On Sunday, the sports day for the kids was interrupted due to rain, so my family and I decided to go to Tenjin for some shopping since we had some free time in the afternoon. My wife and the kids were looking forward to enjoying some snacks as they walked around. After some research, we found out that there was a store in Solaria Plaza that served matcha sweets, which my sixth-grade daughter loves. So, we decided to visit "nana'sgreentea" at Solaria Plaza. "nana'sgreentea" is operated by a company called Shichisai, based in Meguro, Tokyo. They have stores all over Japan, from Sapporo in Hokkaido to Okinawa, as well as in Taiwan, Singapore, Vancouver in Canada, and Seattle in the United States. While their main focus is tea and sweets, they also offer meal options like ochazuke, udon, and donburi. In Fukuoka, they have stores at Hakata Station Deitos and Fukuoka Parco New Building, but the Solaria Plaza store on the 4th floor has a more relaxed atmosphere compared to the other city stores. My sixth-grade daughter, who loves matcha, ordered the matcha nama chocolate parfait, my wife chose the matcha roll cake and blend coffee set, and my younger daughter, who doesn't like matcha, ordered the lemon soft soda with pearls in a large size. As for me, I decided to go with the matcha shiratama parfait. We placed our orders at the register when we entered the store, and our dishes were soon brought to our table. The matcha shiratama parfait was topped with whipped cream, red bean paste, matcha ice cream, shiratama, cornflakes, and vanilla ice cream, with matcha jelly at the bottom. The whipped cream was rich, the matcha ice cream was intense, and the red bean paste was pleasantly sweet. Mixing the shiratama with these flavors created a luxurious taste. As I scooped up the matcha jelly from the bottom, I enjoyed its rich matcha flavor combined with the vanilla cream. My younger daughter's lemon soft soda was also delicious and flavorful. It was evident that the store took great care in preparing not only tea-based items but also other menu items. I found the experience quite enjoyable and would love to come back for more rich matcha sweets if the opportunity arises.

Arrived around 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Ordered and paid first. Ordered the matcha latte, which seemed to be a popular choice. As soon as I sat down, the drink arrived promptly. Fast service. The sweetness was gentle and the taste was pleasant. Didn't feel like I could stay for too long though.

I felt like I wanted to take my time and relax on this day, so I thought of this shop. The interior is a calm space with white as the base color, and the customers are mostly women. The window-side counter seats have a nice view, and it's safe for a woman dining alone. You order and pay at the counter in front of the shop. The lunch set is available until 2:30 PM, and you can choose a dessert and a drink. I chose Set A, which includes tuna and avocado over rice, warabi mochi, and a drink of choice (1530 yen). You can change the dessert for an additional fee, so I upgraded to matcha jelly for 150 yen. I received a number tag and found a seat at a table since the window counter was full. The dishes were served together on one tray. I noticed that my tea wasn't served, but it turned out to be self-service. Since it's more of a cafe than a restaurant, it was normal. However, they specialize in tea, so the matcha jelly was delicious. I was able to enjoy a leisurely meal and immerse myself in the moment.

Nana's Green Tea has quickly become popular everywhere, with good locations in every city. I took a break there and wondered about the background of this rapidly growing shop.

I come here for parfaits. I have visited a few times. The prices are reasonable, the interior is comfortable for solo customers, and the atmosphere is bright and open. The parfaits have a good portion size and you can enjoy a hearty parfait. I am not really interested in the food menu, so I have not tried it.

Today, I would like to introduce Nana's Green Tea Tenjin SORARIA Plaza store located in Tenjin, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture. The matcha latte and desserts are impressive, and the interior of the store is very clean and well-maintained. You can enjoy the best cafe time while looking out at Maizuru Park from the window. I tried the matcha latte this time, and it had a subtly sweet and delicious taste.

I was brought here by my daughter who loves wagashi and matcha. The interior of the shop is clearly geared towards women only. Located in Sola City Plaza, it's convenient to stop by while shopping. We tried the Matcha Shiratama Azuki Latte M for 590 yen and the Matcha Shiratama Parfait for 800 yen. The matcha latte was easy to drink without bitterness. With shiratama and azuki on top, it felt like enjoying a cold Japanese sweet. The shiratama was chewy and the sweet red bean paste had a nice balance of sweetness. The parfait was also delicious, as my daughter finished it before I even finished my latte. It's a great place for a quick and tasty break, with cute and friendly staff.

It's a matcha cafe, but they have a good selection of hojicha menu items which is great. The "Hojicha Shiratama Parfait" is delicious, especially the hojicha ice cream and red bean paste. They complement each other perfectly. The bitterness of the black syrup agar at the bottom also adds a nice balance.

The young people downstairs are busy lining up for tapioca drinks, but us older ladies can relax here at our own pace. It's nice to enjoy something cold in this intense lingering summer heat. The matcha drink was not too sweet and delicious. Ah, feeling grateful for this moment of happiness.

It cannot be said categorically, but if the sweetness is strong, it can detract from the flavor of matcha. Among the wide variety of matcha sweets out there, the matcha at this shop is to my liking. Black sesame ice cream and shiratama. The black sesame ice cream has a rich flavor full of black sesame, and the shiratama here is not overly sweet, allowing you to taste the flavor of the mochi with a good elasticity. The matcha has a good balance of bitterness and aroma! It was delicious. You can often see this shop in various commercial facilities, and you can't help but want to take a peek!

I got my usual matcha latte to go. The store was spacious and looked comfortable. The matcha flavor was strong and delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I went to Starbucks during the day, but in the evening, I wanted to relax somewhere different. I found a nice green tea cafe inside Solaria. The counter by the window overlooked the Kenrokuen Park side. As it got dark, the illumination was enjoyable. I ordered the hojicha parfait set. It was a bit pricey, but the parfait with just the right amount of sweetness was really good. The hojicha latte was also easy to drink with just the right amount of sweetness. The location was great, and it was a nice hidden gem of a cafe.
