I came all the way to Myokenzan. I took the Nose Electric Railway, cable car, and lift, and then walked to the temple. It truly has a divine presence. There is a cafe restaurant within the temple grounds. It's in the temple building itself. You can enjoy a magnificent view from there. The view is amazing. They serve authentic Italian cuisine and you can also use the cafe. I had a cafe latte. Anything tastes delicious when you're enjoying this view. By the way, the three women next to me were each devouring a whole pizza. That's a hearty lunch.

I came to Mt. Myoken for a barbecue with nothing in hand. There is now a covered area, which is great for those of us worried about UV rays! The hydrangeas were a bit past their prime, but still very beautiful. I came here with a great deal on the Hankyu train, so after eating, I went up the mountain. I found a café with a lovely atmosphere and view! I had to go in. They seem to take their tea seriously, but I love lemonade. The lemonade came in a cute cup and was very refreshing and delicious! The air is clear, the view is beautiful, it's the best. Spring or fall might also be nice. I would love to come back for another barbecue.

It was a cafe with a good view, so I set it on my navigation and headed there. I had to drive up a steep mountain road and park at the Myokenzanjo parking lot. I passed through a torii gate, climbed stairs, passed by the "Seirei" hall and observatory, and then descended a bit to find the cafe within the shrine grounds. To be honest, it was unexpected. The entrance was narrow and the renovation seemed halfway done. But when I entered, it was really nice. There were tables and chairs on comfortable tatami mats, and the view from the window was breathtaking. The menu was limited and a bit pricey, but the coffee was delicious and the chiffon cake was simple and tasty. It was an unexpected journey, but walking along the approach, reaching the cafe, enjoying delicious coffee and cake, and the view from the mountain top was just wonderful.
