At Akurosu Mall, I tried Sakanaya for the first time since I was a child. It's a newly opened Sakanaya, so I was curious about what it would be like and decided to give it a try. I went for lunch, but the menu was not very extensive. Everything except for the grill was self-service. There were no single-item menu options, and the yakisoba was dry and shriveled (lol). The ramen and udon were decent though! The meat dishes were okay, maybe fitting for the all-you-can-eat price of 1480 yen, or slightly (just a little) better. I received a discount coupon for my next visit on my way out, but I don't think I'll be needing it.

I am "Noronori" and I mainly go around eating lunch in Sakai. I visited Acros Mall Sugakiya, where I used to frequent, but now that Su-chan has withdrawn, I thought I wouldn't come here anymore. However, I decided to visit because a new all-you-can-eat restaurant, Sakon, opened. It opened on March 14, 2021, and until the 31st, they have a special opening plan where a limited number of people can eat at a discounted price. I visited on the 30th (Tuesday) and arrived at 1:40 pm. I hesitated to challenge the early bird special for 1,000 yen for the first 50 customers, but I thought it might be impossible during spring break, so I gave up and paid the regular fee of 1,480 yen. I enjoyed a variety of meats like harami, tan, ramen, curry, etc. It was a fun all-you-can-eat experience! Thank you for the meal.

My wife and I went to the Akros Mall Sakon no Izumikita store again. As ordinary office workers like us can't afford high-end yakiniku, we have to settle for all-you-can-eat places even if we have to compromise on meat quality. We went around 12 o'clock today, and there were only five groups of customers, including us, due to heavy rain. It's sad to see such a low number of customers during peak hours. The meat quality was decently tasty, not great but not bad either. However, the amount of meat, vegetables, and desserts was small because of the low number of customers. I've noticed before, but the curry and ramen were delicious. Initially, they didn't offer things like oden or potatoes for lunch, but recently they started serving them, which is nice. Another thing that caught my attention was that the ice machine in the drink bar was a bit dirty, so I asked a staff member to clean it. The male manager seemed exhausted and unfriendly. It's really disappointing for a restaurant where people like us who prioritize quantity over quality can eat a lot for a low price. I'll continue to support them.

I went for both lunch and dinner, but I was surprised by how different the quality of the meat was. The meat at dinner was decent, but the meat at lunch - the sirloin and kalbi - was too thin and would break apart as soon as it was cooked. The pork belly was small and would quickly turn black. The desserts, like cakes, were dry, and the ice cream was messy with a mix of vanilla, chocolate, orange, strawberry, etc. The drinks were too diluted with ice. Well, I guess considering the price, it can't be helped. Maybe it's fine for people who prioritize quantity over quality and just want to eat until they're full.
