I was taken here by an acquaintance in Fukuoka. It was a Sunday, so my acquaintance found this place on Tabelog. It's a yakitori restaurant, but they also have other delicious dishes! It's a sister store to Yakitori 634 on the first floor! (526 is on the second floor) The young waitresses in kimono were charming and cute, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was stylish with dark lighting. It seems like a great place for a date! (No private rooms, only counter and booth seating)

"Yakitori 526" I was wandering around looking for delicious yakitori in Tenjin and ended up here. There are many good-looking restaurants in the area. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is lively and very nice. The wallpaper in the restroom is super cute! The dishes are all delicious without any misses! Each skewer is slightly larger, so women or light eaters might get full quickly. After the meal, you will be served a complimentary dessert of pineapple. The best part is the staff's exceptional hospitality, making the meal even more enjoyable.

I visited this restaurant looking for yakitori, even if I could enter alone. I came to Fukuoka for a live concert and some sightseeing, but I can't leave without having a drink! I went for a drink in the Tenjin area near my hotel (*`・ω・´). I called Rokusanoshi, which I had saved beforehand, and they were fully booked. They recommended their affiliated second-floor store, which had availability. The restaurant has a counter with about 8-10 seats in an L-shape, and three tables. The beer is Asahi and it's deliciously cold! I usually drink Sapporo Classic, so it felt like a change to have Asahi (laughs). - Goma Kanpachi: I had Goma Saba the day before, so this time I tried Kanpachi. The combination of sesame and fish was impressive! The fish was fresh, and when mixed with wasabi, it had a spicy kick that made the alcohol go down smoothly. - Skewers: I wanted to try chicken liver, but they were sold out! Instead, they recommended shrimp rolls, chicken skin, and chicken thigh. The shrimp rolls were very plump and delicious! It's great to see them grilling the skewers right in front of you, even though the smoke looks intense (laughs). - Ikura with grated daikon: They served this as a recommendation, and even though it can't beat Hokkaido's, it was delicious! The refreshing taste made it easy to eat even when full. The seasoning of the salmon roe was just right, and it paired perfectly with grated daikon. - Goma Pudding: I was truly impressed by this dish! They insisted that it was delicious, so it was also served as a complimentary dish. They said it was homemade, and it was truly delicious. It was jelly-like and creamy! It had black honey drizzled on top with a sprinkle of soybean flour. I would come here just for this (laughs). I was wearing my live concert merchandise when I visited, so we had a conversation about coming from Hokkaido. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, making me feel comfortable even though I was alone. I didn't feel lonely at all and had a great time thanks to their friendliness. It was a great impression of Fukuoka, where people are so kind to tourists. I am grateful for the excellent service I received. I would definitely want to visit this restaurant again when I come back to Fukuoka! Thank you for the meal (m(_ _)m).

First time at this restaurant. For the last dinner of the end of Golden Week tomorrow, I decided to try this place that I've been curious about for a while. The interior of the restaurant is small. I sat at the counter. I ordered the recommended shrimp roll, potato salad, and stir-fried pork cartilage. The potato salad had a half-cooked egg on top. It was slightly sweet, maybe. The stir-fried pork cartilage was delicious and went well with beer! The shrimp roll, being a recommended dish, was indeed delicious with juicy shrimp! Personally, I also enjoyed the camembert cheese. It was a good dinner experience.

I visited this restaurant in Fukuoka on a private holiday. It is the sister store of the popular restaurant Rokusan, and even though I arrived at 6:00 pm on a holiday, it was fully booked. I had made a reservation in advance and was able to sit at the counter. The creative grilled skewers were a bit on the expensive side, but the taste and quality of the meat were quite good. They were all tender and delicious. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was calm, with slightly dimmed lighting. The staff were all attentive, and I had a comfortable time for about two hours. They also had some high-quality shochu available at a very reasonable price. I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

The food from appetizers to yakitori was delicious. I especially liked the tsukune, heart, and thigh meat and would love to try them again next time. It was a shame that they were sold out of seseri, but I would definitely come back for more.

