn't leave you feeling heavy the next day! This is the key for those in their 40s! Thank you for the meal!

This is a 24-hour pork bone ramen shop located along Byakko Bridge Street. To be honest, I think only locals go there (laughs). A bowl of ramen costs only 290 yen, which is a bargain! The taste is more on the light side rather than the trendy "rich" style. But this is the traditional Hakata ramen. It's more like a snack than a meal (laughs). And the lightness somehow makes you feel like it's better for your body than the ramen you usually eat. The shop has two seats, counter and table, and it's always clean. Even late at night, it's a beloved local shop that never lacks customers. I like to add bean sprouts and pickled mustard greens as toppings, which makes it 490 yen. When you think about it, it's a normal price ^_^

After returning from the Ebisu festival, I was feeling a bit hungry so I was looking for a ramen shop. I decided to go to Hakkataya Ramen, which is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. I used to eat their ramen with lots of grated garlic in the past, but this time I decided to hold back on that. It's a nostalgic place for me, as I used to eat there after school about 20 years ago. The price is reasonable at 290 yen.

For our final meal in Hakata, we visited a shop where you can enjoy pork bone ramen at a dramatic low price. Surprisingly, a bowl of ramen costs only ¥290! Intrigued by the cheap price and 24-hour operation, we decided to give it a try. The area around the shop is a parking lot for customers, so it took a bit of time to find the entrance, but once inside... Upon checking the menu on the ticket machine, we found that ramen costs ¥290, extra noodles for ¥100, and a ramen set with gyoza and rice for ¥580 - all very affordable! We quickly bought tickets for ramen and extra noodles, handed them to the staff, and ordered firm noodles. After filling a cup with water from the cold water dispenser and returning to our seats, the ramen was served promptly! The pork bone soup was light and gentle in flavor, and the straight thin noodles were delicious. Adding extra noodles and topping them with sesame seeds, then pouring some ramen sauce and adding pickled ginger, the flavors enhanced. The shop was constantly busy, with customers coming in one after another, especially for those who use cars for work and can enjoy affordable and decent food with parking available. It made me realize that there are hidden gems loved by locals that may not have high ratings on food review websites. The tasty pork bone ramen was a delightful meal.
