The sashimi was incredibly delicious. It was my first time trying tuna sashimi with sesame oil, and it had a flavor similar to raw liver that I had in the past. It was so delicious!! Not only the sashimi, but also the tempura and other dishes were very tasty. We ended up staying for a long time (sorry!!), but the staff was very kind, and I definitely plan on visiting again. It's a pleasant restaurant in every way.

Gin'ya Toyonaka Branch is an izakaya located in Toyonaka. At the entrance of the restaurant, there is a fish tank with lobsters and fish welcoming you. This time, we sat at the counter seats. The restaurant was bustling with customers. The kitchen seemed to be operated by three people. First, we were served with a complimentary appetizer. Then, we ordered a special cold tofu from Nara, a platter called "Gin Morri" which included whale, salmon, squid, sea bream, octopus, bluefin tuna, horse mackerel, yellowtail, turban shell, and sea bream skin liver. The presentation was impressive. We also tried the shishamo tempura, which was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Lastly, we had simmered monkfish, which had a rich and flavorful taste. My husband got full quickly this time, so we couldn't try much, but we look forward to trying more dishes next time.

Around 7 o'clock in the evening, I called ahead to reserve a table and visited the restaurant. We ordered the silver platter (sashimi platter) for two, vegetable salad, grilled fresh octopus on a tabletop grill, and draft beer. The silver platter was truly impressive. They showed us the fish they would be serving before bringing it out. The variety and quantity of seafood on the platter exceeded our expectations for a serving for two. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The other menu items were also generous in portion size and delicious. The food was great, but I was a bit concerned that none of the staff were wearing masks on this day. I have been to this restaurant before and would like to visit again in the future, but I think I will wait until after the COVID situation has settled down before going back.

I visited for a business dinner in front of Toyonaka Station. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the seafood was at this location. The staff's service was also excellent, making it a truly great restaurant. If I eat in the area again, I would definitely want to visit this restaurant.

The fish is all fresh. Grilled and fried dishes are like homemade.

The freshness of the fish was great and the interior was amazing. The menu had a wide variety of options and I left feeling full. However, I noticed a bit of roughness in the quality of the staff. They were rushing me to transfer food to another plate even though there was still quite a bit left on my current plate. It was nice that they waited for it to be empty before clearing it, but it felt a bit hurried. Also, when I almost bumped into someone in the hallway, they didn't even apologize... It's a shame because it's a delicious restaurant.
