I dropped in around 6:00 pm in the evening. There were no customers, but the service was good. I had one draft beer and about 10 pieces of sushi. It was a bit disappointing that some of the sushi I wanted was already sold out, but overall it was delicious. They also offered takeout, which was convenient for getting souvenirs.

I went to Kuromon Market after a long time❣️ There were some new shops added - I love the atmosphere❤️ But I noticed that there are more foreign visitors now, and some of the prices at the shops are quite high. I tried the delicious Osaka-style sushi at "Osaka Umaimon Sushi"❣️ The name is great and the place looks brand new, so I decided to give it a try❣️ I sat at the counter, but I think they also have a conveyor belt sushi section in the back. The eel and engawa sushi were so tasty - thank you for the meal❤️

I was happy to find gas shrimp at the Kuroemon Market in search of the taste of my hometown! The red clam had a nice color and the string was attached like a battleship. Recently, Maimon sushi seems to be aimed at high-end customers or inbound tourists due to its location, and the prices are quite high. It has become a place where common people rarely visit. The prices at other shops in the Kuroemon Market are completely different from a few years ago! It's like Dejima! But please continue to welcome foreign visitors with well-established store management, customer service, and attention to detail. Thank you for the meal.

Just hearing the name Kanazawa makes me think of fresh seafood and makes sushi taste three times better for me! This day, I visited a sushi restaurant in Kanazawa that opened in Kurumon. The Kurumon market at night is quiet and peaceful. Walking around Kurumon at night, you wouldn't think that the flashy exterior of the restaurant you're looking for is just around the corner. The interior is also colorful and lively, with a big space. We were seated at a table, and to order sushi, we used a pad on the table and the sushi was brought to us on a conveyor belt. First, we toasted with a draft beer (680 yen tax included). We ordered: grilled nodoguro (680 yen), grilled kamasu (570 yen), kanpachi (515 yen), shima aji (570 yen), live hirame (515 yen), shokatsuo (455 yen), seared toro salmon (455 yen), maguro assortment (1855 yen), assorted sashimi (2340 yen), seared scallop (455 yen), fresh squid (455 yen), crab miso gunkan, eel assortment, crab assortment (1030 yen), and fried white shrimp (790 yen). All the fish were fresh and the cuts were generous. It definitely lived up to being a Kanazawa specialty sushi restaurant. Personally, I really enjoyed the nodoguro, kamasu, and shima aji. It seems like they target more foreign tourists, so if they attract more international visitors, it could become even more popular. Thank you for the delicious meal!

It was a long time since we gathered as a group. I was invited and went to this place in Osaka that seems to be the equivalent of a famous restaurant in Kanazawa. I've never been to Kanazawa, so I was excited! Honestly, it was my first time at the Omicho Market. I think it's a market, right? Most of the shops were closed at night. When we arrived, this place was the only one brightly lit and stood out. The interior was quite spacious! There were also foreign customers, just as I expected. It's like a revolving sushi concept, where the dishes you order stop right next to your seat. This experience was also new to me! We tried various dishes, but the seared throat fish, seared tuna, and seared scallops were especially delicious! The fried white shrimp was also great! Unfortunately, someone else ate the white shrimp from the Kaga Hyakumangoku set, which was disappointing! I'll aim to get that next time. The first bonito I tried was also delicious. We had seared trout, striped jack, amberjack, flounder, tuna assortment, seared salmon, assorted sashimi, crab miso battleship, three types of eel, and a huge crab meat battle. The crab meat battle had two pieces of sushi rice under the crab. The toppings were large, so as someone who usually gets full quickly, I naturally got full right away. It's perfect for men and young people! Of course, you can adjust the amount you eat, and there are various options, so I think people of all ages and genders can enjoy it.

