This is a Japanese restaurant located along Abeno-suji, a little south of Abenobashi Station on the Osaka Metro Tanimachi Line, Hankai Tramway Uemachi Line, and Abenobashi Line. I visited for lunch. The owner, who gained experience at Minoyoshi, opened this restaurant on June 2, 2023, after operating at "Buffalo29" near Kintetsu Osaka Abenobashi Station. The chic and modern interior has two tables in the front and a counter facing the kitchen with about 10 seats in the back. I arrived at 11:30 am, and within 15 minutes, the restaurant was almost full. It seems to have become a popular spot already. The lunch menu includes dishes like "Roast Beef Bowl Set" (900 yen), "Rare Mackerel Cutlet Set," "Seafood Bowl Set" (both 1,200 yen), "Grilled Fish Set," "Tonkatsu Set" (both 1,000 yen), "Pork Ginger Set" (950 yen), "Sashimi Set," "Naniwa Wagyu Beef Cutlet Set" (both 1,500 yen), and more. I ordered the "Rare Mackerel Cutlet Set." After a short wait, the set arrived. It included a plate of rare mackerel cutlet, a salad, simmered dish, and a dipping sauce for the cutlet. The miso soup came later. The mackerel cutlet was perfectly rare, with a light and crispy batter and a juicy and flavorful fish inside. The dipping sauce was excellent, adding a refreshing touch to the dish. The simmered dish was cooked to perfection, and the rice was deliciously fluffy and sweet. However, the miso soup was too salty. Overall, the seating was more comfortable than when they were operating as a pop-up, and the kitchen seemed spacious and well-equipped. I'll have to visit for dinner sometime.
