I'm glad I could come here as I was curious. I couldn't decide between the hamburger and the ginger pork, so I chose the ginger pork. I should have asked for the salad to be served separately... The second half of the salad tasted a bit salty. The corn soup was creamy and delicious. I will come back for the hamburger next time.

On Sunday at 5:30 PM, I was worried about waiting in line, but luckily there was no wait for a table. Dining alone is the best! I ordered the teriyaki steak and salad for 1580 yen and waited for about 10 minutes. The restaurant was full and then the dishes arrived! Let's dig in. Mmm, delicious! The steak was thick and lean, more like a Western-style steak without any marbling, but it didn't taste like yakiniku at all, probably because of the sauce. The meat and the sauce complemented each other perfectly, a true marriage of flavors. The salad was generous, almost too much since I ate the meat quickly. Oh, I should have eaten more veggies first, but the deliciousness of the meat made me forget. I will definitely come back. Thank you for the wonderful meal, it brought me happiness.

*Teriyaki Mix and Salad ¥1480* *Grill Set ¥600* This Western-style restaurant is always crowded whenever you go. The salad included in the restaurant name is truly delicious ✨️ It's piled high with vegetables, enough for your daily intake. The main dishes are a greedy set where you can enjoy both the popular steak and shiso chicken cutlet! Rice is sold separately, but because the salad portion is so large, women can feel full with just the side dishes ( ˊᵕˋ ;) I'm curious about the cream croquette, so I want to try other menu items next time ♬.*゚

I visited on a Monday before the Obon holiday in August. At 11:10, there were 8 people waiting, and at the opening time, there were 15 people waiting. I ordered the daily lunch special (Japanese-style tonkatsu) for ¥1,050 and a banana juice from the service menu for ¥100. Since I had plans after lunch, I chose the daily lunch special. When asked if I wanted the banana juice anytime, I said it was fine. The lunch arrived first in about 10 minutes. The banana juice arrived later. The salad dressing was light and not too sour, which was delicious. Of course, the tonkatsu was also good, and the juice was tasty, not just at the ¥100 level.

Located a 3.4-minute walk from Kyoto Kawaramachi Station, this Western-style restaurant with a rating of 3.51 on Tabelog caught my interest with its name "Salad Shop." I visited around 5:30 pm on a Saturday, and despite being the first in line, I had to wait a bit as the place was fully booked. The menu included a "Minced Cutlet Mixed Salad Set" for 1,580 yen and a "Grill Set" for 600 yen. The Grill Set came with a choice of scallop consommé soup or corn potage, seasonal fruit juice, and rice or roll bread. I opted for the scallop consommé soup and rice. The salad preparation was serious here, with fresh vegetables cut, chilled in cold water, and seasoned with dressing. The scallop consommé soup had a refreshing taste with a crunch from onions and scallops. The salad was so generous that I had to eat it alongside other dishes. The Minced Cutlet had a nice touch with basil and melty cheese inside. The ketchup-based sauce was delicious. The teriyaki steak had a good texture and a flavorful sauce that paired well with rice. Despite initially thinking it might not be enough, the meal left me fully satisfied. The total bill came to 2,180 yen, a bit pricey but considering the quality and portion size of each dish, it was worth it. I would definitely consider visiting again. Bon appétit!

I finally tried out the restaurant that always has a long line, and it was amazing! The salads were incredibly delicious, especially the dressing - I wanted to go for seconds. Of course, the meat, chicken cutlet, and curry were also incredibly tasty. I got a stamp card, so I definitely need to go back again!

Lunchtime. Even though it was 30 minutes before opening, there was already a line. By the time they opened, there was a line of about two rounds. This time, I had the A lunch special on a holiday. The fresh juice was banana! The rice was also delicious! The waiting time tends to get longer for the second round, so it's recommended to go early.

I went to a restaurant today that always has a long line during lunchtime. They offer a choice of main dishes like hamburger and chicken cutlet, which come with salad, soup, and rice or bread. I ordered the chicken cutlet with shiso cheese, and the hamburger & crab cream croquette. The crispy cutlet with shiso cheese was amazing. The restaurant has 4 table seats and a counter, giving off a classic Western-style diner vibe. It feels like a place loved by many, and I will definitely go back again.

I finally fulfilled my long-awaited dream of having lunch at this place! Everything looked so delicious that I couldn't decide, but choosing the Terikoro lunch set was definitely the right decision! The salad side dish was so good that it made the restaurant name make sense. It was a bit of a wait, but still worth eating here. They also offer a mini juice (which is not really mini) for an additional 100 yen, and it was super delicious and highly recommended.

Teriyaki lunch for 1250 yen, available only on weekdays. Usually there is a long line before opening, but on this day we were able to get in without waiting, perhaps due to the weather. The salad is crunchy and delicious with pepper seasoning. The teriyaki sauce uses white miso as a hidden flavor, making it a perfect match with the rice. They can also serve the salad and main dish separately, which is great for those who don't like the salad's moisture mixing with the teriyaki sauce.

