Visit: February 11, 2023 (Saturday) around 8:00 PM
Cost: Approximately 5,900 yen (for 2 people)
This restaurant is conveniently located near my home, and I have visited it many times. Ever since I moved, I have been a fan of Nasubi. It is always bustling, whether it's a weekday or a holiday, and the front of the store is always filled with bicycles and mama-charis, showing that it is loved by the locals within walking or cycling distance. Despite the name suggesting Japanese cuisine, they offer various genres of food! Whenever I'm in a bind, Nasubi is the place to go.
On this day, my husband and I were lured in by the "February drink discount prices" posted in front of the store. We toasted with a highball and a large plain chu-hi!
<Recommended 5 kinds of sashimi>
It's no exaggeration to say that I came to Nasubi just for this(*´`*) The cost performance is unbelievable, and the sashimi is really fresh and delicious! The content is a surprise for the day, but there are always 1-2 extra types included, probably. The yellowtail was particularly delicious on this day.
<Oden>
The well-infused dashi was deliciously satisfying.
<Grilled eggplant>
The grilled eggplant was very soft and melty.
<Harami steak>
The sauce coated the meat well, and the flavor was solid. The meat was tender!
<Garlic pepper grilled chicken thigh>
My husband really liked this dish. The skin was crispy and the flavor was delicious!
<Dashimaki tamago>
We ended with a fluffy dashimaki tamago, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere like being back at home.
With so many menu options, I feel like I try something new every time except for the sashimi! I will definitely be going back soon(*´ω`*) Thank you for the meal♪

The menu is extensive, both drinks and food are cheap, everything I ate was delicious in a normal way (in a good way), the restaurant is clean, and you can also make reservations online. The usability of this place is really good. The pan-fried dumplings (380 yen) are my favorite type of dumplings! The skin is thick and chewy, the filling is not too heavy or too light, and it's perfectly juicy. The sweet sauce also goes well with it! My family loves these dumplings more than the ones from dumpling specialty shops. The appetizer selection (200 yen) changes daily, and you can choose your favorite. This system is good, and surprisingly, these appetizers are quite delicious. I wish they would add it to the menu as a standalone dish. The mixed noodles (580 yen) are delicious, but not what I expected for mixed noodles... it tastes more like Chinese flavors? The fatty tuna sashimi (350 yen) used to be more beautiful, though. The conger eel tempura (380 yen) is mostly vegetables, and the conger eel tempura itself was okay, but considering the price, it's acceptable. The squid omelette (480 yen) is served on top of a sesame-dressed salad with egg and sauce. The flounder bone senbei (280 yen) is too bony and the fried part is too much. The sea bream rice bowl (650 yen), grilled chicken (450 yen), spicy stir-fried pork (300 yen), deep-fried yellowtail collar (350 yen), seafood salad (580 yen), and salt-grilled beef tongue (750 yen) are all recommended. With all this food and drinks for 3 people, the total of 10,200 yen is cheap!

It's the end of the year, but I went out to eat with a friend. The restaurant we went to on this day is called Shunsai Sakaba Nasubi Bi, located just a short walk from the subway Imazato Station. It's a cozy izakaya with a wide variety of menu options, including delicious fish dishes. The restaurant is divided into smoking and non-smoking sections, and we were seated at a non-smoking table. I looked at the drink menu and ordered a Mega Highball, which was served generously with minimal ice. For the appetizer, we chose the fish nanban-zuke from the selection of otoshi dishes. Cheers~ From here, we continued to order food from the menu, which included daily recommendations such as snow crab, karasumi, and fugu sashimi at affordable prices. We started with a sashimi platter for two, which was a great deal with seven types of sashimi. The slices were generous and delicious. We also ordered the Thick-cut Steak, which was cooked perfectly and flavorful. The Frilly Potato Fries in curry flavor were addictive. We enjoyed our Mega Highballs and then switched to a sake from Nara called Omamare, which was dry and smooth. We also tried the Seco Crab Vinegar, which was tasty. The tempura of sand lance was a delight, and the homemade gyoza was delicious. The smoky seared bonito was a perfect pairing with the sake. We ordered another round of sake, this time from Wakayama called Kido, which was slightly sweet and enjoyable. We finished our meal with the delicious Tai Kamameshi, which was flavorful and filling. It was a great dining experience with good food, drinks, and conversation. I definitely want to come back to this restaurant again. Cheers to more good times ahead!

I went out for a meal after work. The restaurant I visited on this day is Nasubi Bi, a seasonal izakaya located about a 2-3 minute walk from the Imazato subway station. The menu is extensive, offering a variety of dishes. I ordered a highball from the drink menu and chose fish nanbanzuke and a Calpis chu-hai as my drinks. The appetizers included about 6 choices, and I selected fish nanbanzuke and potato salad. I started with a sashimi platter with 3 types of fish - bluefin tuna, amberjack, and seared mackerel. The bluefin tuna was particularly delicious. I then switched to a plain chu-hai and ordered wagyu beef teppanyaki, grilled dumplings, and fried squid tempura. I also had a second round of drinks with a dry sake. I enjoyed dishes like steamed pork and bean sprouts, and eel fried rice to finish off the meal. The food was affordable and tasty, and I would like to come back again for a leisurely meal.

Vietnamese exchange students are also working part-time at a creative izakaya right near Imazato Station. They offer a variety of appetizers and have plenty of seating with a diverse menu at affordable prices, making it perfect for gatherings. They serve gentle-tasting oden, flavorful diced steak in sauce, and the classic dashimaki. The menu is so extensive that it's overwhelming, with local specialty Imazato yakisoba featuring beef and thick noodles. The yakisoba pot is a steal at 780 yen per serving, available in salt, soy sauce, or miso flavors. The crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside fried beef tripe, and the tempura of conger eel are just a few of the many options available. The cheese ham cutlet is irresistibly delicious. To finish off, we had a hearty portion of motsunabe for two, adding ramen or udon at the end. See you again soon!

