I also ordered some yakitori dishes, but I forgot to take a photo of them. It's a delicious yakitori restaurant. It's popular among locals, and the friendly couple who run the place make you feel welcome. Thank you for the meal!

Today, I suddenly felt like eating yakitori. I searched for a yakitori restaurant nearby that I hadn't been to before and found this place. I saw a review by Rozenin and it seemed like a decent place, so I decided to go there. It seems like a husband and wife run the place, and there are a decent number of seats. The draft beer was only 300 yen, which is a reasonable price. Most items on the menu were priced at 280 yen. I didn't have to worry too much about the prices, haha. I had two onigiri, grilled chicken skin with salt, grilled tsukune with sauce, grilled negima with salt, and grilled chicken meat with salt. Everything was delicious and worth the price. What made me happy was that they changed the pickles that came with the onigiri each time I ordered. It's a small gesture, but it made me happy. I will definitely come back here when I feel like having affordable yakitori again.

Yakitori Waraya has five locations in the prefecture, but I had never heard of it before... Oops! When it comes to liver sashimi, sesame oil is the usual choice, right? (Sweat) I'm a bit of a contrarian who doesn't like the usual, so I asked for soy sauce instead! Glad to see they use sweet soy sauce from southern Kyushu! The skewers come in sets of two, all priced at $280. It's been a while since I've had "negima" (chicken thigh with green onion). I've always avoided it because I couldn't get used to the combination of meat and vegetables, but trying it again after a long time, it's actually delicious! (Sweat) As for the yakitori Okonomiyaki-style? It's a skewer of chicken tenderloin topped with sauce, mayonnaise, and green onions, sprinkled with bonito flakes? What on earth is this?
