I thought it might be something unusual because it was called "Muroran Kushikatsu" in Higashi-Muroran, but just like Muroran Yakitori, you just dip it in mustard. The stuffed green pepper kushikatsu was delicious. I like the classic pickled ginger with kushikatsu. It was a night of Hoppy and kushikatsu.

I was wandering around looking for the next shop and came across a skewer restaurant. I love skewers so I decided to go in. My friend ordered the mashed potato salad again. They really love mashed potato salad. We were talking about how full we were and couldn't eat anymore, but my friend misunderstood and ordered the leftover tempura udon. It was so delicious that we ended up eating it all quickly. Tempura udon is not something you see often, so we were happy. The Muroran skewers were an interesting idea, turning Muroran yakitori into skewers. We had a little bit and then finished off with delicious tempura udon. Thank you for the meal!

Muroran has few restaurants other than yakitori and ton-yaki. I visited a place called "Kushiage Mekke!" feeling like I found something different. It was crowded with customers who were also tired of yakitori. It was a good decision to make a reservation before going. The restaurant is relatively new and has a low rating, but the food is really delicious! It's a great place for those staying multiple nights in Muroran. I visited around 19:30 with my friend, Agent Hirata. The restaurant had a bright atmosphere and was unexpectedly crowded with like-minded people. We ordered the all-you-can-eat kushiage and all-you-can-drink option. We ended up drinking too much while enjoying the affordable Hoppy and Kodama Bi-Sour from Tokyo. When it comes to kushikatsu, it's a symbol of Osaka's proud food culture. A classic accompaniment to beer that sauce lovers can't resist. So surprising to find kushikatsu in Muroran! I noticed there were a lot of kushikatsu restaurants in Sapporo when I visited there the other day. It seems that kushikatsu is popular in Hokkaido too. I'll just casually order some kushikatsu and enjoy it with beer. The breading is thin and just like the Osaka style. Even though it's in a different location, this is irresistible. I know the importance of having pickled ginger! It's not kushikatsu without it. They also have other classic items that you can enjoy. Thank you for the meal.

I visited a restaurant in Muroran for dinner while on a business trip. Muroran yakitori is famous, but this place specializes in Muroran kushiage, which is a bit unique. I ordered the kushiage set omakase, and tried a variety of classic kushiage items which were delicious. The side menu was also quite good, especially the burdock tempura - crispy outside and soft inside, it was really tasty.

Muroran, Nakajima-cho. Today's shop is Nakajima Ichichome Shoten. It's affectionately called "Nakaiichi" by the people of Muroran! I revisited quickly. At the end of November, I made a little mistake, so I don't want to spend much money until Christmas. But I can't leave my partner alone, so I came to a shop that offers all-you-can-drink at a cheap price and fills you up. Even if it's not a party, it's nice to have a single item all-you-can-drink here! The deep-fried skewers are also cheap at around 100 yen each, a friend of the common people. When I went after a long time, the menu had changed, and it seemed like there were more items other than skewers than before. The Muroran pork skewers and the daily yellowtail on this day were especially delicious! There is no other deep-fried skewer shop in Muroran except for this one (according to KuraZo's research), so it's always crowded! There were even families there, and on this day, there was a party of about 30 people from the technical college, so it's a shop loved by various people! The shop assistant, who is highly recommended by KuraZo, had short hair now! I'd like to see their face without a mask (^o^) Thank you for the meal!

A restaurant located in the Nakajima area of Muroran City, known for its drinking establishments. I visited with my colleagues for dinner. The interior has a retro Showa era atmosphere, with many young staff members creating a lively vibe. The menu mainly features Osaka-style dishes such as kushikatsu and katsu udon, with a reasonable overall price range. We opted for all-you-can-drink drinks and ordered dishes individually. We ordered a variety of dishes, including those shown in the photos, but the kushikatsu was the most delicious. We didn't take photos of everything we ate, but we were full and satisfied after eating and drinking, and it cost around 2,500 yen per person. I think it's a good choice for those who love kushikatsu or for group gatherings.

Muroran Nakajima-cho. Today's shop is Muroran Kushikatsu Nakajima 1-chome Shoten. Located across the street from the lantern street. This day was the second Saturday after the end of the state of emergency, last week it was sparsely populated but this week it was full of people. The third place we tried to enter, and luckily there were seats available at the counter. The interior of the shop is bright and the atmosphere is similar to a certain kushikatsu shop in Sapporo. When we sat down, we were happy to see the all-you-can-drink option. I asked if it was okay for just one person, and they said it was fine. Yay, it's been a while since I had a beer festival! The beer was Black Label, the server and freshness were good. The food menu was quite extensive, not just kushikatsu. They even had katsu udon! The shop had a nice atmosphere and was quite crowded, so the service was a bit slow. The first round of kushikatsu included items like boiled eggs, pork cutlet with green onion, squid, shrimp, chicken thigh, saury, onion, burdock, pickled ginger, cheese, etc. The second round included items like eggplant, ginkgo nuts, lotus root, asparagus, scallop, quail bacon, and more. We also ordered a side dish of mountain vegetable namul. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the overall experience was enjoyable. I will definitely revisit this place, especially because the leader-like staff member was very beautiful! My companion was a little jealous. I will be back for sure. Thank you for the meal.

There are various types of kushikatsu, all of which are delicious. The side menu also offers a variety of tasty options. There are many drink choices available, including all-you-can-drink plans which are great for those who enjoy drinking a lot. In the Nakajima area of Muroran City, there are only two kushikatsu restaurants that I know of, and both are delicious.

I went to this newly opened restaurant! It is located under Laforet, and the interior was very clean. I called the day before and was able to make a reservation. They mentioned on the phone that the food might take some time to be served, but we didn't have to wait long before we could start eating. The all-you-can-drink option had a limited selection of alcohol, but they had a good variety of highballs for 1480 yen for 2 hours. The skewers cost around 100-200 yen each. There were 7 of us, and the total bill was a little over 30,000 yen. We ended up eating too much.
