I went to "Ramen Niwa Tori," which opened near Nishinakajima-Minamigata Station on June 8th. It is a new store run by the chicken yakitori restaurant Niwa Tori in Nishinakajima.
- Arrival time: 11:25 AM
- Crowd level: 1st person
- Wait time: 5 minutes outside
I ordered chicken bone ramen, 2 pieces of fried chicken, and rice. It took 5 minutes for the food to arrive. For the first 3 days since opening, they are offering free extra noodles or rice (ending today, sorry). The richly simmered water-based soup is further boiled down to create a rich broth with a round and thick soy sauce base. The soup is so rich in fat and collagen that your lips will stick together. It's more of an old-school chicken broth, but it's not as greasy as typical old-school broths. The noodles may not be the best, as they don't seem to soak up the soup well, giving a slightly bland impression. The two pieces of chicken leg are more like salt-grilled than chashu. It's perfect for those who love white rice! The fried chicken is 100 yen each and tastes pretty average. I ordered 2 pieces, and it seemed like many other customers did the same. There was also a "mild" option on the menu, and from a quick glance at a neighboring customer, it seemed like they were serving a foamy white broth. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

The ramen was delicious, although the cost performance wasn't great. The chicken chashu could have been more tender. However, there was an issue with the staff - they asked us to sit next to people even though there were empty seats available. It made us consider leaving, but we decided to stay and eat. It would be appreciated if the staff were more considerate in such situations. If this continues, I may not revisit the restaurant in the future. It's a shame.

"Ramen ni wa Tori" in Yodogawa-ku, Osaka City, near Nishinakajima Station. No parking available. Payment after meal, PayPay accepted. "Tori-gara Ramen" for 900 yen.
【Soup】Rich in collagen, sticky foam, creamy chicken white broth with a slight thickness, first contact with a hint of ginger flavor.
【Noodles】Firm texture, nice chewy medium-thin wavy noodles.
【Toppings】3 pieces of chicken thigh chashu, plenty of white and green onions.
Located a little south from the main road, with an exterior resembling a traditional Japanese restaurant. The inside has a calm atmosphere with wood carvings. Despite the misleading name, the ramen is actually a creamy chicken white broth with a good ginger flavor. The chicken thigh chashu may lack impact, but overall the restaurant is well-received in terms of service. It would be even better if they offered a clear broth option. Thank you for the meal.

I visited this restaurant in June right after it opened. The interior has only a counter, but there is a TV broadcasting, creating a relaxing atmosphere. For my first visit, I ordered the chicken broth ramen, juicy minced cutlet, and rice. The ramen was delicious, not as heavy as chicken white broth, and enjoyable until the last bite. The chashu was also chicken-based and tasty. The minced cutlet was indeed juicy and delicious. Although the portions seemed a bit small for one rice bowl, all the dishes were tasty, so I left satisfied.

A new ramen shop in Nishi-Nakajima that focuses on chicken. Their lunch menu includes basic chicken ramen, as well as mild, curry, and other varieties. They also offer set menus. I ordered the basic chicken ramen for 900 yen. It arrived in 6-7 minutes. It was a chicken broth-based ramen, and although it was rich, it had an elegant taste and wasn't overwhelming. The chashu was made from chicken. The thin straight noodles paired well with the soup, and it was delicious. The price of 900 yen may be a bit high, considering the current circumstances, but it's understandable. This area is one of the most competitive ramen districts in Osaka, so I hope they continue to do their best.

I was walking around and stumbled upon a new ramen shop that specializes in chicken broth. I tried their ramen and it was delicious, but the cost performance ratio was not the best. The chef mentioned to adjust the flavor with soy sauce if it's too light, which made me feel like they don't have much attention to detail. However, considering the prices are on the higher side in this area, I could tell they put a lot of effort into their preparation. If they are so focused on the soup, I personally think they shouldn't have said that.

Yesterday (6/27), after having a drink at a shop near the east exit of Hankyu Kobe Line Juso Station, I moved to the next station, Minami Koshien, and walked a few minutes to visit this shop for a second meal. Around 11:40, I entered a restaurant with a traditional exterior and found no other customers inside. I was instructed to sit at the counter seat at the back, where I looked at the menu and ordered the "Chicken Ramen (900 yen)" without a ticket machine. After a while, a bowl was served with thin noodles in yellow soup, topped with a small chicken thigh chashu, green onions, and sesame seeds sprinkled on top. When I took a sip of the soup, I could taste the rich chicken broth, which was different from chicken white broth but quite delicious. The noodles had a nice chewy texture, and the chicken chashu was tasty, although the portion was a bit small for the price of 900 yen. Despite my internal complaints about the price, it was a delicious meal that I finished completely.

Located a few minutes' walk from Nishinakajima Minamikata Station and Minamikata Station. Today, I had lunch here. The interior of the restaurant consists of counter seats and table seats, and the main menu offers three types of chicken broth ramen. I ordered the standard chicken broth ramen. Let's dig in! The ramen has a simple appearance with grilled chicken on top. The soup is thick and you can taste the flavor of the chicken, but it also has a slightly unpleasant smell, so this may be a matter of personal preference. The price of the ramen, starting at 900 yen, felt a bit on the higher side. Anyway, thank you for the meal! It's not related to the taste, but there were no ashtrays provided, yet some regular customers were smoking, so it seems smoking is allowed. It's quite rare for a relatively newly opened restaurant to allow smoking.

Chicken bone ramen (Chicken bone + soy sauce 900 yen) ★★★☆
The soup is a soy sauce flavor based on chicken bones. The noodles are slightly wavy medium-thin straight noodles. The toppings include chicken thigh chashu, green onions, and white leeks. This is a new concept shop of "Jitadori Yaki Niwatori" in Nishinakajima, which opened on June 8th about 150 meters north. The soup, made from chicken bones with a moderate amount of oil, has a rounded flavor with a mild taste of soy sauce. The noodles are from Endo Cons in Takino, Hyogo Prefecture, with a firm texture and a smooth throat feel. The small chashu comes with two slices, tender and well-seasoned, making it delicious. You can enjoy different flavors with the provided black pepper, yuzu pepper, ramen sauce, and pickled ginger. For the first 3 days of opening, there is a free service for extra noodles or rice. 2023.06.08 Ramen Niwatori [Main Menu] Chicken bone ramen: 900 yen Chicken bone ramen mild: 900 yen Chicken bone curry ramen: 950 yen Extra noodles: +200 yen.

"I visited the newly opened restaurant "Ramen Niwa Tori" on June 8th. This restaurant is operated by the chicken cuisine restaurant "Jidori Yaki Niwa Tori" located in Nishinakajima, with the nearest station being Osaka Metro Nishinakajima Minamigata Station. The menu includes Chicken Bone Ramen for 900 yen, Mild Chicken Bone Ramen for 900 yen, Chicken Bone Curry Ramen for 950 yen, and extra noodles for +200 yen. The chicken bone broth used in the ramen has a slightly thick texture with a round soy sauce base that is not too sharp, offering a mild and smooth taste with a good balance of chicken broth umami and sweetness. The noodles are a wavy, medium-thin type from "Menkobo Endo Konsu" in Hyogo Prefecture, providing a good texture and moderate firmness. The chicken thigh chashu topping is tender and well-seasoned. You can also adjust the flavor using the black pepper, yuzu pepper, and pickled ginger on the table. From the opening day until three days later, extra noodles and rice are offered as a free service."

Chicken bone ramen made with Jidori chicken. On the table, there are ramen sauce, coarse ground pepper, yuzu pepper, and pickled ginger. It's easier to understand the deliciousness when you add them in.
