I finally bought it after being intrigued by the shop in front of the parking lot for a while. The shop was tall and had a variety of options, most of which had gorilla names, which was amusing. I bought three and quickly moved my car. Then I enjoyed it. It was light and fluffy, making it tastier than chain stores. They also had puddings, so I thought I would go back to buy more. As a fan of donuts, I decided to stop by. It was around 3:00 PM on a weekday. The shop is located along National Route 310. It is across from "Osaka City University Nakaheburi Campus Shirasagimon". You can easily spot it by the prominent blue and yellow awnings. The first floor of a somewhat old two-story building has been converted into a store. The store section has been nicely renovated. You can catch a glimpse of the interior through the glass door at the entrance. There doesn't seem to be a dedicated parking lot, but there are several coin-operated parking lots in the vicinity. The interior of the shop has a stylish and woody atmosphere. Surprisingly, it has quite some depth. There is a space for selling donuts in the front, and the back is set up as an eat-in area. Several lovely young women are managing the place. There were nearly 20 types of donuts available. Many of them had simple visuals. Baked goods, rare cheesecakes, puddings, and more were also being sold. The prices were normal to reasonable. I purchased "Gorilla Donut (Plain) for 180 yen", "Black Gorilla (Chocolate) for 200 yen", "Tropical Gorilla (Coconut) for 230 yen", and "Tropical Gorilla (Banana) for 230 yen" (all including tax). They were all ring-shaped. I tried the "Gorilla Donut" and found it to be fluffy, moist, with a light chewiness. It had a subtly sweet and simple flavor, with a unique nuttiness and mild richness. Quite delicious. It made me crave cold milk. My companions tried the other donuts, and they all said they were tasty. I wish I had tried them too...

I've always been curious about this donut shop♡ It's near Osaka Prefectural University in Nakamozu! I wonder if it changed its name to Osaka Public University? I don't know, but there were a lot of students around the shop, which made me a bit envious. This time, I am following the new shop hunter (*'ω'*). I bought about four types of donuts, including the classic Gorilla Donut and a dark chocolate honey lemon flavor. I think this place used to be a hamburger shop. The donuts were taken back to the office, cut into pieces, and tasted. The cheapest plain donut is a safe choice. The one made with rye whole wheat and almond milk is described as having a rich flavor. It may look simple, but it has a delicate taste inside! A sister store of Gorilla Bake in Toyonaka has opened in Shirasagi♪ It is located along Route 310, in front of Osaka Public University (Fudai). The previous hamburger shop seems to have closed down. On the opening day, after finishing my morning work, I went to check it out and there was no line, still plenty left! Maybe it's not well known yet? Inside the store, there are showcases on both sides. You pick up the items yourself and pay at the counter. Besides donuts, there are many baked and fresh sweets from Gorilla Bake. I bought Gorilla Donuts, Black Gorilla, Gorilla Muffin (chocolate), and Gorilla Pudding. When I got home, we had a snack time with everyone right away♪ The popular Gorilla Donuts are definitely recommended! The fluffy texture is indescribable and I love it♡ It's not like Honey Dip or Angel Cream, the dough is filled but still fluffy. The chocolate version of Black Gorilla also has the same texture and was delicious. I also tried the Gorilla Pudding. They caramelize it after you order at the store. It's basically like a creme brulee. The inside is creamy and gooey, and it was also delicious. I will definitely go back for more♡ It would make a great gift too!!
