I was torn between the limited-time autumn special set meal and the regular set meal, but I decided to order the chicken tempura. In addition to the tempura, it came with sweet potatoes (not thinly sliced, but moist and soft) and small fish. The tempura was crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside. The tempura dipping sauce went well with the rice, which was also free for refills. The salted fish roe on the table was delicious too, making me want to eat more rice.

My spouse and I were seated at the counter seats. We ordered a seafood set meal with zaru soba instead of rice. The zaru soba was served first and was deliciously fresh. The lightly battered tempura was also tasty. The aroma of the maitake mushrooms was fantastic! It reminded me of the first time I had maitake tempura soba in Niigata. The background music in the restaurant was '90s J-POP played on the koto. It was a nostalgic selection of songs. This restaurant really makes you appreciate Japanese cuisine.

It's a repeat visit♡ I always feel like eating it regularly. It's just before 2 pm on a weekday, but there were a few people lined up. I ordered the recommended seasonal "thin bamboo shoot ten" and the refreshing summer taste "one piece of horse mackerel" as a tempura set with an egg tempura on the side ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). The horse mackerel was very tender and delicious♡ I also enjoyed the squid salted in soy sauce and yuzu daikon radish on the table. Of course, I was full x2. Tempura is definitely the most delicious when it's freshly fried.

I went to Maki no, located on the 4th floor of AEON Mall Osaka Dome City, and had the Ebi-Ten Teishoku (shrimp tempura set meal) with Tamago-Ten (egg tempura). I waited in line with about 6 people and after about 5 minutes, I was seated at the counter. I ordered the Ebi-Ten Teishoku with Tamago-Ten for 1199 yen. The set meal included unlimited servings of ika no shiokara (salted squid) and daikon pickles, along with rice, miso soup, and tempura dipping sauce. The tempura, especially the shrimp and onion, was crispy. I also enjoyed the creamy texture of the kabocha (pumpkin) and satsuma-imo (sweet potato) tempura. Overall, the tempura seemed a bit overcooked, but the pumpkin was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

I had work in Minato Ward in the afternoon, so I came to "Aeon Mall Osaka Dome City" for lunch, where I could park my car and choose from a variety of restaurants. There is a food court and restaurants on the same floor on the 4th floor, making it easy and convenient to find a place to eat. After checking out all the options, I decided to go to a place where I could get freshly fried tempura. It was still early after they opened, so I was able to sit at the counter without waiting. I ordered their recommended dish, the "Tempura Set Meal" for 1199 yen, which comes with 6 pieces of tempura, miso soup with seaweed, and rice that you can refill. I ordered the small size since I had eaten a lot in the morning. Many people also seemed to order the additional "Egg Tempura" for an extra 110 yen. The tempura set meal came with mushrooms, shrimp, and squid tempura to start. I enjoyed them with tempura dipping sauce and salt provided on the table. Eating freshly fried tempura always makes me feel a little luxurious and I can see why it's popular. The tempura can vary between different restaurants, depending on the oil temperature and frying time. Next, I tried their specialty, aged "Chicken Tempura," along with "Whiting" and pumpkin tempura. The chicken seemed to be breast meat, not the chicken tenderloin I was expecting. It was marinated and aged, but I didn't really feel any special flavor. I recently had tempura in Kanagawa, and I could feel the difference in the tempura here. I'm now interested in trying more freshly fried tempura, especially since there are a couple of places nearby where I live.

This is a popular shop where there is always a line. However, you can wait comfortably as there are seats available while waiting. First, you write your name on the waiting board. This allows you to quickly go shopping while waiting for your turn. I ordered the tempura set meal with mackerel. They fry it after you order, and serve it little by little. I am happy that there is unlimited squid salted guts to eat.

I wanted to eat tempura, so I entered this popular restaurant where there is always a waiting line. I waited outside for a bit, but soon I was seated. Shortly after ordering, the piping hot tempura was brought to me. Freshly fried tempura is always delicious! Even though it always seems busy here, thank you for the quick service. The taste is also great, especially the chicken tempura has a strong flavor and is worth the price. Thank you for the meal again this time.

I entered the restaurant at 10:30 AM on a regular day. At 10:50 AM, when 5 people left, I ordered the Makino set meal (shrimp, squid, sillago, pumpkin, shiitake, and chicken) with a change to soba for an additional 1199 yen + 132 yen. It was delicious, as expected of Tridore quality. While rice would have been more cost-effective, I was happy with the soba change. I look forward to enjoying another meal here in the future. In front of the Dome, Chiyozaki ◇ Tempura ◇ [Chiyozaki 3-chome, Nishi-ku] Located on the 4th floor of the Aeon Mall adjacent to the Kyocera Dome is Makino, a tempura restaurant that opened 9 years ago. The shops on this floor have changed quite a bit, with half of them being replaced since opening. This restaurant is a chain store that opened three years ago. On a rainy weekday around 3:00 pm, with no events at the Dome, there were only 2 groups of 4 customers. It was a bit early for dinner. An order from an older gentleman for the "Early Summer Feast Tempura Set Meal" (1639 yen) was placed. The tempura was freshly fried, but unfortunately, the soba noodles were not to the liking of the gentleman. The tempura included Awaji Island spring onions, cutlassfish, shrimp, and eggplant tempura, followed by zaru soba. The remaining tempura included Kinu saury with myoga and grated daikon, cherry shrimp and edamame kakiage, and sand borer with fried new spring onions. The soba noodles were too hard. Perhaps udon from the same group as Marugame Seimen and Toridoll would have been more suitable for summer. "Thank you for the meal."

