The sashimi was incredibly delicious. It was my first time trying tuna sashimi with sesame oil, and it had a flavor similar to raw liver that I had in the past. It was so delicious!! Not only the sashimi, but also the tempura and other dishes were very tasty. We ended up staying for a long time (sorry!!), but the staff was very kind, and I definitely plan on visiting again. It's a pleasant restaurant in every way.

Gin'ya Toyonaka Branch is an izakaya located in Toyonaka. At the entrance of the restaurant, there is a fish tank with lobsters and fish welcoming you. This time, we sat at the counter seats. The restaurant was bustling with customers. The kitchen seemed to be operated by three people. First, we were served with a complimentary appetizer. Then, we ordered a special cold tofu from Nara, a platter called "Gin Morri" which included whale, salmon, squid, sea bream, octopus, bluefin tuna, horse mackerel, yellowtail, turban shell, and sea bream skin liver. The presentation was impressive. We also tried the shishamo tempura, which was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Lastly, we had simmered monkfish, which had a rich and flavorful taste. My husband got full quickly this time, so we couldn't try much, but we look forward to trying more dishes next time.

Around 7 o'clock in the evening, I called ahead to reserve a table and visited the restaurant. We ordered the silver platter (sashimi platter) for two, vegetable salad, grilled fresh octopus on a tabletop grill, and draft beer. The silver platter was truly impressive. They showed us the fish they would be serving before bringing it out. The variety and quantity of seafood on the platter exceeded our expectations for a serving for two. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The other menu items were also generous in portion size and delicious. The food was great, but I was a bit concerned that none of the staff were wearing masks on this day. I have been to this restaurant before and would like to visit again in the future, but I think I will wait until after the COVID situation has settled down before going back.

I visited for a business dinner in front of Toyonaka Station. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the seafood was at this location. The staff's service was also excellent, making it a truly great restaurant. If I eat in the area again, I would definitely want to visit this restaurant.

The freshness of the fish was great and the interior was amazing. The menu had a wide variety of options and I left feeling full. However, I noticed a bit of roughness in the quality of the staff. They were rushing me to transfer food to another plate even though there was still quite a bit left on my current plate. It was nice that they waited for it to be empty before clearing it, but it felt a bit hurried. Also, when I almost bumped into someone in the hallway, they didn't even apologize... It's a shame because it's a delicious restaurant.

They offer a variety of dishes including sashimi, fried foods, and meat. There are also private rooms available, making it suitable for small gatherings. It seems popular among local mothers who gather on bicycles and residents of the area. It is a popular spot for a wide range of people, including young people and women.

At the north exit of Toyonaka Station, further north along Route 176, there is a sushi-like restaurant with a charming atmosphere. The sound of water from the tank near the entrance adds to the anticipation of the freshness of the seafood. We were led to a cozy, dimly lit private room with sunken kotatsu seating. While they offer a variety of typical izakaya dishes, the handwritten menu lists the day's fresh fish offerings. When you come here, you must try the assorted sashimi! The extravagant platter includes tuna, striped jack, salmon, squid, sea urchin, flounder, octopus, and firefly squid with mustard miso, as well as horse sashimi. Even though there were four of us, two servings were more than enough. We also enjoyed other dishes such as daikon salad, eel omelette, and grilled alfonsino. The crispy grilled alfonsino was delicious with a touch of fat that melted in the mouth, especially when paired with a dry sake like Tosa Crane. The conger eel tempura and beltfish tempura were light and crispy, while the thick-fleshed ray fin, julienned yam, and shochu made for a delightful combination. It was a truly blissful moment to savor various fish dishes prepared in different ways and paired with a variety of drinks. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

This is one of the restaurants we like to go to occasionally as a family to eat fish. It's nice to have private rooms where we can relax without worrying about others when we go with our family. We went late this day so we were able to get a table right away. Whenever we come here, we always order their specialty dish, which is a platter of assorted seasonal fresh fish. On this day, they served us a larger portion than usual as a special service since it was late and they were almost sold out. Their recommended dishes that change with the seasons are also delicious. It's a highly recommended restaurant!

Near Toyonaka Station. I also went to the Fukushima branch, but there is no parking lot. Had to park at a nearby coin parking. The entrance usually has a fish tank, and there is a counter and private rooms. A must-order is the silver platter, with various types of sashimi beautifully arranged. It's fresh and delicious! You can enjoy it with ginger or ponzu sauce. I also ordered a hot pot, which came in a generous portion for one person. They also offer porridge if you ask. However, it's common to be turned away on weekends even if you call ahead (which can be frustrating after parking at a coin parking). Weekdays are usually better. If there are two of you, you might end up at the counter, which can get a bit cramped when ordering a variety of dishes.

Just a 3-minute walk from Hankyu Toyonaka Station towards Hotaruike, you'll find a cool-looking shop called Gin'ya just a little ahead of Hotel Ivory. I went there for a drinking party with my high school friends! First of all, they have udon on the menu, so it's a pass (Nendoyanen!). The highlight here is definitely the fish, which is delicious at a reasonable price. Sashimi, grilled fish... they have it all. They also have a variety of alcohol, including shochu. It's perfect for reunions or gatherings with close friends where you can have a great time chatting and laughing!

Osaka is a city in the northern part of the prefecture, at the heart of Toyonaka City, Toyonaka Station. The city doesn't have a clear charm or appeal, but based on a friend's recommendation, I decided to visit this restaurant. It is located about a 4-minute walk from the station, so the accessibility is good. Nearby, there are other good restaurants like Watanabe Seimen, Camembert de Hikita, and Seizankaku. I usually go to Kishigami for fresh fish dishes, so I don't visit other restaurants often, but decided to give this one a try. The sign outside with fish names written in kanji in a checkered pattern made it look like a sushi restaurant at first glance. We visited with a group of 6 people, and we had ordered the sashimi assortment in advance, which was said to take some time. We ordered 2 servings for 2 people each. The sashimi assortment was overwhelming in volume, as rumored. It included jellyfish and conger eel on the other side of the sea bream head. The octopus that we couldn't finish was served in a separate dish as a complimentary service. Honestly, the volume of food made me lose my appetite. The freshness of the dishes was good. We also ordered the Ise shrimp course as the highlight of the meal. Since there were 6 of us, we ordered 3 shrimp. The shrimp were fresh and had a nice texture, but were a bit small and lacked sweetness. The whiskers of the shrimp were still moving. Each person ended up spending around 6000 yen, including various dishes and sea urchin rice bowl. The cost performance was excellent. The restaurant offers a reasonable izakaya menu with fresh fish dishes. It can be used as both a casual izakaya and a seafood restaurant, depending on the direction of the order. However, it was disappointing that the staff inside the restaurant seemed to be inexperienced or like working at a chain store. I hope they improve their skills in customer service.
