Lately, I've reached an age where I can't eat as much as I used to, so all-you-can-eat is tough for me now haha. This time, I ordered dishes individually. When I was younger, I could eat a lot, but next time I'll come with younger colleagues who can eat a lot.

For dinner, my husband and I visited this place and sat in a semi-private area where we could relax. There were a lot of families dining, and it was nice to see kids running around nearby. It was heartwarming. Each of us had one dessert. In the past, we used to order Yukimi Daifuku, but it was no longer available, which was disappointing. This time, we chose the matcha dessert here. ♥️

Chain restaurants are not something we usually go to, but as a couple who loves vegetables, we decided to try out a chain restaurant called "Onyasai" on a weekday. To our surprise, the place was packed with customers! They offer all-you-can-eat options and a wide variety of à la carte dishes. The baked potatoes were delicious and the salted fish roe was a nice touch. The meat was a bit dry and tough, but overall not bad and no unpleasant smell. As the name suggests, the vegetables were incredibly fresh and there were even some unique vegetables with a satisfying crunch. They also offer water dumplings and potato mochi, which was a nice addition. Not only do they have rice and udon for the last course, but also cold udon as part of the all-you-can-eat menu. Don't underestimate chain restaurants with all-you-can-eat options...the vegetables were really delicious! They even offer toys for kids, so it's a great option for families with growing children. We can get our vegetable fix here and it might become a regular dining spot for us.

I arrived at the restaurant around 5 pm on February 14th. It was an early time, so I thought I could avoid some of the weekend crowds and enjoy a leisurely meal. As expected, the restaurant was only about 30% full. Three adults were enjoying their meal leisurely. We ordered the Akagi pork and selected beef shabu-shabu. The broth options were soy milk and spicy hot pot broth. The soy milk was creamy and popular with women, while the hot pot broth was quite spicy and more suited for men. When we added the spicy meatballs to the hot pot broth, it became really spicy, but delicious! At one point, a staff member recommended diluting the broth, but they clearly diluted it too much... the soy milk turned from creamy to the color of Calpis Water. We had to stop them before it was too late. The restaurant itself has a good variety of food options, which I like, but the inexperienced staff made several noticeable mistakes. They didn't explain that there were separate dipping sauces available, and the magnetic menu for changing the meat selection depending on the course was missing, causing confusion about whether we could order more meat or not. As more customers arrived, we noticed that it took a long time to get our drinks, even though we only ordered one drink. We had to remind them three times before we finally got it... This restaurant offers a 2-hour all-you-can-eat option, but we ended up staying for 2 and a half hours (laughs). Providing drinks quickly should be a basic rule in the food and beverage industry, but it didn't seem to be the case here. Also, it was quite dangerous to have small children running around the aisles making a lot of noise. We heard the sound of dishes being overturned and breaking twice... Of course, the parents are mostly to blame, but the staff should also step in and ask the children to stay seated for safety. On a different note, the shrimp meatballs that you mix and put in the hot pot were delicious. For the finish, we had soy milk - cheese shabu-shabu with soy milk risotto, and hot pot - stylish green onions with Chinese noodles and sesame sauce for tantan noodles, which were all delicious! I like the restaurant itself, so I hope the staff will improve a bit more! I look forward to what's to come. (；＾ω＾)
