Visit time: 13:50 on Sunday
Wait time: None
Menu: Various takoyaki, yakisoba - 2,000 yen
Impressions: It was near my house, but for some reason I found it hard to enter and it was my first visit. Once inside, the staff were very kind and I regretted not visiting sooner. I had takoyaki and yakisoba for dine-in. I tried three types of sauce, from normal sauce mayo to mentaiko cheese, and mentaiko sauce goes well with anything. Personally, I thought the mentaiko cheese was the best. I now have one more restaurant that I want to visit regularly. Thank you for the meal.

I visited "Fuusenmaru" in Hirano-ku, Osaka City. This shop has been selected as a "Human National Treasure Next Door" on a Kansai local TV show. In addition to takoyaki, they offer a wide variety of okonomiyaki and yakisoba. While you can dine in the shop, today I got takoyaki for takeout. Takoyaki prices are as follows: 6 pieces for 200 yen, 9 pieces for 300 yen, 12 pieces for 400 yen, and 36 pieces for 1200 yen. The takoyaki has a simple but delicious taste, with a chewy texture and a fluffy finish, thanks to the rich broth. I tried the classic sauce and mayonnaise topping, and it was delicious. They also have unique menu items like pizza-style okonomiyaki and mentaiko salt yakisoba. If this shop was near my home, I would definitely use it as an izakaya. Checking their website, I found out they have a product called "Takoyaki Bomber," which is soft-serve ice cream in a cone with takoyaki on top, developed for elementary school students. This takoyaki shop is full of customer-oriented ideas. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal~! I would like to visit again.