The Black Gate Market at night is quiet, but the lights are inviting you to come in. Today, I enjoyed my favorite sushi and drinks here♪♪ It's a franchise of the famous conveyor belt sushi restaurant "Kanazawa Maimon Sushi" in Kanazawa. The restaurant is spacious with a lot of seats. You order using a tablet, and when you place your order, a voice says "Got it!" which is fun. The sushi isn't constantly rotating, they bring your order to you on the belt conveyor system. This keeps the sushi fresh. I ordered the following items to share: - Seared nodoguro (blackthroat seaperch) - Seared kamasu (barracuda) - Kanpachi (amberjack) - Shima aji (striped jack) - Live hirame (flounder) - Hatsukatsuo (first bonito of the season) - Seared toro salmon - Maguro zukushi (assorted tuna) - Otsukuri gokan mori (assorted sashimi) - Seared hotate (scallop) - Aori ika (bigfin reef squid) - Kanimiso gunkan (crab miso battleship) - Eel 3-piece assortment - Kani ganko mori (assorted crab) - Fried white shrimp - Kaga Hyakumangoku nigiri The seafood from Hokuriku region is fresh and the pieces are thick, giving a satisfying bite. I recommend the seared kamasu and shima aji, as well as the nodoguro. The Kaga Hyakumangoku nigiri (crab, sweet shrimp, white shrimp, nodoguro, tsubugai) assortment is a great way to enjoy Kanazawa to the fullest, and it's delicious. They also have a variety of other dishes and desserts. The prices are a bit high, but the quality of the sushi makes it worth it.

Kanazawa's popular conveyor belt sushi restaurant, "Kanazawa Maimon Sushi," opened its 5th location in the Kansai area in December 2022 at Kuromon Market as "Osaka Maimon Sushi Kuromon Store." The store is operated as a franchise by the supermarket "Sennariya" at Kuromon Market, and they collaborate with nearby stores such as the meat shop "Manno Sohonten" for meat sushi and the fish store "Shin Uo Sakae" for eel sushi. The market has regained its liveliness with an increase in foreign tourists. While the market is bustling, the atmosphere inside the store is calm and quiet. Orders are placed using a touch panel, focusing on today's recommended fresh ingredients. A small draft beer is enjoyed to quench the thirst. The white surf clam has a good crunchy texture but is slightly fishy, possibly due to poor defrosting. The belly meat of yellowfin tuna is incredibly tender with excellent fattiness, melting sweetly in the mouth, providing a delightful taste. Highly recommended! The regular blackthroat seaperch nigiri is delicious, with various types of shellfish offering a sweet and crunchy texture that shellfish lovers will adore. The boiled firefly squid nigiri is average, disappointing for those who had high expectations due to their love for firefly squid. The gourd pickle nigiri from Iseya Honpo has a unique appearance, made from a specially bred gourd pickled in a style similar to pickled radish, offering a sour taste and a crunchy texture that becomes addictive. It serves as a refreshing end to the meal. Overall, compared to the excellent experience at the "Suita Green Place Store" visited in the past, this location was somewhat disappointing.

I used to go to Kanazawa Maimon Sushi often, so when I heard it opened in Osaka, I had to go. But when I arrived, it had become Osaka Maimon Sushi! A collaboration of Hokuriku and Osaka specialties? Without hesitation, I ordered white shrimp, gas shrimp, and nodoguro. I also tried the recommended tuna and kue. It was delicious. Thank you very much! Appreciate it! ✨

This is a franchise of the popular sushi restaurant "Kanazawa Maimon Sushi" in Kanazawa. Inside, you'll be surprised by the large-scale store, with the prominent use of "vermilion" as the CI color. On this day, three middle-aged men gathered to celebrate the arrival of spring, meeting after three months. The tablet ordering system is being increasingly adopted by restaurants, likely to reduce labor costs. The food comes on a conveyor belt, while drinks are brought by the staff. This system seems to have been designed to eliminate disruptive behaviors in the revolving sushi industry. After a toast, each person ordered their favorite items using the tablet. When the order is confirmed, the tablet responds with "Alright!" Quite amusing, isn't it? We enjoyed dishes such as a sashimi platter, Kaga Hyakumangoku sushi, live sea urchin, tuna assortment, grilled mackerel, and more. We started with beer, then had lemon sour, sake, sweet potato shochu, and finished with a highball. We indulged in eating and drinking, following our instincts. That's life. The three middle-aged men had a good time. We hope for the bustling days filled with inbound and Japanese customers to return soon, along with the revival of the Omicho Market. Cheers.

