Today I had lunch at the popular restaurant Fukusei Hare, a branch of Fukusei in Sakai East. At Hare, on weekdays only, you can enjoy Western cuisine lunch prepared by Chef Tsuji, who used to work at Bistro Tsuji. The charm of this restaurant is that all seats are private rooms, so you can enjoy a leisurely lunch in a private space. It's a shame that it's only available on weekdays. The Western cuisine lunch menu includes omurice, hamburger, and a daily special. It comes with salad, soup, and a choice of rice or bread. A while ago, the hamburger was priced at ¥1,000, which was exciting, but unfortunately, it has increased to ¥1,200. However, even at ¥1,000, it seemed like a great deal, so I can't complain about the price increase. This time, I ordered the Chef's Special Omurice Lunch for ¥1,000 and added a homemade hamburger for ¥300. First, the soup arrived. It was a consommé soup with a hint of vegetable sweetness. It had a great depth of flavor. Then, the salad and mini hamburger arrived, followed by the appetizing-looking omurice. The homemade hamburger is about half the size of the hamburger on the lunch menu. I started with the omurice. The egg was visibly fluffy, with a nice balance of softness on the outside and firmness on the inside. It had a rich flavor! The butter rice was flavorful and paired perfectly with the demi-glace sauce. The mini hamburger on top was juicy and full of meaty goodness! It was satisfyingly meaty. When generously topped with the delicious demi-glace sauce on the plate, it was just perfect. Adding the homemade hamburger topping made me feel like I got a great deal. I highly recommend it! Next time, I want to savor the hamburger slowly, so I might try the hamburger lunch. Thank you for the meal!

The other day's lunch ^o^ I heard that there is a lunch service at the annex of Fugu Kiyoshi, so I came over. I heard that there is a Western menu available only for lunch at such a Japanese restaurant, and it turns out that it was the "Bistrotsuji" located on the nearby Goryo Street. Chef Tsuji, who used to work there, creates authentic Western dishes☆ The restaurant changed its concept before I could visit, and now it has become a combination of Chef Tsuji's wife's warabi mochi shop and an eel restaurant. I had always wanted to try their dishes, and I found out that the menu has been recreated here♪ It was a collaboration between Fugu Kiyomasa and Chef Tsuji! So, I tried the popular hamburger lunch. Visit on January 20th: Actually, I visited at the end of last year, but at that time, the 2022 Western lunch was already over (sweat). After the New Year, I confirmed that there was a Western lunch at "Fugu Kiyomasa Hanare". I entered the restaurant alone and was seated in a splendid private room☆ Details of the lunch menu: The hamburger uses Australian "Sukoyaka Daichi beef". Here, I ordered the hamburger lunch for 1,200 yen. First, I had consomme soup, then the main plate with a meaty demi-glace sauce hamburger (you can choose either Japanese-style sauce or Fugu Kiyomasa ponzu sauce), plenty of vegetable salad, and ratatouille. I added rice (bread is also OK) and enjoyed the thick, juicy hamburger with demi-glace sauce on the rice. The salad was also delicious, and I finished the ratatouille as well. It was so tasty♪ Thank you for the meal☆ Last year it was exactly 1,000 yen, but it has been raised now. Well, it can't be helped... Fresh, thick and fluffy fugu with generous portions. I have always gone to the same fugu restaurant, but this time I made a reservation for the first time because they have private rooms and tables, which is convenient for my elderly parents with mobility issues. I will likely continue to use this place in the future. The food was incredibly delicious.

There is a new fugu restaurant near the hospital I always go to. It seems to be a branch because it says "Hanare". As it gets colder, I feel like eating hot pot, so I've been exploring new hot pot restaurants lately. I went for lunch to check it out. The menu offers a choice of hamburg, fish, or meat as the main dish of the day. Despite being a fugu restaurant? Haha well, I tried the daily fish lunch which was sautéed saury. It was delicious. However, they forgot to bring the salad and soup that were listed on the menu. Maybe they are still getting used to being newly opened. The staff was friendly and there were no issues, so I might give it another try. I also noticed they offer Hanawarado warabi mochi for takeout, which is a good warabi mochi. It might be perfect if the kinako topping was a bit tastier.

I am "Noronori" and I mainly go around eating lunch in Sakai. I came here after hearing that lunch had started. I was guided to a private table seat. There seem to be three types of lunch options. I chose the fish lunch. The weekly menu at the time of my visit was autumn salmon with butter sauce. The autumn salmon was grilled to perfection and served with ratatouille, eringi, and shimeji mushrooms. The autumn salmon with butter was delicious. The service was also very polite, and I enjoyed my meal in a pleasant atmosphere. Thank you for the meal.

