I visited in the afternoon on a weekday. There is a paid underground parking lot at Tempozan Market Place. I took a break here after a long time at the aquarium. I ordered an iced coffee for 450 yen. I felt refreshed with the iced coffee on a hot day. Even on a weekday, the aquarium was crowded with people from China, Korea, Taiwan, as well as Westerners. The shop here was relatively empty. The Istanbul table on the 3rd floor had a better atmosphere though. The casual feel makes it easy to enter even with small children. On Sunday, June 18, 2023, I stopped by a cafe near Kaiyukan on my way back because I was extremely tired. The male staff at Kaiyukan were total jerks (two of them), trying to blame their mistakes on me. When I showed my electronic ticket, they stubbornly said, "You can't enter." But when I asked the female staff at the counter, she said, "You can enter," and suddenly they let me in. Then they had the nerve to say, "Be more careful next time," but it's their own fault for being idiots! They don't even realize how ridiculous they sound. Right from the start, they were unpleasant. The pathways at this Kaiyukan place were dark and narrow, like coming out of a large idol's dome concert, packed like sardines! There was no way to see the aquariums in such a crowd. Furthermore, it was full of strollers and little kids, chaotic! As for the cafe's food, it tasted like something a trainee made, edible but nothing special. I had the meal pancake for 1190 yen and orange juice for 480 yen. The price of the orange juice was outrageous, around 100 yen would be more reasonable. Some people might go crazy over paying 480 yen for it. Let's just call it a seating fee for now.

I found Mother Moon Cafe while looking for a cafe after visiting the aquarium. I ordered tea and lemon pancakes. The refreshing taste of lemon combined with the richness of the whipped cream made me devour them quickly. The honey-soaked lemon on top was also delicious.

After leaving the aquarium, I took a break here to try the Jinbeizame Ramune Soda that I found on SNS. The Jinbeizame Ramune Soda costs 580 yen. You order and receive your drink yourself, and also return it yourself. There are terrace seats available, making it a popular cafe. The Ramune soda has a design that resembles a Jinbeizame, which is really cute. It's just a regular soda, but the Jinbeizame design adds a nice touch. They accept PayPay as well. I've been to the aquarium many times, but this time I went to the back yard to see the Jinbeizame's feeding scene. Highly recommended.

Café located in front of the Osaka Aquarium. When I visited Osaka for work, I stopped by this café. They also have a branch in Kobe, but this café is self-service style. You order pancakes and iced coffee at the counter and pay. They give you a buzzer and you wait at your table. After about 10 minutes, the buzzer rings and you go pick up your order. The pancakes are just like in the menu photos, with a good amount. The pancakes themselves are not too sweet, and they go really well with the macadamia nut sauce. There are plenty of nuts on top of the pancakes, adding a nice touch. The café was busy with families and foreign tourists, given its location. The open atmosphere allowed me to relax while looking out at the aquarium. I plan to stop by again when I come back to Osaka and try a different flavor of pancakes. Thank you for the meal.

After visiting the aquarium, I took a little break! The amaou strawberry pancakes looked delicious, so I ordered them with a coffee! It was a Saturday, so it was quite crowded. Luckily, I managed to find a seat and enjoyed my coffee while eating the pancakes. The taste was just as good as it looked! The strawberries were also pretty tasty. Overall, it didn't disappoint me at all! It was a sweet moment enjoying sweet treats. Thank you for the meal!

I started my journey from Osaka Port Station, passing through Tempozan and the big Ferris wheel on my way to the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan in light rain. Along the way, I was drawn to the products of "Mother Moon Cafe." Before meeting the real thing, I took a break with their "Jinbei Ramune Soda" (580 yen). The soda had a relatively mild taste, with the ramune candy sinking to the bottom as a bonus. It was refreshing and easy to drink. After enjoying my drink, I made my way to the aquarium. I visited a cafe inside Tempozan Market Place, where you can see the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan from the terrace seats. I ordered a Jinbeilamne soda and a cafe latte. The cafe is self-service, so you can choose your own seat. The interior was a bit warm, so I tried sitting on the terrace, but there were a lot of spider webs under the tables and chairs, so I went back inside. Due to the COVID-19 situation, Tempozan was deserted with only Japanese people around, making the cafe quiet and the terrace seats felt a bit neglected. However, the Jinbeilamne soda was delicious.

The weather was nice, so I was invited to Tempozan. It was warm that day, so there were various events in the plaza of the Kaiyukan (*^-^)♪ Feeling a little thirsty, let's have some tea♪ Berry pancakes and iced tea✨ When you generously dip the light cream and sweet and sour berries, it's delicious (*^-^)♪ I feel a little lonely with the disposable plates, but I was able to relax and refresh myself.

I came here because I wanted to have coffee after a meal. It's right in front of the aquarium. The interior of the shop is bright, open, and has a stylish feel to it. There is also an open terrace. It was a weekday lunchtime, but there were no customers, so I was able to relax. I ordered a blend coffee. I paid and received it from the window next to me. By the time I finished paying and moved, my coffee was already ready. There was a sugar and milk corner on the right side. There were also lids, so you can customize it yourself. Coffee after a meal is really nice. The bitterness spreads throughout the mouth, creating a blissful moment.

This cafe in the Kobe area is a bit different from the trendy Mother Moon Cafe. It has more of a bustling atmosphere, like a food court. They also offer original menu items, such as the Jinbeizame Cider inspired by the aquarium. The cider contains ramune inside.

I didn't come to the aquarium, but I visited the port area on a sunny holiday. It was a hot day, so I sought refuge inside a building. I took a break at a cafe overlooking the plaza where events were happening in front of the aquarium. Even on scorching days, I usually drink hot coffee when I go to a coffee shop, but that day I ordered an iced cafe latte. It was a chain cafe without much emphasis on the taste of coffee. It was a self-service system, with the latte served in a plastic cup. The latte was topped with ice, whipped cream, and chocolate, very sweet. Despite the sweetness, it helped me relax. The table was made of aluminum and a bit unstable, so it wasn't the most comfortable place to sit. But that's typical of tourist areas. Menu ordered: Iced Cafe Latte 480 yen

After visiting the aquarium, I was tired from walking so I decided to take a break at Mother Moon Cafe. I ordered my first iced coffee of the year and added some cookies because I was craving something sweet. There were many Western visitors at the aquarium, so the area was bustling with people. It felt like things were returning to normal before the pandemic. Mother Moon was relatively quiet around 2 pm on a weekday, so I was able to relax. I had walked quite a bit earlier in the morning to see the nemophila flowers in Maishima, so the iced coffee was really refreshing. The nemophila festival was also attracting a lot of visitors.

The taste is delicious and the atmosphere of the restaurant is nice, but the turnover rate of the staff was a bit bad.

At Osaka Tempozan, "Mother Moon Cafe", I had a Jinbei Ramune soda and pancakes. My daughter shared a little bit of her pancakes with me. They were not too sweet, fluffy, and delicious!

I skipped lunch and had pancakes instead. The batter is moist and slightly chewy with a hint of saltiness. The light cream and toppings are well balanced.
