On a regular dinner outing, I was taken to a delicious yakitori restaurant in Ginza by a Marunouchi office lady who loves good food. Located in a building 5 minutes walk from Ginza Station on the 5th floor along Kyubancho Street, the restaurant offers a chic and casual yet calm atmosphere with counter and table seating. It is a yakitori restaurant where you can enjoy a marriage of yakitori and approximately 100 wines selected by a sommelier, making it a hidden gem for adults. We started with a toast with sparkling wine of the day, which had delicate bubbles and a refreshing taste. The bamboo course included chicken white broth soup, appetizers, salad, 7 skewers, oyakodon, and dessert. The chicken white broth soup was delicious with a gentle flavor of condensed chicken umami, and the salad had a refreshing acidity dressing. The appetizers included potato salad, duck loin, fried eggplant, and seasonal vegetable crackers, all of which were tasty. The menu included unique items such as chicken neck, which had a interesting texture, and heart, which had just the right amount of fat and a unique texture. We also enjoyed plum wine made with Japanese sugar, which had a smooth and elegant sweetness. The skewers included chicken liver, which melted in the mouth, chicken wing skin that was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and gingko nuts that were plump and delicious. We also ordered additional skewers such as mozzarella marinated in soy sauce, duck wrapped in spring onion, and premium chicken liver, all of which were incredibly delicious. The meal ended with oyakodon and egg soup, both of which were perfect for finishing the meal. We also had a refreshing sherbet for dessert. The staff were attentive and provided detailed explanations. Overall, it was a satisfying dinner experience.