I visited during lunchtime and there were about 10 groups waiting, but I was able to get in after about a 40-minute wait. There were chairs to sit on while waiting, which was helpful. I was seated at the counter, which had a nice atmosphere. I ordered the "Early Spring Set Meal," which included seasonal dishes, salted squid, and free rice refills. It was a satisfying lunch with a generous portion.

On Saturday or Sunday around 7:00 PM, I lined up at a shop located on the 4th floor food court of the Aeon mall in front of Dome-mae Chiyozaki Station. The shop was of a normal size but felt a bit cramped due to narrow tables and limited space between seats. Their main dish was tempura set meals priced around 1000 yen each. This time, I ordered individual tempura items and rice only - lotus root, eggplant, mushrooms, shrimp, and rice, totaling around 700 yen. They served freshly fried tempura which was crispy and delicious, with a light oil and batter. The portion size was satisfying. I would like to visit this shop again if I have the chance. I had lunch at "Tempura Makino," operated by Toridoll Holdings, such as "Marugame Seimen" and "Zundo-ya". I planned to have a quick lunch at the food court after shopping at "AEON Mall Osaka Dome City", but I was immediately drawn in by the lunch menu displayed at the storefront. I was thinking of getting the "Makino set meal" with the restaurant's name on it. However, when I was seated at the table and looked at the menu again, I changed my mind. An angel whispered in my heart, "It's better to eat in moderation to avoid indigestion." There were "squid salted guts" and "black condiments" placed on the table. It's nice to have flavor-changing condiments! When I placed my order, the set was quickly prepared. As always, the efficiency was impressive. Tempura set meal 869 yen Egg tempura 110 yen Two items of shrimp, squid, chicken, and vegetables (total of 5 items) Free rice refill I asked for less rice as usual. First, the squid, shrimp, and onion tempura arrived. I started by savoring the onion tempura with tempura dipping sauce. The crispy texture followed by the juicy sweetness overflowing was delicious! It was a promising start. The squid tempura was skillfully prepared, so tender that you didn't need teeth to enjoy it. Delicious! The shrimp tempura had a crispy coating and a plump shrimp texture, enjoyable with the slightly sweet tempura dipping sauce. The squid salted guts were sticky and crunchy, bursting with umami and richness. I haven't had it in a while, but it was so delicious that I ended up eating a lot of rice! It was truly a rice thief! It would be even better with lemon juice! The egg tempura was placed on top of rice and cracked open, with the half-cooked egg yolk melting out. I sprinkled soy sauce and black condiments on top to adjust the flavor. The combination of the egg yolk's umami and richness, the sweetness of the coating, and the crispy texture made it incredibly delicious! It was so delicious that I wanted more rice, the ultimate egg over rice! Refreshing with miso soup. Refreshing the mouth with miso soup while accumulating umami, I started the second round. Chicken tempura and eggplant were both freshly fried and hot! I enjoyed the chicken tempura with salt. It was hot when I bit into it, but it was delicious! The salt did a great job! Lastly, I had the eggplant tempura, which I love. The crispy coating texture combined with the juicy eggplant juice was delicious! It was hot but tasty! This is a revisit. The next time you come to the dome, I decided to stop by this shop. Crispy freshly fried tempura is brought to you one after another. Rice is all-you-can-eat, and you can also enjoy salted fish roe and pickles. It's delicious and has the best cost performance, it's my favorite shop.

The structure... was lined up. Tempura rolls! Although there were plenty of empty seats inside the restaurant, the service was a bit slow. Is there a need for improvement in operations??? Anyway, the tempura is delicious as it is freshly fried! The daikon pickles on the table had cloudy liquid. There was hardly any squid salted guts. The servers seem to be having a tough time...

The frequency of visiting the Ion next to Kyocera Dome is still high. It gets crowded in the supermarket area when there is a Hanshin game, even though the number of visitors is low. I decided to try the restaurant next to the food court this time, and ended up choosing Maki-no for their tempura. I ordered the Maki-no set meal, which includes shrimp, squid, 3 types of vegetables, and 2 types of fish. I also added a half-cooked egg. However, I underestimated the portion size. The tempura was not just your average deep-fried food - the chef skillfully prepared it with a light and crispy coating. The price wasn't too high, but the quality of the food was excellent. I stopped by before watching a baseball game at Kyocera Dome. It was still early for dinner, so I easily got a table. I ordered the Maki set meal and the Ebi-Ten (shrimp tempura) set meal. The tempura tray with no toppings arrived first, followed by a plate with rice and miso soup. Soon after, freshly fried tempura arrived one after another. The Maki set meal included shrimp, squid, two types of fish, and three kinds of vegetables for ¥990. The Ebi-Ten set meal came with three shrimp, three kinds of vegetables for ¥890. The tempura was crispy and delicious! Salted squid and yuzu pickled radish were available for unlimited refills. Free extra rice was also offered, making it a great value for money. I will definitely visit this restaurant again.

Good evening, this is pta1001. I'm in front of the dome on my day off. I finished my errands and had tempura for lunch. I had the tempura set meal with maki. I also had hotaruika (firefly squid) tempura with it. Here, you can eat as much squid shio (salted squid) as you want. I feel like drinking from lunchtime, but I'll refrain.

The set meal included shrimp, squid, two types of fish, and three types of vegetables for 990 yen, with an additional 100 yen for the Tamago-ten. I sat at the counter that day. The staff served freshly fried tempura right in front of me. As expected, freshly fried tempura is delicious. I enjoyed the Tamago-ten by putting it on rice and adding the special sauce and black condiment recommended by the restaurant. With so many branches of this restaurant, it's easy to understand why. Thank you for the delicious meal.
