On the day of the Ox in midsummer, I made a reservation and visited a restaurant. The first thing I noticed was that the restroom was surprisingly cool! That alone was a plus. We ordered a variety of dishes including tongue salt, wild field grill, rolled kalbi, sagari, shabazo, cholegi salad, napa cabbage kimchi, heart salt, beef bowl, curry rice on a sauce plate, half seaweed soup, almond pudding, and a few alcoholic and soft drinks. We started with the napa cabbage kimchi, cholegi salad, and tongue salt. The seasoning of the napa cabbage kimchi and the dressing of the cholegi salad were to our liking, and these two dishes got us excited. The tongue salt, when eaten with the broth, was delicious! The tongue itself was tasty, but thinly sliced and eaten with the broth was exceptional. The shabazo, made with offal and cabbage stir-fried in original sauce, made us want rice, so we ordered a small portion. The wild field grill, made by quickly grilling sirloin and dipping it in raw egg, was tasty but a bit fatty. The rolled kalbi, sagari, and heart were excellent, with the flavor and seasoning of the meat and offal being outstanding. As we debated between beef bowl and curry for the finish, they prepared curry in the sauce dish for us, showing their high level of hospitality. The beef bowl had a rich broth and incredibly tender meat, while the curry rice was full of the beef's richness and meaty flavor. The seaweed soup was also delicious and comforting. The prices were reasonable, and the quality of the meat, seasoning, and presentation were all top-notch.

Jumbo Hanare. It's right near the Hongo branch. Since it was a gathering of middle-aged men, I focused on lean cuts to avoid getting too much fat. We started with the sirloin steak grilled on the field. Then we had misuji (Chuck flap), uwamisuji (top blade), and harami (skirt steak). If you don't run away from the marbling, you can enjoy all of them. It may be a bit pricey, but having good quality meat in moderation and finishing it off slowly was a great adult barbecue experience. Thank you for the meal.

Thanks to a special occasion, I had the opportunity to visit Yakiniku Jumbo Hare on their 10th anniversary celebration day. On this day, in honor of their 10th anniversary, they offered a complimentary first drink and one piece of Nohara-yaki per person. The owner, Mr. Nambara, is amazing with his service!! We ordered the following dishes: Black Wagyu Tan-Hatsu (2 servings), Nohara-yaki (complimentary), Meat Sushi, Filet Katsu Rice, White Peach Sherbet. Although the top-grade Wagyu tongue was sold out, the regular tongue we ordered was still incredibly delicious. Jumbo is known for their amazing heart meat, which we could eat endlessly. The Nohara-yaki was also outstanding, impressing us every time with its deliciousness. Once you try it, you can't help but order rice. The person I went with particularly enjoyed the meat sushi. The Filet Katsu, which I tried for the first time, was incredibly tender. It was beef filet katsu, not pork, and I wished I could have tried it without the broth and egg topping. Since it was simmered in sauce, the flavor was indeed rich. Rice was a must. Lastly, the White Peach Sherbet was impressively delicious. It was the best sherbet I've ever had, truly capturing the deliciousness of the fruit. The meat and dishes served were delicious and fantastic!! Truly a representative restaurant of Tokyo. Congratulations on the 10th anniversary! I hope they continue to prosper and celebrate their 20th, 30th anniversaries, and beyond. It seems that they are becoming more popular with inbound tourists, making reservations even more difficult, but I will continue to strive to make reservations and visit. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I made a reservation online at a restaurant I've always wanted to go to two months ago. We ordered Hatsu salt for ¥1,350, Wild field grill for ¥4,100 (2 pieces), Eggs for ¥200 (2 pieces), Upper tongue salt for ¥1,900, Lamp roast for ¥2,750, Hormone for ¥1,200, Beef rice (small) for ¥11,000, Kimchi assortment for ¥1,250, Yukkejang soup (half) for ¥970, Ginger ale for ¥400, Beer for ¥720. The total was ¥26,760, paid by credit card. The beef rice needed to be reserved in advance. It was very greasy and rich, and after eating a lot of grilled meat, I couldn't eat it at all. The leftover rice was available for takeout, but it was still too heavy when I ate it at the hotel. It's a shame considering the high price. The Wild field grill and beef tongue were delicious though. I'm undecided about whether to go back or not, maybe not.

This was my third time at Yakiniku Jumbo Hanare this year. It was a feast of beef, and the Yabara Yaki was so tender that it could be swallowed without chewing. The chef grilled each piece carefully, leaving all the guests satisfied. The secret dish of beef cutlet stew and the final beef rice pushed my fullness meter over the limit. They are planning to open a branch in Indonesia next year, aiming to conquer the world. Yakiniku Jumbo Hanare is the best.

I made a reservation and visited on a Saturday night. I had been to Yakiniku Jumbo a few times before, but this was my first time at Hanare. I reserved the gyudon (beef rice) day and was able to secure a reservation. There were two of us, so we sat at the counter, and the staff's attention to detail was wonderful. The tongue was in short supply, with only one piece per person served. Next, we had the Nohara-yaki, which was like a combination of yakiniku and sukiyaki. The leftover egg can be enjoyed while dipping the yakiniku. The rare cuts like the triangular misuji were all really delicious. They also told us the appropriate cooking times for each type of meat. And then came the highlight, the gyudon. Thick slices of fillet meat mixed into the rice, creating a dish bursting with flavor. I'm glad I made a reservation. However, I ate too much meat and could only eat a little bit of rice, so I had the rest packed to go. I was able to enjoy it the next day as well. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

This was my 10th visit to the restaurant, and we were a group of 6 people. This time, the upper tongue salt was sold out for the first time. I was a bit disappointed because the upper tongue salt is usually limited in quantity here. However, everything else was as delicious as always. Since there were many first-time visitors, we had reserved the beef rice. Everyone seemed to enjoy it, but I personally might be getting a bit tired of it. I think I prefer the beef tartare rice. I forgot to take many photos.

