Raffa by Speranza (in front of Kansai Super Fukushima store, Fukushima-ku, Osaka) I had to go to Noda in the afternoon, so I decided to have lunch before that. I had been considering a few suitable restaurants for such days, and today I chose "Raffa by Speranza." As I approached the restaurant, I had a bad feeling. Could it be closed? However, when I pushed the door, it opened. Inside, there was probably an Italian owner and a couple of customers chatting happily. The interior was very small with only counter seats. I looked at the menu and decided to go for the most affordable option, the A course, which included today's salad and a choice of pasta or pizza for 1045 yen. I decided to go with the pizza. There was no verbal explanation of the daily pasta or pizza options, which was unusual in such situations. However, everyone seemed content, and things proceeded smoothly. After about 5 minutes, the salad was served, which consisted of lettuce and sweet tomatoes. After finishing the salad, the pizza arrived after about 18 minutes. Again, there was no detailed explanation, just a simple "Here is your pizza." It was a tuna, onion, and cheese pizza. The size was just right, and the dough was soft and fluffy, providing a satisfying eating experience. Eating freshly baked pizza is always the best. It was hot, with the cheese melting, making me sweat as I finished it. I realized I needed to hurry as it was almost 1 o'clock. I recommend going when you have some extra time. Raffa by Speranza, located across from Kansai Super in Sagisu, is a small restaurant with a counter seating for 10 people. Everything, from cheese to bacon, prosciutto, and terrine, is handmade by the big-bodied chef running the place by himself. I tried THE LUNCH C course for ¥1,550 (tax included), which includes 5 types of appetizers, today's soup, choice of pasta, pizza, or risotto, today's main dish, and today's dessert. I also enjoyed a white wine for ¥440 (tax included). The appetizer platter consisted of eggplant gratin, pork salad, cold pasta, baked mashed potatoes, and terrine with chicken, eggplant, and eggs. All dishes had a rich flavor without being overpowering, especially the terrine which was outstanding. The white wine paired perfectly with the meal. The pasta of the day was bacon, zucchini, and cherry tomato in butter sauce, cooked al dente and bursting with flavor from the homemade cheese. The main dish was Italian meatballs with a spicy kick and a hearty texture, complemented by the homemade cheese in the Italian sauce. The dessert was tiramisu, perfectly balancing sweetness and bitterness. Despite being full, I couldn't resist the delicious course meal. The chef, Raffa, from Naples, made the dining experience enjoyable with his lively conversations. I look forward to trying the carbonara made with egg yolks instead of cream next time. Thank you for the feast!

There is a small restaurant run by an Italian chef in front of Kansai Supermarket, a short walk from Noda Station. The seating is only at the counter, giving it a cozy atmosphere. The menu for today's pasta was a bit unclear, but it turned out to be a unique pasta with green peas and a strong buttery aroma.

The shop has changed, and I finally got to go, which I had been interested in for a while. The inside of the shop is small, but I didn't feel like it was my first time at all. The reason is that the Italian master, who is very cheerful and good at talking, is there. He is very good at Japanese. The food is delicious and cheap! The cost performance is quite good. I will visit again! Thank you for the meal!

Everything from the pizza to the dessert was homemade, and the squid ink pasta was especially delicious!

The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the chef is wonderful! He speaks Japanese fluently, so don't be afraid to come in even if you think you can't speak a foreign language. I only had lunch there alone once, but the chef greeted me when I passed by. He is a warm gentleman.
