クラ僧
This is in Muroran Chuocho. This is the last in the Muroran Yakitori series. The top spot on my list is Katsunaga-san! They have been in business for quite a long time, and moved to their current location a few years ago. Just a 2-minute walk from Muroran Station, next to OYO HOTEL. There are 7 counter seats, and I didn't peek into the private room at the back as there was a party going on, but there are several rooms. There were 26 reservations while I was drinking, so the capacity seems quite large. The beer at 500 yen is Sapporo Black Label. The first pour was a bit disappointing, but from the second pour onwards, it was perfect. The server's condition was also perfect. - Pork skewer @ 150 x2 additional 2 The sauce has a soy sauce aroma, with a hint of sweetness. It's not that the soy sauce flavor is strong, but the aroma is prominent. This is important. The slightly thick sauce clings perfectly to the meat. Normally, I would go for salt or order something else, but this pork skewer sauce is so excellent that I had to order more. - Guts @ 120 x2 Crunchy. Guts are unsatisfying without this level of texture. Just the right amount of salt. The sauce here also goes perfectly with it (^_^) - Tsukune 2 pieces @ 400 Plenty of minced chicken and chopped green onions, with a fluffy texture due to the generous binder. It has a hint of curry mixed in, giving it a different flavor from just the sauce. The yolk served on the side is also delicious, especially when mixed in. The homemade mashed potatoes served alongside are thick and creamy. They are so delicious that even though they are already creamy, mixing in the leftover yolk makes them even more delicious. - Squid nanban @ 450 Slowly soaked in soy sauce, then fried to a crisp. This is delicious. The squid is delicious. The frying is excellent. I think I gained about 0.1% of life by being able to drink beer with this. The mother is in charge of the yakitori, while the son is in charge of the cooking. The mother entertains even a single customer with her lively chatter. The son gives off a quiet chef vibe. I had plans to visit a few more places that day, so I couldn't eat much, but for a yakitori place, they have quite a variety of side dishes, and I want to try them all. If there is one weakness, it's that if they run out of ingredients or the customers leave, they will close regardless of the business hours. The other day, I passed by and thought of going to Katsunaga for my second stop, but they had already closed before 8 pm (^_^;) It's safer to call ahead before going. I go here from time to time! Thank you for the meal (・∀・)
