I visited the reception of the autumn afternoon tea & buffet "Autumn in France" starting from October 15th. The lobby lounge on the 1st floor was decorated with a chic display reminiscent of a visit to Paris in autumn colors, and the Halloween and Christmas versions of the afternoon tea set had a sophisticated seasonal atmosphere.
▪️The "Poire Belle Helene" was a glass dessert combining tea jelly and pear compote, with a striking Earl Grey aroma upon tasting.
▪️The "Grape Eclair" had a beautiful gradient, with a filling of red wine-flavored raisin jam, grape custard, and white chocolate cream with grape cassis on top, offering a rich grape flavor.
▪️The "Terrine Chocolat" used chocolate from Valrhona, sandwiched with autumn leaf shortbread, providing a rich and moist taste.
▪️The savory dishes incorporating French regional cuisine were also delightful, with the "Salmon mousse in a bucket" being smooth and light.
▪️The scones were very moist, and the clotted cream was milky and delicious, perfect for the autumn flavors of chestnut and brie cheese.
▪️The buffet had a wide variety, with the creme brulee crepe having blueberries inside for a sweet and sour taste, and the crepe with chicken and mushrooms being a recommended savory choice.
▪️I also tasted several types of Ronnefeldt tea from Germany. Among them, the "Irish Whiskey Cream" had the best aroma and became my favorite.