When I said I wanted to eat yakitori, I was taken to this shop, which is a branch of the main store. It was a weekday, but the place was quite crowded. The first floor seemed lively, and the staff recommended, "If you want to relax, this area is also recommended." They had bright smiles. We started with sesame mackerel and skewers. We tried a few skewers, and all of them were delicious. The specialty, shrimp roll, had a strong impact. The slightly rare liver was excellent. I thought about pairing it with wine, but the wine I ordered might not have been the best choice. So, I switched to sake. As I was drinking sake, they even gave me plum wine as a service, encouraging me to drink more. There were also solo female customers at the counter, and the staff were attentive. I thought, "This is a great place." Even with all the food and drinks, the price was fantastic. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

On the second floor above 634 is 526. It took me three tries before I could finally visit this shop. It's almost been a year since the shop opened, so I might have been a bit late in coming. The shop has a cozy atmosphere and is quite small. There were many familiar faces from 634 inside. The recommended dishes here are shrimp rolls, liver, and potato salad, which seem to be the top three specialties. We indulged in dishes like sesame amberjack, potato salad, shrimp rolls, shiitake mushrooms, beef skewers, sand liver, liver, and even dessert. We ate quite a lot and were full, but the service was great. The complimentary ham, cream cheese, and pickles were delicious, and I even jokingly requested them to be added to the menu. They were perfect with alcohol. Since the seating is limited, it's best to make a reservation for weekends.

Visited a dinner with 6 colleagues. It's great that it's close to Tenjin Station, but it might be a bit difficult to find the restaurant. We ordered a variety of dishes and everything was delicious, but the shrimp roll was exceptional. I would definitely want to come back to try the shrimp roll if I visit Hakata again. If you come here, be sure to try it out.

Tenjin's yakitori restaurant, "526". A popular yakitori restaurant, "634", has a sister store located directly above it (2F). Visited with 4 colleagues. The interior has a counter and 4 table seats. It's a small space. Since it opened in July last year, it's very clean. We ordered: Potato salad, Celery pickles, Cheese tofu, Tuna sashimi, Yakitori (chicken skin, gizzard, shrimp roll, coriander, pork belly, wagyu beef ribs skewers). If you've been to 634, you'll know that all the yakitori here is delicious. Especially the fresh "gizzard" and substantial "wagyu beef ribs skewers" are great. However, the best recommendation at this restaurant is the "tuna sashimi". On a plate, there are 2 pieces each of lean, medium fatty, and fatty tuna, topped with sea urchin and salmon roe. This is a single serving. And the price is only 980 yen, which is amazing cost performance. When you eat it, it's fresh and delicious. The manager said, "To be honest, we're in the red," and I can understand why. It was full on this Friday, but according to the manager, it's often less crowded on other days compared to 634. Delicious yakitori and tuna sashimi, good service, and great cost performance. We'll visit "526" again. P.S. Like "634", this place also felt a bit cramped in terms of seating.

It seems that it will open on July 6th. It's on the 2nd floor of Rokusanoya. When I tried to go to Rokusanoya, I was told that they were fully booked, but the staff suggested that I try Gorojiro above, which might have availability. They said it's a 50-minute challenge. Well, it's just dinner for one person, so if I don't drink enough, I can go to another place. I visited Gorojiro and sat at the counter next to two beautiful women. First, I ordered a draft beer. The first dish I ordered was chicken skin with ponzu sauce. It's a bit sweet but delicious. Next, I ordered skewers of Japanese beef kalbi, thigh, seseri, and bonjiri. I asked for all of them to be seasoned with salt, except for the kalbi which was with ponzu sauce. Each skewer uses good cuts of meat and tastes delicious. By this point, I had finished three draft beers. When I ordered a bottle of Dassai sake, I was served Hiyama wasabi and grated horseradish as a service. Around that time, the staff was serving frozen sake "Ginga Tetsudou" for the two beautiful women next to me, but as an old man, I also received a taste. It was sherbet-like, fruity, and delicious. I also ordered chicken skin and chicken liver with sauce. I added another bottle of Dassai. (All drinks are 500 yen each as part of the open service.) Finally, I had Tanaka Rokugo. The staff at this restaurant work happily. You can hear a lot of heartwarming Hakata dialect. It was a satisfying 50 minutes. Thank you for the meal.