I've been curious for a while, and finally made a reservation! The famous Nohara-yaki was delicious, and the tongue salt was so good that I highly recommend it. I often go out for yakiniku, but this was the best I've had so far. I will definitely go back! ❤️

I was brought by an acquaintance to dinner at this restaurant. I heard that you usually have to make a reservation. The interior of the restaurant was just the right size, not too large or too small, making it easy to use. The meat was very delicious, and the difference in taste compared to other restaurants was clear and easy to understand. There were also secret menu items that you have to inform them about when making a reservation, making it a great place to enjoy for business meetings or dates.

I was lucky to get a reservation at 19:00 and was impressed by the number of people from overseas dining there. I ordered thinly sliced beef tongue, shinshin, kalbi, diced beef, yakiniku, and hormone. The freshness of the ingredients and the seasoning were excellent, but what impressed me the most was the way the meat was sliced. The shape and thickness were beautiful.

I visited a famous yakiniku restaurant in Tokyo that I had been curious about for a while. I made a reservation for 2 people at 9:00 PM on a Saturday two months in advance. The prices are a bit high, but everything from the speed of service, food explanations, and customer service to the high-quality meat is top-notch. I highly recommend the Yohara-yaki, it's absolutely delicious. Even though I usually avoid fatty cuts of meat, the meat here has a refined taste and goes down smoothly. I don't often visit this area, so I can't go frequently, but both my companion and I were very satisfied. If I can make a reservation again, I definitely want to go back.

I have been taken to this restaurant a few times, and the rice cooked in an iron pot is delicious. This time, I didn't drink much so I could fully enjoy the meat. The omelette rice and curry for takeout are also very tasty. This souvenir is a must every time.

I made a reservation and visited on a weekday night. The speed at which the dishes were served was so fast that I was too busy eating to take pictures. I had Chorogi salad, kimchi assortment, white senmai sashimi, black wagyu top tongue, huts, shins, harami, and yahara yaki special cold noodles. I was impressed by the tongue and huts!! Especially the huts were surprising! They were tender, no smell, and delicious!! Please try them out. The quality of the meat at this price is reasonable! The rarity of getting a reservation adds to the enjoyment, haha. The casual atmosphere and self-grilling, along with high-quality meat at a reasonable price, seem to be the reasons for the high rating.

Everyone around me said that this is their favorite restaurant, so I've been wanting to come here for a long time. However, it's not in an area I usually visit, so I didn't have a chance until now. I had been to the Jumbo in Shirogane nearby a few times, but honestly, this was completely different! The fact that the owner himself grilled the meat made a huge difference, and the cooking was perfect from start to finish. I was constantly impressed. In particular, the cooking of the tongue and the deliciousness of the heart were so amazing that I was surprised. I occasionally eat heart at other restaurants, but honestly, you don't need to order it because it's not that special. But the heart here is a must-order, for sure. The original wild boar yakiniku was also delicious, and the elegant fatty meat (which I would normally avoid because it looks too fatty) was so easy to eat. Even though I was still recovering from a cold and my throat wasn't in great condition, the food at Jumbo was so delicious that my voice returned. Jumbo was truly amazing, even better than the rumors! I want to come back here as soon as possible.

The Noriyaki is dipped in egg and cooked sukiyaki-style, and it was absolutely delicious! The meat is seasoned with sauce, so I recommend ordering rice to enjoy together. Even though I was already full, the Chateaubriand at the end was amazing! ✨

Oh! So! Good! Yuke Roast Beef, premium tongue, rolled kalbi, seared sushi, and more... Everything from the oiliness, sauce seasoning, meat cutting, and texture is top-notch... The Yukkejang soup was sweet and just to my liking with extra sweetness! The cold noodles were Morioka cold noodles! I understand the taste change with shrimp oil, but I wish there was vinegar and mustard haha. I tend to avoid yakiniku because it can cause indigestion, but I would love to come back here. Best cost performance! I immediately made another reservation for the next available date!

My wife took me to Jumbo, a famous yakiniku restaurant in Hongo Sancho-me, which was about a 5-minute walk from the station. We made a reservation online 2 months ago, and the only available time slot was 5:00 PM on a Wednesday. The restaurant was very popular, as we could see. We were seated around 4:50 PM and the course started immediately. The atmosphere of the restaurant was upscale yet approachable. The dishes that came out together were: 1) Appetizers (napa cabbage kimchi, namul, salad) 2) Heart, premium kalbi 3) Field-grilled dish (sukiyaki style with egg) 4) Today's steak (this time it was sirloin) 5) Premium tongue, premium loin 6) Wagyu sushi 7) Harami skewers, misuji 8) Cold noodles, tail soup 9) Dessert Personally, the heart had no unpleasant smell, had a great texture, and was delicious. The sirloin steak was thick yet tender. And the cold noodles at the end were perfect. I can't speak for the high-end meats as I don't normally eat them, but please come and try it. You will surely be hooked.

I visit this restaurant about once a year. For me, the best dish here is the "Nohara-yaki". I also enjoyed the "Sagari" recommended by the staff. This time, I tried the "Hatsu" instead of the tongue. I like it, but it might be a matter of preference. The side dishes are also delicious and satisfying.
