Inside, there were various rooms such as a science room and a playground. The seats were wooden desks and chairs like in school. The appetizer was unlimited snacks. The menu included school lunch classics like fried bread, soft noodles, and milk caramel, which brought back nostalgic memories as we ate. The experiment-like presentation of the drinks was also interesting. The staff were referred to as "teachers." There were written tests with different contents depending on the day, and if you take the test and answer all the questions correctly, you may receive a gift, but it was quite challenging! It seems like the focus of this restaurant is more on enjoying the atmosphere rather than the taste of the food.

I was interested in the meals and snacks, so I went to a course that included all-you-can-eat snacks. Since we had a private room, we were able to relax and enjoy without any noise. I wasn't expecting much from the food, but it was surprisingly delicious. The soft noodles brought back nostalgic memories. There was a wide variety of snacks, which made for a great accompaniment. We also had a surprise quiz halfway through, which was unexpectedly difficult.

Visited on a Saturday evening. The shop had a retro atmosphere with a touch of Showa era charm! The menu looked like a school desk and class diary, which was exciting ✨ Inside the desk, there were textbooks and notebooks. The complimentary snacks were all-you-can-eat! The menu was a bit confusing... They had a wide variety of classic highball drinks, and some drinks were served in test tubes! The food included a Caesar salad where you inject the dressing with a syringe, and nostalgic school lunch menu items like fried bread. The staff is called "Sensei!" when you need them. It's a retro and lovely atmosphere where friends can have a great time, and surprisingly, it's a hidden gem that can be used for a date.

Elementary school-themed izakaya! It's a really fun concept izakaya! I've been here a few times (last visit date is included), and I recommend making a reservation for the all-you-can-eat course in advance for events like girls' night out. You get your own private room, and it's a great deal! Each private room looks like a classroom! With the course, they give you a little test towards the end and score it, which adds to the fun. Without a reservation, there's no test and the all-you-can-eat options are limited. The food is all delicious! The silverware and soft noodles give a nostalgic school lunch feeling. There's a snack buffet, and they offer rental props like a school bag and hats for photos! However, the school bag and hats are quite worn out and shabby. The staff, playing the role of teachers, are very friendly and may be a bit pushy, so it may not be recommended for those who don't like that style!

Going with friends from elementary school makes it even more nostalgic, and you can talk about how we've grown up (laughs).

Today I went on a standing bar tour in Ikebukuro, and this was the last stop at the 4th place! I requested to sit down here, but it's called "6th Grade Class 4" even though I was in 6th Grade Class 1 back in elementary school!! I wanted to eat the fried bread and soft noodles from the school lunch, and the inside of the restaurant is nostalgic with school bags, desks, and chairs. They offer all-you-can-eat snacks like nostalgic candies, Kinpira candy, and cup yogurt for a cover charge of 540 yen per person. We ordered a Highball for 410 yen, an adult milkshake for 540 yen, and made a toast! We also ordered Soft Noodle Meat for 432 yen, Soft Noodle Curry for 518 yen, Tomato Slice for 410 yen, Ham Cutlet for 518 yen, Croquette for 324 yen, Fried Bread for 324 yen, Salted Cucumber for 410 yen, Corn Butter for 432 yen, Quail Egg for 345 yen. The atmosphere is like an izakaya, and the menu is comforting. We also ordered Curry for 410 yen, Red Wine for 410 yen, Green Tea Highball for 432 yen, and finished with a Breast Ice Cream for 302 yen. The total bill came out to around 12,500 yen. The restaurant is full of elementary school vibes, and the staff won't come to you unless you call them, giving a sense of being left alone. It's fine for this type of place though. We had a lively conversation about our elementary school lunch memories, took a commemorative photo with our school bags, and reminisced about the good times. The environment back then was different from today, with some teasing but nothing extreme like murder or serious injuries, and there were no shut-ins. It was a peaceful and good time to grow up in, and I think about how lucky I was to have experienced that. I still meet up with my friends regularly and have a drink, and today was one of those times. It was a fun and enjoyable moment at a place I've always wanted to visit.

After leaving Banbayu, the last stop for today was Kaorin's request, Class 6-4 Ikebukuro Higashi-guchi branch. This izakaya serves nostalgic menu items that the middle-aged men and women enjoyed during their elementary school days. We toasted with a strawberry-flavored adult milk (500 yen excluding tax) - definitely not something I would usually drink, so I was pretty drunk. The appetizers were chosen by everyone. - Tomato slices (380 yen excluding tax) - Quail eggs (320 yen excluding tax) - Cucumber with salted sauce (380 yen excluding tax) - Soft noodles with curry sauce (480 yen excluding tax) - Soft noodles with meat sauce (400 yen excluding tax) - Sugar-coated bread from school lunches (300 yen excluding tax) - Detour purchase and eat Menchi Katsu (380 yen excluding tax) maybe? - Homemade ham katsu (480 yen excluding tax) maybe? - Corn butter (400 yen excluding tax) - Ice cream in the shape of breasts (280 yen excluding tax) Each person had to order at least 2 items, so even though it was the fourth stop, it was quite a lot of food (laughs). I don't remember eating any of it, but I do remember Kaorin sucking on the breast-shaped ice cream. Finally, we had red wine (380 yen excluding tax) to finish off the night. Today was supposed to be a standing bar tour, but we only went to one. Still, it was fun, so it's all good. I wonder what kind of tour we'll do next time? Everyone, great job!

It was nice that the dagashi (cheap sweets) were all-you-can-eat. The soft noodles were nostalgic and delicious! It was great to have a private room to relax in. However, one staff member was quite aggressive towards a specific foreign staff member in a loud voice that could be heard by customers, which was a bit disappointing. It was so cute (tears). I couldn't understand why they could act that way (tears). But aside from that, I had a good time and enjoyed my visit.

Fried bread and other foods at this restaurant have a nostalgic feel of old-fashioned candy stores, not too delicious but just right with a nice cheapness. It's a dish to enjoy along with the atmosphere of the shop. There are various rooms, which was also fun. Thank you for the meal.

I am deeply grateful for the thoughtful consideration of the staff. I made a mistake with the reservation date, but they kindly accommodated me. The all-you-can-eat sweets option is great for families with children. It brings back memories of school lunches. Smoking is allowed.

The staff acted like teachers and spoke in a casual manner. They had unique personalities and were very skilled. There were two places with all-you-can-eat snacks, with more variety than a snack bar. The Japanese test was a normal test.

My friend wanted to eat soft noodles, so we went to this concept izakaya. We chose the only course with soft noodles, the Class Reunion Course (4000 yen). And with a coupon, it came with a 3-hour all-you-can-drink option! I've been abstaining from alcohol for a while, so I stuck to soft drinks, which was not a problem. The izakaya had a school theme with small desks where you could take pictures with school bags. It might be a bit risque for anyone other than elementary school girls (let's stop there). The 4000 yen course included: - All-you-can-eat dagashi (cheap snacks) - Meatballs - Salad - Assorted sashimi test - Octopus-shaped sausages - "Bug cage observation" which was basically a deep-frying fest - Soft noodles - Fried bread - Frozen mandarin orange test results announcement I won't comment on the food, sorry. The fried bread was quite delicious though. The tests were unexpectedly serious! The restaurant definitely sticks to its concept, but I have to admit, the food testing was a bit intense.