Riding my bike home feeling a bit wobbly, I pass by the place where the izakaya Sakura used to be, which has now become a fugu (blowfish) restaurant. It seems to be a branch of Fugu Kiyoshi, a restaurant called Fugu Kiyoshi Hanare. It's quite reasonably priced. They also serve lunch there, as I saw from the sign... Oh!? I see the words "Bistro Tsuji". A rare find for me, a delicious Western-style restaurant where I had the chance to go back to. Unfortunately, it had closed down and turned into a men's esthetic salon, and now it's a warabi mochi shop. They also sell their products there. During lunchtime, Bistro Tsuji and Niwara-do seem to be operating as a pop-up shop. With Bistro Tsuji making a comeback, I decided to go there right away!! The interior of the restaurant is all private rooms since it's a fugu restaurant. Even though I was alone, I was guided to a private room. The menu looks like this, and of course, they also have information about warabi mochi. The fish is sourced from Uo Hanafresh Fish Store located near Sakai-shi Station. The weekly changing lunch menu is also appealing, but the hamburger here is a must-try, so I decided to go for the Hamburger Lunch for 1000 yen. You can choose from Demi-glace sauce, Japanese-style sauce, or Fugu Kiyoshi's special ponzu sauce, and also choose between bread or rice. It's a tough decision on which combination to go for. But you have to make a choice to place the order. So, here comes the Hamburger Lunch for 1000 yen. I chose Demi-glace sauce and bread. However, even just by looking at it, you can feel that it's worth more than 1000 yen. The hamburger is a nice portion, weighing 150g. It comes with French-style kinpira of burdock and ratatouille as side dishes. Also, tomato bouillon soup and salad are included. By the way, the tomato bouillon soup and salad were served first, but I had to resist eating them to take pictures (laughs). Now, let's cut into the hamburger. It may be hard to see, but it's full of juices. Let's dig in. Yes, it's meat!!! Of course, it's meat. But it's not just any meat. It's meat with a lot of texture, very juicy. This is so good!!! The texture of the meat goes perfectly with the Demi-glace sauce. This is the ultimate hamburger. Who else can we call the Hamburger Master if not the person who made this hamburger? (laughs) But seriously, it's the best!!! I finished it in no time. But there's sauce left. I'm usually a rice person, but I ordered bread for this occasion. Let's scoop up the sauce with the baguette. Oh yeah, this is so good. It's incredibly delicious. I'm so happy. Of course, I scooped it up cleanly. The tomato bouillon soup has a perfect balance of tomato flavor at 7 and acidity at 3. It's filled with plenty of ingredients and has a great taste. There's nothing to complain about!!! Finally, the warabi mochi dessert arrived. It's so soft and delicious. If this is all for 1000 yen, then it's more than satisfying. It's just amazing. This is the taste of a top-notch restaurant without a doubt. It's no wonder that customers keep coming in one after another. However, there's some sad news. Starting from 10 days ago, lunch has been available at this restaurant. There are three options to choose from: the first is hamburger, the second is the weekly meat set meal, and the other is the weekly fish set meal. This time, I chose the fish. First, the entrance of the restaurant is unobtrusive. The outside sign looks simple and modest. I think black writing on a white background would be more suitable. As I entered, I felt a bit awkward as I stepped down a bit. It truly feels like a fugu restaurant. The atmosphere is very Japanese. I was guided to a private room with sliding doors. The salad and onion soup were served first. The salad dressing was a bit sour, so I recommend asking for it in a separate bowl. The main dish was sea bream with anchovy and crushed olives. You can choose between white rice and bread. I chose bread and enjoyed the anchovy-flavored olives on top. The sea bream was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It was delicious and I wanted to savor every bite. The price was known to me from the beginning, but I felt it was too cheap when it was time to pay. I will definitely come back next week to try the meat set meal. This 1000 yen lunch is worth becoming a regular at this restaurant.

The seats were all in private rooms and had a clean and beautiful feel. The food and drinks were reasonably priced and satisfying. I plan to go again. I ordered the course with anglerfish in the photo.

I had a spacious private room to myself. I ordered the hamburger set for 1200 yen. The taste was average, and I couldn't quite distinguish the flavor of the hamburger. I'm sorry. The atmosphere was nice.

The blowfish sashimi was large and not easily seen in other restaurants. It was great that smoking was allowed in private rooms! It was delicious. I definitely want to visit again.