Today, I went to the "Sancho Salad Restaurant Kawaramachi Main Store" in Kawaramachi, Kyoto. I had been curious about it since my time in Kyoto, but I always gave up because of the long lines. However, I decided to gather my courage and finally visited this time. As expected, there was a huge line! It was tough to wait in the hot weather in this bustling area full of young people, but nothing beats the appetite. As soon as I entered, I ordered the C Lunch set, which included teriyaki steak, crab cream croquette, shrimp fry, salad, rice or roll bread, and today's fresh juice (banana juice). It felt like a lunch for grown-up kids! As it's a salad restaurant, there were plenty of vegetables! The Sancho special dressing complemented the crisp freshness of the vegetables. The shrimp fry was springy, making a satisfying crunch when bitten. The crab cream croquette was consistently good. The teriyaki steak was seasoned with a sweet and savory flavor that I liked. The restaurant itself has been around for about half a century, giving off a nostalgic atmosphere. Both young and old would enjoy this place. Western food is always a good choice. I definitely want to come back when I have the energy.

Sancho in Kawaramachi is always a popular and reliable restaurant. This time, I ordered the Select Set with Hamburg and Beef Cutlet as the mains, Shrimp Salad for the salad, and Scallop Consomme Soup for the soup. The cost performance is good, and the taste is consistently delicious. Thank you for the meal.

When I was transitioning from a child to an adult, a friend from my school days took me to "Akahyoutan" in Sannomiya for my first outing with friends. Up until then, I had only dined out with my family at our usual spots, so going to "Akahyoutan" with friends was quite a shocking dining debut for me. "Akahyoutan" was known for its salads, but I recently found out that the owner had passed away suddenly. I heard that the owner had trained at "Akahyoutan" in Shijo Kawaramachi and came here out of nostalgia. There is a wait for 5 people, so I line up at the end of the line. The daily special today is Pork Saute Curry Flavor. The Pork Saute Curry Flavor has tender lean pork with a subtle curry spice aroma. I liked that the curry flavor wasn't overpowering but rather a subtle hint. The salad, a signature of Akahyoutan, with Southern Island-style dressing, pairs well and can be eaten all the way to the end without getting tired of it. Here is the Teri Coro Lunch that my companion ordered. It includes Teriyaki steak, crab cream croquette, and a mountain of salad on one plate. I chose lemon from the 4 options of mini fresh juices as an add-on - banana, lemon, banana yogurt, and pineapple yogurt. 572 Nakanocho, Kamishijo-agaru, Ura Teramachi-dori, Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture.

This Western-style restaurant offers excellent salads and dishes. The dressings and sauces for the fries are all unique and delicious. You can add fresh fruit juice to the lunch set for an extra 100 yen.

On a Saturday night, I waited for almost 20 minutes to get in. I ordered the Max Grill's teriyaki steak and hamburger and grill set for 1580 yen. As the name "Salad Shop" suggests, the salad was delicious and very filling. (There was plenty of mayonnaise-based dressing, so if you're aiming for health, you might want to go easy on it.) But more importantly, the meat was delicious too! The steak was very tender, and the hamburger was juicy. I didn't order it myself, but rice or bread needs to be ordered separately.

On Friday night around 7:00 PM, waited for about 20 minutes and ordered a combination salad and rice for about 1500 yen. As rumored, the amount of salad was amazing, and the dressing was delicious. The hamburger and crab cream croquette were average, nothing particularly outstanding, but still tasty when freshly made. I'd like to avoid the salad's moisture and dressing seeping into other dishes, so next time I plan to ask for the salad and side dishes to be served separately. It would be convenient if they accepted credit cards or QR code payments.

It was my second visit. I waited for about 30 minutes alone, and luckily a single seat became available, so I felt like I hit the jackpot without having to wait for a group of 6. The dressing on the salad was quite strong, so it might be better to order it on the side. I ordered the B brunch on a weekend. Last time I had rice, so this time I chose bread. For men, having both bread and rice might be just right. The cost performance is not great, but the taste was good! I will go again!

Dinner - Crab cream croquette - rice set I visited right after the dinner time opening. The restaurant was full immediately. Anyway, the lettuce-based salad is really delicious! Despite the generous portion, I didn't get tired of it until the end, and I could eat a lot. It seems that several types of dressings are used. There are also three large barrel-shaped cream croquettes. The slightly sweet sauce goes well with them.

A long-established Western-style restaurant with plenty of salad in Kyoto's Nakagyo Ward. Salad restaurant Sancho. On this evening, after work, without deciding on a dinner place, I took a walk from Shijo-Karasuma through Nishiki Market to Shijo-Kawaramachi. Along the way, I stopped by a salad restaurant called Sancho on Uradera Street. I ordered the teriyaki steak and shiso-style chicken cutlet set. The order included teriyaki mixed salad, rice with extra serving, and scallop consommé soup. The grilled set was a good choice for a night stroll and a break from alcohol. By consuming plenty of salad, it's a healthy lifestyle. The set meal was satisfying and delicious. It's a Western-style restaurant with delicious salads! It's popular, so there's always a line on weekends - this time, we were lucky and got in smoothly. The service was quick, and surprisingly, the turnover is fast. The portions are quite generous, and we left feeling very full.