In Kanazawa's Kuromon Market, I heard that a famous sister restaurant of Maimon Sushi has opened, so three middle-aged men decided to check out this place. It was early March, starting to feel like spring, and we all met up promptly at 6:30 pm. I came from Sakai, changing trains and arriving at Nihonbashi. The station was just a short walk from the quiet Kuromon Market, which had a subdued atmosphere at night. This restaurant, which is gradually attracting more inbound customers, opened last year at the end of December after renovating a supermarket. I was looking forward to trying out the seafood from Hokuriku. Inside the restaurant, there were many table seats and counter seats. We were guided to a calm table seat. The system was similar to a conveyor belt sushi, where you order items through a touch panel and they are delivered to your table on one of the two lanes above and below. It's not a system where items constantly circulate around. We started with a toast with a glass of draft beer. We worked hard today too, so let's cheers for this one drink with gratitude. Now, let's order more using the touch panel. We ordered Hokuriku specialties like white shrimp and blackthroat seaperch which are not commonly available. The assorted sashimi platter included blackthroat seaperch, and the richness was exceptional. The Kaga Hyakumangoku nigiri sounded fancy. The Thunderbird to Kanazawa is quite expensive, isn't it? The white shrimp battleship sushi even had gold leaf on it! There's blackthroat seaperch here too. I'll have some sake too. My companion ordered a sake flight of three types. I chose Kikuhime, which I've known for a while. Its refreshing taste complements the seafood well. I'll have a highball with my tuna cutlet. Tuna feast, spear squid, tekka maki, sea urchin, seared scallop, and some dessert to finish. Even though there were three of us, there was one guy who ate two desserts (*'ω'*). It's a casual sushi place that is more expensive than conveyor belt sushi but cheaper than a high-end restaurant. It will likely become popular as it becomes more recognized. Thank you for the meal!

Today is a date ♡ Let's keep it a secret from everyone♪ Because... it's with three old guys (laughs) ^^ Hahaha
So, a mysterious new shop suddenly appeared at Kuromon Market! I thought I saw it somewhere before, and it seems to be a franchise of Maimon Sushi from Kanazawa. In Osaka, being able to eat the same things as the Kanazawa shop! Kuromon seems to have become more touristy, but I feel like there are more serious shops now.
Curious, so I went to check it out ^^ Started with a cheers with a draft beer♪ It's a touch panel ordering system, so everyone ordered what they liked. Kaga Hyakumangoku Nigiri for 1855 yen. A must-order if you come here! Crab meat, sweet shrimp, white shrimp, nodoguro (blackthroat seaperch), and tsubugai (whelk). This set is so good that you could just eat this and leave. Especially the white shrimp, not something you can easily find♪
Sashimi platter for 2340 yen. Sake goes well with Japanese sake, right? White shrimp tempura for 790 yen. Crispy texture♡ Another thing that you don't get to eat often, so it's happiness just to be able to eat it~
Tuna cutlet from the sushi restaurant for 680 yen. This was delicious! The chewy texture is addictive~
Tuna platter for 1855 yen. Everyone's favorite, right~ Even ordered dessert~ Oh, there are a lot of inbound customers during the day, but at night, it's a big space so it's a restaurant that can be used by families, large groups, dates, or just casual outings. A convenient restaurant for everyone. Oh, the atmosphere of Kuromon at night is different from during the day, and it felt refreshing. I want to eat white shrimp again♪ I hope that like this restaurant, if everyone works hard, Kuromon as a whole will evolve into a more enjoyable city~ Well, I was happy~ Thank you for the meal~

The ingredients were fresh and delicious. The sushi chef was friendly and the original buttered eel sushi was excellent! The restaurant was clean and the staff were very kind. It was great for groups as the sushi was served in boxes from the conveyor belt, so there was no need to worry about others touching your food. Everyone was happy and we have become regular customers. The chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) was also delicious. The quality is good but the prices are affordable. Located on the main street of Kuromon Market, it is easy to find. The eel-topped rolled omelet is popular among young people and can be eaten outside the store. I would love to visit again.

A new restaurant has opened in the shopping street of Kuromon Market. Kuromon Market seems to be making a comeback. I heard that a Kuromon Market will be opening on the first floor of the Mitsui Outlet Park in Kadoma. The restaurant looks more like a food court than a market. The interior has a rotating sushi lane in the back, but on this day, we were seated at the counter near the entrance and received our plates by hand. The color scheme is flashy red, clearly targeting inbound tourists. It seems to have a concept similar to a sushi restaurant in Ishikawa. They have sets like the Kaga Hyakuman-goku Set. There is an order system using a touch panel. We ordered the Tuna Trio for 1452 yen, Kaga Hyakuman-goku Nigiri for 1855 yen, and also a miso soup with seaweed. The quality of the ingredients varies, with some good ones and some that resemble conveyor belt sushi. The rice is decent, similar to what you would find at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. The outdoor sales area seemed to be more crowded than the indoor seating. Bon appétit.