【September 2018】We visited a restaurant near Imazato intersection for dinner with my friend. Cheers! ● Fugu sashimi ● It's only 380 yen, so cheap!!! I always describe it as having a bland taste, but my friend said, "For people who can't eat raw fish, it doesn't have a fishy smell." I see. I'm impressed. It's great to be able to eat Fugu at this price. ■ Spring rolls ■ (380 yen) It says "homemade" on the menu. It definitely feels like it's not store-bought, with a homemade touch. It's like a light snack with a crispy, thin crust. The glass noodles inside enhance its healthy appeal. This is delicious! ● Grilled pig trotters ● (380 yen) It has a nice aroma from being grilled... but there was almost nothing to eat, so I just licked it. It's not bad if you think of it as a side dish. Including what my friend ordered, there were various delicious dishes, and I felt a bit overwhelmed by the "huh?" moments. However, the finale of the rice cooked in a pot was delicious. It's always great to have it freshly cooked right in front of you. All's well that ends well! Thank you for the meal.

Called by a friend to come to a shop. Nasubi-bi. Beautiful eggplant? It might be rude to say that, but there's a really cute waitress there!! Let's just call her Nasubi-chan haha. Definitely worth visiting! When I arrived, they had already finished the cheers. So, we went for hot pot! We ordered just one serving of motsu-nabe, which was great service! The warm soup was delicious. For sashimi, we had tuna, salmon, and flounder. The most delicious was the flounder! It had a nice texture and lingered in the mouth! It was delicious! The fish of the day was supposed to be hairtail! It was good in salt-grilled, but couldn't match the deliciousness of the saury that was served at the same time. So, I thought, why not catch a saury? The eel had been left out for a long time, the sauce had solidified. For the finishing touch, I had the Imazato yakisoba, which was like scallops, called "tsukigai" I think? It was not good (sweat). It was too crunchy and hard to eat. The recommended dish for the finish is the Imazato yakisoba! Lesson learned!

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was nice. However, it was a bit disappointing that the sashimi was dry and full of sinew. The cost performance was good, so I will definitely go again!

Second visit... The variety of food is amazing and all of it is delicious. Especially since it's an eggplant specialty, there are eggplant dishes on the menu as well.

Recently, I feel like there has been an increase in the number of food blogs. This time, I went to an izakaya (Japanese pub). It was a little while ago, but I went out to eat. The restaurant I visited that day is called Shunsai Sakaba Nasubi Bi. It is located just a short walk from Imazato Station on the subway. Upon entering the restaurant, we were seated at a table. First, we ordered some drinks. Here is the drink menu, which includes shochu, wine, and a variety of sake. We ordered draft beer and highball. I chose two types of appetizers to start with. From here, we ordered a few dishes. We started with a sashimi platter with five varieties. The sashimi included bluefin tuna, salmon, octopus, red snapper, and seared bonito. The bonito had a smoky flavor as if it were grilled over straw, which was delicious. Next, we had grilled squid omelette, beef harami teppanyaki, and crispy chicken cartilage. The crispy texture of the chicken cartilage was irresistible. Lastly, we ordered Imazato yakisoba, which was beef yakisoba. It was delicious without needing to add the sauce or mayonnaise provided. Overall, there were so many menu options that it was hard to decide what to order. I would like to come back to try the eel fried rice and other dishes.

Since moving to Osaka, I've been wanting to visit a tonkatsu restaurant that only opens at night, with walls covered in wooden panels that emit a nostalgic Showa-era scent. With only three days left until the end of the year, they will be closing for the year-end holidays. They switched from tonkatsu to ramen, so I decided to go and enjoy a bowl of noodles before they closed for the year. The restaurant was decorated for New Year's, and I ended up at Nasubi, a creative izakaya in the Imazato Shindo shopping street. The owner greeted me warmly and I enjoyed a couple of glasses of sake, some oden, and shochu. Nasubi is currently my favorite izakaya in this shopping street, with a relaxed atmosphere, a good selection of local sake, and an attractive all-you-can-drink option. I had a great time dining alone, but I would love to go back with a group next time. If anyone is interested, let's go together!

Visited the restaurant with my family of 5. We reserved a private room, but unfortunately it was located right next to the restroom which made me feel a bit uncomfortable. The food tasted okay, nothing special. However, I was a bit disappointed that the draft beer was served in the same glass as soft drinks. I was curious about the glass for small draft beer, but decided not to ask as I thought it was a waste of money. It was hard to tell what the main focus of the menu was, as there were various options like pasta. The spaghetti aglio e olio was too spicy. The staff seemed nice but the service was a bit hit or miss. Overall, it's worth a try if you're in the mood.

Izakaya Nasubi Beauty Facebook meetup. Despite being mainly acquaintances, there were a few people I was meeting for the first time, but it didn't feel awkward at all. It was a friendly atmosphere, and since it was all girls, we had a great time. Nasubi-san, it was my first time, but the location was close to the station and the atmosphere inside the restaurant was nice. The tatami room in the back had sunken kotatsu tables, and the staff would come over to ask if we needed anything, making it very comfortable. They were open until 2:00, and it seemed like some people were coming in even after midnight, adding to the lively atmosphere. The seven of us girls were having a blast, and it felt like we were adding to the liveliness. We ordered sashimi, edamame, and fried dishes, and everything was delicious. The drink menu was also quite extensive. They even graciously accommodated my friend who doesn't drink by making a tomato juice and orange juice mix. We stayed for quite a while, and the prices were very reasonable. I'll definitely come back here next time!