Enjoyed the bustling atmosphere of Osaka by staying at a hotel near Kuromon Market, having a light breakfast, and checking out. I was curious about a shop I had noticed the day before, which seemed to be related to Kanazawa's Maimon Sushi. I planned to indulge in some luxurious sushi here before moving on to the next destination. I intended to just have the Toyama Shiraebi Sushi (Gunkan) and Nodoguro, but ended up eating quite a bit. It's always the same pattern. The staff and the sushi chef were kind and friendly. The ingredients were fresh. The interior of the restaurant was new and clean. It seems you can also enjoy a light meal outside the restaurant. Despite intending to eat lightly, I ended up eating this much. I want to come back with a friend next time! Thank you for the meal.

The polite customer service made the atmosphere very comfortable, and the interior of the restaurant was very clean and pleasant. The sushi was delicious and satisfying. They also had shochu and nodoguro soup that paired well with the sushi, making the meal even more enjoyable. It's recommended to arrive early as popular items tend to sell out. Orders can be placed using a touch panel and are delivered to each table on a conveyor belt, ensuring hygiene. This is a highly recommended restaurant that I would like to visit again.

This is not a conveyor belt sushi restaurant! I took my children there and they had kids' sets available. The staff were friendly and the plates were cute. My kids were thrilled! Personally, I really liked the clean restroom. I want to go back to this restaurant again!

Osaka Maimon Sushi, Kuromon Market, Namba, Chuo-ku, Osaka
I went on a date in Namba with my companion after a long time. We ended up at Kuromon Market after wandering around Namba! I had a feeling we would come across something delicious. We found Osaka Maimon Sushi, which had just opened. They had a good selection of fish, so we toasted with highballs and draft beer to start our lunch feast. The first round included chawanmushi, cod milt with ponzu sauce, kazunoko, and fried chicken. The dishes started to arrive at the table, creating a festive atmosphere. I tried the cod milt with ponzu sauce and it was disappointingly too cold and overcooked. For the second round, we ordered engawa, nodoguro, negitoro rolls, assorted pickles, tekka maki, and corn. We also added a local sake tasting, and ended up quite tipsy in the afternoon. The negitoro rolls needed more wasabi to make us tear up from the spiciness. The service was good, but the taste and cost performance were lacking.

It was delicious!!! After shopping at the Omicho Market for New Year's preparations, I decided to try out a new sushi restaurant that had opened. I usually trust that I can't go wrong with any restaurant inside the market. The staff greeted me energetically and recommended some dishes, so I ordered items like swordfish, blackthroat seaperch, glass shrimp, tuna, and yellowtail, all of which were incredibly fresh! The quality was so good that I couldn't believe it was a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. The tartar sauce with pickled ginger and the large fried horse mackerel were also delicious! I was impressed by the sushi with pickled vegetables that I had as a finale. The size of the sushi toppings and the presentation felt a bit lacking, but you could choose the amount of rice, which I thought was perfect for women who want to try a variety of dishes. Ordering through a touch panel reminded me of a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, but the prices were not cheap compared to typical conveyor belt sushi places. However, I felt it was quite reasonable for sushi of this quality. Lastly, I was surprised by the dessert, which was a serious contender! Although I initially thought it would be too heavy, I couldn't help but laugh when I tasted the Basque cheesecake recommended by my father. The manager proudly mentioned that it was sourced from an Italian restaurant supervised by Chef Masaru Ochiai, exceeding the expectations of a typical restaurant dessert. The attention to detail was evident, and when I suggested smaller portions and a dessert plate style, they graciously accepted the feedback, showing their humility as a newly opened establishment. The restaurant's design and atmosphere reminded me of Kanazawa, and there were many foreign customers as well. I want to go back before it gets crowded with inbound tourists. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

This is a new sushi restaurant that opened in Kuromon Market. While many surrounding restaurants are expensive and low quality, this place offers authentic ingredients such as dojuro from Hokuriku and gas shrimp not commonly found in Kansai. It's nice that you can choose the size of the rice ball as well.

I went to a dinner time. The most impressive thing I ate was the shrimp. I've never had such a thick shrimp even at a high-class sushi restaurant. That is highly recommended. The plates and interior were luxurious and extravagant, and my family, including my children and wife, were very pleased.
